THIS DESERVES NO STARS, I went to this place to get a nose piercing and the man in the front who carries a bag on his shoulder assisted me and my friend, we paid $30 to get the nose pierced- THIS MAN DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING he poked my nose the first time and made me bleed horribly, then went back in a second time with the needle and seems as if he made 2 holes on top of each other. After he was able to get the piercing in he went to the back to grab someone to help him with my friends nose piercing because he said he was having issues inserting the needle in & then he blamed my nose for it being SMALL ! I got my arm piece there and it turned out nice the lady did it, but i recently went to get a simple tattoo and the guy who did it was extremely heavy handed and messed up my entire tattoo he literally dug into my skin and it's bleeding still after 4 days so if you do go there don't get the guy to do your tattoo, so now I have to wait for it to heal to get a cover up, also while he was doing my tattoo he said oh shit so I think he knew he messed up. I told them I wanted 11:26 tattoo.. it was stenciled perfectly... the guy tattoos 11:25 on me! and then goes to try and fix it by turning the 5 to a 6 and it's UGLY!! the 2 also looks extremely bad. Let me start off by saying I've been to my share of tattoo parlors and I have about 6 tattoos. I came here after work on a Friday about 5:30.When I first walked in here the first thing that hit me was "Damn this place smells kind of funky". I proceeded to ask the front desk girl about getting my nose pierced. The good thing about My Tattoo Shop is most piercings are $20. If you know anything about piercings you know damn well thats cheap. There was only 1 tattoo/piercer and he was "finishing" up a tattoo. I wasn't in a hurry so I waited. I literally didn't get out of there till 6:30 ish maybe even closer to 7pm. *Read below for more horror* 1)Place needs to be updated looks run down (the couch is gross) 2) Shop smells like old beer/piss 3) Tattoo artist is VERY unprofessional -he looked intoxicated -he was sweating profusely -while he pierced he said "Oops" Enough said. NEVER go here. The place is so unorganized. I went in to get my nose pierced for a hoop. After telling the piercer what I wanted, he forgot and pierced with a smaller needle and put in a stud. He had to re-pierce over the hole with the proper sized needle. He also used an open hoop that he just squeezed to smallen the opening, then rotated the opening into my nostril. I asked if the opening would go into the pierced hole, he said no. I noticed I couldn't rotate my jewelry at all. So after 2 weeks, I went to a better shop and got it confirmed that the opening of the jewelry was in the hole and half of the hole healed. And, the piercer put it like that! Plus he never marked where he was putting it or asked where I wanted I places other than left side, or right. The piercer kept insisting that I was high and must have done x,y,z drugs. Long story short, they're unprofessional, cocky/arrogant/ full of them selves, and didn't really know what they were doing. I would NEVER go back there read more

Horrible customer service.. I asked for a medusa piercing & the guy there, that looked like he was 15 years old, told me it would cost 30$. I agreed & gave him my ID but then he asked for the money upfront, i said NO ill give you the money when my piercing is over like every tattoo shop does.. When i went inside the room i asked the guy to pierced my lip from the outside going in, but he insisted it to be from the inside out. I told him he would see where he was going if he did it tht way. By the way very unproffesional he was dressed in a white tee, shorts, & jordan slides with no socks. I kinda felt discusted. So i ended up leaving w/o a piercing. Unfortunately my nose was pierced with a 14 gauge needle instead of 16 Guage needle called into shop to let someone know what was going on I was wondering why my ring was always sinking into my nose .Well I finally discovered it was because the hole in my nose was way to big if my nose was pierced with the correct needle why do the ring go straight into the hole answer that piercing guy?However as I was asking for a new ring at another place there I was told piercing was done wrong and also I was told to use antibacterial soap for cleaning which is terrible I will never go there again and workers are rude ass hell . read more

I went in yesterday to get a second nose hoop on the same side as the one I had already, and a conch piercing in my ear. The service from the start wasn't great and they made us pay before we even got the piercings done. I ended up paying $65 for both piercings and left a $15 tip, which I regret now. I got the conch piercing first and it went smoothly up until he was closing it and it seemed like he had trouble with it and kept saying how 'snug' it was, eventually he sorta just got tired of trying to loosen it up and left it like that. Then I got the nose ring, I was indecisive about the spot I wanted it in and asked him multiple times if he could dot the two different spots and he never did, he just ended up piercing it, he asked me if I wanted a larger hoop or smaller hoop and I got the larger one but asked if in case it looked too big he could overlap it a little to make it look tighter and he said yes. After he closed it, it was a little big as I expected so I asked him if he could tighten it and he said something along the lines of "nah you can do that yourself" and left the room and never came back. I honestly thought he was just joking but he never returned and left me in the room with someone who seemed like he was in the process of being trained. He told me he would tighten it for me and proceeded to make a big gap within the hoop and couldn't close it, he even said that 'this is why the other guy left because it's such a pain to close.' It was starting to get so painful every time he tried closing it that I eventually just told him to stop and that I was gonna do it myself. I ended up closing it successfully in the parking lot, but while paying $80 I was expecting to receive better service than I did. If I would've known that asking for something that seemed simple wouldn't have been possible I wouldn't have even gone in the first place. I would never speak negatively about a location, but I was extremeeeely unhappy when I left and no one seemed to care at all. There was no after-care advice or a business card or a number to call with any questions for the healing process or help at all, and I'm completely disappointed in the service I received. I'm hoping this was just one bad experience and it does not happen regularly. read more

