So I had my bellybutton pierced for 6 years then I decided To take it out because I didn't really feel like having it anymore but now I wanted to put it back so I went go get it repierce by the way I got it pierced at the this place six years ago, but it was a completely different guy and the guy did it above the hole I had before so at this point I had two holes in my stomach and trust me I told the guy to do it in the same place and same hole he even marked it with the marker and then once he did it I didn't realize it was above the hole I had before it looked like shit and I took it out two days after because I didn't want to have two holes in my stomach because of a piercing by the way the guy has long hair and his pretty skinny that's all I had to pay $40 to get a extra hole on my stomach what a idiot. read more

My mom and I went here to get some piercings done. The studio was very clean and welcoming. We met with Jeremiah who was very experienced and made us feel good about going in to his location and made sure that we all got to chat and know each other. I just got accepted to nursing school and needed an easier piercing than I had. My original one was really hard to get out. In fact, it hadn't been out in 8 years. I emailed Jeremiah and set up a time to come in. He had the thing out in 10 seconds and replaced with a new one with directions and hands on experience on how to replace the new one. I didnt get a piercing here but everyone is so friendly and nice and Jeremiah listened to me and got me in and out fast. Place is clean. I will definitely come back if I want a new piercing! After calling to inquire about scheduling an appointment the guy on the phone told me to stop by early so the artist could meet with me and create a custom design if I wanted. I let the artist, Jason, take the phrase I wanted and let him put his creative spin on it. I would highly recommend Jason and Big Kahuna; the shop is professional, clean and all of the guys are extremely knowledgeable. Sidenote: They only accept cash, but they have an ATM in the back if you need it. read more

Great experience! My friend and I went in to get matching tattoos and we had a really positive experience. The staff, specifically Brendan, was really nice when greeting us and setting us up. Our tattoo artists Matt was soooo nice! He was very talented and gave us great artistic perspective. He even touched up my friends old tattoo while we were there. Big Kahuna guarantees for life which is a plus!! Their price was reasonable for the area. Will go again and will recommend! read more

I love this place! I got my dermals done here, 3 down my spine, and they looked amazing and lasted for 3 years! Most artists from other places would tell me the dermals would reject within a few months but not mine! I'm sure it depends on the persons body but I know it also definitely depends on the piercer! I also came here three years later to get them removed and that worked out great too! Of course it took time but he did it as gentle as possible. He even discounted me because it took a little longer to get one of them out. A lot of my friends who are locals in Boca come here regularly and love it too. The artists are all really nice and helpful. They know what they're doing. The ambiance is nice and you feel comfortable being there. Definitely recommend! read more

GREAT ATMOSPHERE! I came in for my first tattoo in 2010 and I have been going back ever since. Jason H AND Jason M are both amaZing artists. Jeremiah is great as well, hes pierced me a few times and ive never had any issue. Besides doing quality work these guys will keep you laughing. My 4:30hr long piece felt like 15 minutes listening to them joke around. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! read more

Jeremiah (sic?) has been taking care of my piercings for over 8 years ! Two times he's healed me from bad piercings done by others. I came in on Tuesday after not seeing him for a few months and didn't realize he doesn't work that day. I wanted to get my lower navel pierced and let one of the tattoo artists do it even though I was there for Jeremiah. Even the tattoo artist, a woman, I forget her name did a fantastic job. I came back a few days later to do my ears and Jeremiah was there and did 5 piercings all at once with almost no pain. It's been about a week and both my belly button and my ears are healing fabulously with little to no care at all. Jeremiah is the best that's for sure. He is who I would write a review for. I'm rating big kahunas 5 stars because even the darn tattoo artist did an amazing job with my belly button. It's clear that everyone in there knows what their doing. With piercings I would trust Jeremiah with my life! With tattoos, I would trust his opinion on who I should go to. This place deserves a hell of a thumbs up. It's even in a great location. read more

My best friend and I decided to get matching yin yang tattoos on our right ankles. The tattoo artists as well as the rest of the workers there were so nice and friendly. The price also wasn't bad but the tattoo could be better. The outline of both our tattoos was not perfect but we weren't too upset because we understood how for the cheap price we paid we weren't going to get a perfect tattoo. Also, it's been about a month since we got the tattoos and both of our tattoos look dry and wrinkly. We cleaned and put lotion on it but still it looks dry. We both have other tattoos and never experienced a healing process like this one. I posted a picture of both of our tattoos. read more

