We had an absolutely incredible experience with C Ponies, and I can't recommend them enough--especially if you're looking for something unique, meaningful, and truly unforgettable. What makes this experience so special goes far beyond just "riding horses on the beach." These are rescue horses--many of them coming from difficult or neglectful situations--and C Ponies has created something really beautiful by giving them a second chance at life. You can feel how deeply loved and well cared for these horses are. They are healthy, happy, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. One of the most fascinating parts was learning that the water is actually healing for them. Being in the ocean supports their joints and overall wellness, so this experience isn't just fun for us--it's beneficial for them, too. That alignment made the entire experience feel even more special and ethical. Our guide, Raina, was fantastic. She had the perfect mix of humor (yes, some delightfully corny jokes), warmth, and knowledge. More importantly, you could tell she truly loves these horses and what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable, safe, and engaged the entire time. Walking the horses into the water--and even getting to experience them swimming--was surreal. Each horse had its own personality, which made it even more fun. You could tell they were relaxed, confident, and happy to be there. It didn't feel forced or transactional--it felt like a partnership between humans and animals. Living in Sarasota, it also meant a lot to support a business that is doing such meaningful work in our own SW Florida community. C Ponies is not only creating unforgettable experiences, but they are actively rescuing, rehabilitating, and giving these horses a life filled with purpose and care. If you're on the fence--book it. It's one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after it's over.

It's open year-round, which is amazing, and it had such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our kids especially loved walking our friend's dog around the market, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. We also found a great pet vendor and picked up some treats. The food vendors were all really strong. The empanada truck was delicious, we tried pink pineapple for the first time, and we also had some guacamole and chips that were definitely pricey but absolutely worth it. There's a huge variety of vendors, and we barely got through a fraction of them. I'd love to go back on an empty stomach next time and really explore everything properly. If we lived nearby, I could easily see this becoming a regular weekend stop.

It runs from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. & serves as a community hub with live music, offering everything from fresh fruits and baked goods to handmade crafts and international foods, while supporting local farms & businesses. I left with bags of beautiful tomatoes, Romaine, bananas, zucchini... the artisan, breads, and pastries were as beautiful as the flowers. Happily the farmers market discounts foods 50% with EBT card . We passed lots of beautiful dogs.

It's small, but the food is phenomenal. They also have raw fish. You can buy my next visit, I'll be trying the haddock and the clam dinner service was great. The shop is located in a shopping mall so there is plenty of parking. The shop is made for lunch. It is small and there is seating inside and out its not meant for a very large party. On a positive note, they have a multitude of seafood sandwiches and lunch options to enjoy a nice meal. I saw photos of lobster rolls on yelp, so I got the lobster roll. It was so good. Packed with lobster and the bread was delicious. My son and husband got the red snapper sandwich blackened with fries. We were also able to try their clam chowder (delicious) as well as their key lime pie (i am unsure if it's made there but it was very good). The cashier was sweet. The staff made sure that we were happy with the food and for a small cafe I can't ask for anything else. Great lunch spot especially if you want a feel for the keys or some delicious seafood.
