We just had to cancel a cruise for the 1st time using insurance on Virgin the night b4. Lisa walked us through the process and resubmitted multiple times due to the insurance carriers many hoops you have to jump through to get your money back. It took almost 2 months, but we got everything back but the pre-booking "sailor loot" the insurance company doesn't have to pay that to you as a cruise line promo. When I got there I gave my name to the secretary and from the shitty box from the corner opposite of the room he says, "Not good, 12 points?" Okay, yes, I had a shitton of points, but even then, you don't just oust someone's status. The old man agent came out and was completely fucking rude to me. I decided to go with AAA because they're so helpful with roadside assistance. The agent comes with the paperwork and there's several pages and explanations and I don't even get a FUCKING chair to sit in. I had to be on my knees at the reception area. All in all, Michigan has some of the rudest people and AAA Insurance Customer Service is fucking terrible. I'm glad that I don't live in that shithole podunk area anymore.
