The process is simple and efficient using group workshops for understanding followed by personal one-on-one attention with the attorneys. The best part is the ongoing education opportunities that are available, some related to estate planning and others related to other senior citizen issues or topics. Not only have we been educated but our named executors have also been educated on their responsibilities upon our death. We joined the Red Wagon Club which, for a monthly fee, offers free access to attorneys/staff, free modifications to our plan, as well as offers educational and social opportunities. We find this to be a good value. We feel we understand our estate plan better than we ever have in the past in large part due to the personal approach and continued education. That understanding helps us make good decisions as we open new accounts or make changes to how we want our assets distributed upon death in the least costly way possible. When handling funds held in escrow to pay any outstanding water bills to the city, the least they could have done is to check with me to see if the bill was correct. The water authority sent a bill that was not correct and was covering up for mistakes on they made on the account, the DMKCG firm just paid it - no communication to check on the validity and without any concern for the use of the escrow funds. Despite weekly follow-up calls OVER THE PAST 5 MONTHS, she has done neither, and I must now go downtown and file a motion to be seen by a judge to ask that she be removed from my divorce filing.