Clean, professional and beyond experienced. My teen got several piercing there not one infection everything looks and healed perfect. They give detailed instructions and only use sterile equipment. I went in because a piercing I got at a different local shop fell out and I refused to go back there. The piercer at Big Kahuna was awesome! He explained that I was lied to by the other shop about the quality of my jewelry, which was also giving me a keloid. When he changed my jewelry I felt no pain at all. This place is awesome! After the artist took a look at my design, they advised that I NOT do it. We went over the design and I went back twice with revisions until the artist gave the ok. I found this very impressive as I had gone to a couple of other places that just said "sure, I'll do this for you" Obviously the artists at Kahuna take much more pride in their work and aren't just after your money! Everyone there was very nice and helpful, and exhibited a professionalism that you just don't see anywhere anymore. I am very very happy with me new tattoo! read more

Aquiles was really welcoming and understanding with the design of the tattoo and he completed approx 6-7 inches of beautiful work on my skin within 3 hours. The shop was very clean and quiet for a Wednesday afternoon appointment which was a bonus. I appreciated the pre drawing to see the design first hand before applying to my skin. I got to create design changes with him which was really appreciated. I highly recommend the shop and artist for some terrific pieces of work. I went back and waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged and was quickly dismissed and told that I need to clean my jewelry and using saline (what I've used to clean my piercings for the past 7 years as most people do) is what's causing more grime to enter the jewelry . They told me to purchase an ultra sonic machine off Amazon and after I did so and used it a few times, over the course of two weeks, my jewelry only oxidized further. Had to buy new jewelry from another local place and they confirmed that this happens when the jewelry is low quality. I feel like I wasted my money replacing my jewelry twice within 2 months and I felt brushed off when I came looking for answers.

I travelled into delray for a vaction, But mostly to remember my brother mike who recently passed. One thing on the list to do was getting a tattoo in honor of mike. I was given this shop name by the locals saying you can't go wrong with any of the artist as they are all amazing. I walked into open arms . the shop is welcoming with extremely friendly , genuine, caring staff willing to listen to your story and what your looking for. I started passing through the different portfolios and quickly got drawn into brandons work. I dont know how he did it so well, but he captured everything i never knew i wanted. The care and detail is easily seen in his work. For someone who never met me or my brother this piece screams mike as well as it being absolutely beautuful. The colors are stunning . Its an honor to wear such a beautiful piece that is so close to my heart. I will continue to travel to this shop and see Brandon so he can continue the beautiful artwork he has started . I'm sure the trained tattoo artists are very friendly and professional but if you are just a regular human being walking in to ask a few questions be prepared to be "greeted" with a black haired, bad teethed mean human overall. I got a tattoo done recently and live right next door to this place and decided to walk over AND TALK TO A PROFESSIONAL about my healing on one of my tattoos and she gave me a stuck up attitude making me feel stupid for coming in & overall putting a very bad taste in my mouth about this hole in the wall, corner of the alley way sketchy ass business to begin with. Saying to me "I don't know why they would do it in that colour unless you asked them to" I obviously chose the colour of my tattoo....... Overall the people who are actually tattoo artists are probably good people but the emo bimbo at the front would have better success at McDonald's. read more

My mom and I got matching tattoos as a gift to her-- it was her first, so I wanted the experience to be totally perfect. I went to Big Kahuna after lots of research, and we ended up working with Paul and Jason. They were friendly and professional, and the artwork turned out amazingly. During the process I told Jason that I was feeling faint, and they couldn't have handled it better. They were extremely calming, and quickly got me a soda and a cool rag to help the feeling pass. I've been wanting to get a tattoo done to symbolize me and my babies and have been searching for the perfect tattoo artist! (I also wanted a woman to do it) and I was told about Nicole Lee by a friend! After texting her and letting her know what I wanted she worked something up for me! My favorite tattoo spot in Florida. The staff is helpful but also honest about each design you present them. I came to Nick with a basic tattoo a few months ago and then came back because I liked his work. I brought him an idea and he turned it into a masterpiece. Big Kahuna Tattoo is by far the best Tattoo Shop in South Florida. I have been going there for years and I am now covered in tattoos and piercings. Jason is my artist and Miah has done all of my piercings. This shop offers custom artists and piercers. It also offers a very clean environment and great customer service. Can't say enough good things about Big Kahuna! I've been going there for the past 5 years to get pierced by Jeremiah and would never go anywhere else. He is the best- very knowledgeable and gentle. I've gotten quite a few piercings from him, most recently my industrial, and all have healed great. My friend and I both got ear piercings from Jermiah. He was super nice, talked us through the piercing process and the aftercare process, and definitely let stick together and calmed our nerves. The chair we sat in was a little worn but all the equipment was super clean and sterile and he made our piercings even and adjusted them lower when we asked. 100% recommend to anyone getting a piercing. read more
