I went to my regular dentist, and was told that it wasn't tooth number 3 wasn't the issue, it was tooth NUMBER 4! I had that done by another dentist and he had to extract the tooth. I am definitely not pleased with Sahni, and I still had to pay him $1,000 for the botched procedure.

Now im thinking i should have just gone in coughing and sneezing to share with everyone. The phone receptionist was rude from the begining with her tone of voice informing me that I would get a 50.00 charge because i didnt call over the weekend and leave a voice mail or text telling a machine that I was sick and had to cancel my 4:00 appointment for the following monday. This made no sense to me and i questioned why calling when they were closed would have been better than calling in the am the day of. Regardless of the silly policy, she argued with me like I was a child and was doing something wrong and needed reprimanded. Then she said i was yelling at her which was impossible because i had a raw, hoarse voice from coughing all weekend. I work in the medical field and when my patient calls off due to illness, i voice concern for their well being, i do not berate them for not knowing or understanding their policy. She made me feel like I was a child and I do not appreciate that from someone who is the face and voice of a respected practice.

Disclaimer: This review is for before Dr. Hans took over the practice, since I moved out of state. Hans Family Dental is the new name for Dr. Broadbent's practice (who has since retired). I give them 5 starts for the super friendly staff and exceptional, high-quality service they provide. I had used them for around 8 years for cleaning and a wisdom tooth extraction. My dental hygienist was Jamie. Her cleaning and checkup is great: she takes the time to remove all plaque through a detailed and *gentle* scraping, brushing, then flossing. She inspects it again and then scrapes again if necessary. I would almost fall asleep during my visits. The office has modern equipment, unlike some other places I've been in the past. Their bitewing x-rays are digital, so they get an instant x-ray picture on a computer monitor in front of you and the dental hygienist. The front desk staff really cares for their patients and here's a story to prove it: One time, I was in the emergency room and ran into Sue. We chatted for a bit and went our ways. A few days later, I got a get well card in the mail with a hand written note wishing me a quick recovery! It's rare to find businesses with staff like this one! This is an important to decisions that not thought through can leave you toothless, temporarily toothless, or cost more in the long run.
