Their communication from the start was superb! I had so many questions and other house maintenance appointments going on but they worked with me on a game plan especially since it had been raining so much lately and having to reschedule. I requested a first time service with overgrown grass and their quote wasn't bad at all. I got some quotes from other businesses but they kept adding on extra things whereas abc lawn care included cut, trimming, edging and blowing. I feel that they gave a more than fair price for these results! I was told that because the lawn was damp from previous rain and because it was overgrown that it wasn't as clean as usual maintenance which I completely understand. I am so happy with their work! I really wanted to see lines or that checkered pattern and I got it! I definitely recommend and they offer different forms of payment for whatever is most convenient for you and overall great communication! I hired this company to install a landscaping bed/retaining wall based on a written quote, and the…read moreexperience quickly went downhill. What was estimated as an 8-10 hour job dragged into a second day with minimal meaningful progress, but the bigger issue was the quality of the work itself. The wall was visibly not level, which is a fundamental requirement for a project like this and not something that should ever be in question. Even more concerning was the complete lack of proper base preparation--on the first day, blocks were placed directly without any appropriate base at all. After I raised concerns, they returned the second day with sand, but then mixed it with mulch and used that as the foundation, which is simply not an acceptable or stable method for a retaining wall. On top of that, I purchased materials based on the contractor's estimate, only to be told later that the quantity was significantly wrong due to an error in his measuring app, leaving me with a large and unnecessary overage. When I brought these issues up, instead of taking accountability or presenting a clear plan to fix the problems, the response shifted toward blaming communication. At that point, it was clear the project was not going to be completed to an acceptable standard, and I made the decision to stop the work entirely. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company.