So I visited this location recently just to collect some information before I got my actual tattoo done. I chose this place because it's close to home. In one day I had three interactions with them, two in person and one over the phone. Each one more unpleasant than the last. There's a boy at the front desk who looks about 20-22 with a ponytail. This dude is sassy and rude. When I walked in, there was no greetings just a blank stare. After a phone call with this rude desk guy, i came back in. When I arrived, I told him I was the one he talked to and the phone and I was here to see the artist. He questioned me like I hadn't just talked to him 20 mins ago. So I asked him, didn't we just talk over the phone, didn't you just tell me to come in? This guy says to me you need to stop with the fucking attitude! Then he tried to carry on like he didn't just curse at me. I asked what attitude. He says well your looking at me like I'm a fucking idiot. He said it so casually, I was sure I wasn't the first customer he was like this with. Guys I promise I didn't have an attitude with this man. I was just a confused customer. Whether I had an attitude or not, which I didn't, was that the proper reaction? I don't frequent tattoo shop so idk what the standard is but dang, I hope that not it. I didn't even talk with the artist. I had heard enough. I know you guys just want the job done but the price ain't worth it if you're gonna have a bad feeling or memory connected to it. I have seriously had it with the Pompano My Tattoo Shop! For the past 4 years my husband and I have had all of our tattoos done at My Tattoo Shop. We have taken friends to get their first tattoos and those friends have become repeat customers as well. But the last 3 times I have gone in, the woman working the desk was rude. She acted better than me, and like I was disturbing her when I am the one paying for this work. One time I brought friends with me, and 3 of us were all going to get different tattoos. Not the buy one get one free, we had custom ideas, and she seemed like she could care less to answer our questions. Plus, we went in at 2pm and couldn't get anything done because an artist wouldn't be in til 5. WHY would you be open at noon if you cant get anything done until 5?! My friends went some where else. Tonight I went with my husband to get tattoos on our fingers and I was told they don't do that. No explanation just a no! If Im paying to get a tattoo done why does it matter where it goes, that's my choice! Its sad, because I have considered My Tattoo Shop to be my regular shop. I have plans for several tattoos and I now plan to go some where else because this place has gone down hill! I got both of my nipples pierced and my best friend had three dermals done here. We're both very happy with the experience that we had the piercer I forgot his name was very nice and professional. He took his time with doing my friends dermals but he had told her before hand that he does not rush dermals which is good in our book. He even went back and re anchored one of the dermals he did on her because he didn't think it was flush enough like the others. Also he made sure that they were all lined up as perfectly as he could. To be honest, my tattoo artist Freddie is a cool guy.... but as a tattoo artist and over experience I was not pleased. I was referred by a friend (who also regret going there) that got his tattoo done by freddie. Biggest regret of my life. For one he takes frequent smokes breaks and stop to do piercings and I'm paying for a five hour session. I understand he's the boss and also human being but the breaks was outrageous and they should hire someone for the piercings. Next the picture that I sent to him is nothing like what He did on my body. He's a decent tattoo artist but if you want a realistic piece or you care how your tattoo looks he's not the guy. On top of that he went to deep on the tattoo, to the point I was bleeding. Last his shading is awful af. The shading is what made it sooooooooo much horrible. All and all the customer service was not bad at all. The lady that works the front desk is actually nice. But I wish I waited and never enter that place. Never will go there again. read more

Ehhhh, I have mixed feelings about this place. Me & my sisters and cousins were visiting the area and we decided to get pierced. Me and my sister got our nose and my cousins got their tongue web pierced. The good: *the prices are really good. I paid 25 for a nose piercing. The tongue webs were 35. *the actual piercing process went smoothly (for me anyway). *The guy who pierced us was nice enough and he answered all the questions we had. *We didn't have much of a wait. the bad: *when you first walk in, all you smell is cigarette smoke. I was really turned off by that. I would've walked out but I didn't feel like finding another place. *It's cash only. *And one of my cousins said the guy cursed at her when he was doing her piercing. Now, she was being a little difficult, freaking out over her piercing. But she's getting a new piercing and it's understandable for someone to be a little scared. He should've handled that way better. *no aftercare instructions! I didn't need any because I already had the other side of my nose done and I know what to do and what not to do. And I told him he didn't need to go over anything with me. But my sister and cousins all got new piercings and they all felt like the guy should've gave them more thorough instructions on how to care for their piercings. They ended up looking for instructions on the internet. *And, I didn't realize this til a day or so later but the jewelry the guy used on me was too small. My jewelry is sinking into my nose. All in all, you get what you pay for. The very low prices kinda makes up for the experience. For others, the "bad" stuff may not be deal breakers, but for me, it's not things I want to deal with when getting pierced. read more

I should have known something was wrong but I continued in excitement for my tattoo. The tattoo artist placed the tattoo outline or whatever on me without realizing that it was crooked. He was then obviously able to move it after I pointed it out. After, the tattoo was not fully shades the way it was supposed to. It was also not the same sized letters. As soon as I walk into the place it smells like cigarettes, I didn't think anything of it. Then I walked up to the lady and she asks me what I'm here for and I say a tattoo, I show her and she says $45. My friend compliments the shop and she doesn't even look at him and just says "thanks." This is an ok shop with pretty cool people. I've gotten two eyebrow piercings from them from two different locations. The first piercing was done straight up and down which caused my eyebrow to reject it, and the second one was done 12/12/16 and just today I had it checked out by Colorfast Tattoo and Piercing and they recommended to go to a walk in clinic because of how swollen it was, they said it was pierced at the correct angle but the bar should've been drastically longer than it was and that it was pierced too deep. Again great people and awesome environment but the price is deceiving for how sterile they operate things and how unknowledgeable they are when it comes to piercings. read more
