Infinity Homes and Remodeling was contracted for a whole house renovation in 2020/2021. We made repeated attempts to address everything from Summit County code /permit violations to construction quality issues --- to this day we had and still have water leakage in newly installed windows. Despite documentation and photos -- some issues were eventually resolved months and even a year later, others were not. We have incurred the cost to address issues ourselves despite Infinity Homes being paid in full for the faulty work. We contracted this company for 2 major home renovations within 3 years. We will never understand how this second project went so poorly. We learned a lot and one thing we will not do again -- trust a contractor with the expectation they would make things right. Check the contract for payments tied to key deliverables i.e. inspections/ approvals and work has been completed to manufacturer instructions, subs are reputable and licensed, proper permitting, building codes and county inspections are followed, completed and timely. Summit County Building Standards Department was an excellent resource to help educate us and understand county requirements and what we needed to do to obtain final approvals.

Our deck of Wolmanized wood was put up in 1989 and seems sound. The Final Coat Co. applied a…read morepaint-like light gray stain in 2019 that I recall them saying would last 20 or more years. It began flaking immediately. They touched it up 3 times, but it just kept on flaking. I gave up, but now we wanted to sell our house, and it looked awful (see photos). The Final Coat told me it was out of warranty and was not their problem. I offered to split the cost with them in some manner, as I realize it's been 5 years now. They told me they would only redo it for full price. I had Deck Rescue redo it, it cost $1800, and our deck now looks fine. If The Final Coat had told me it would cost $3600 to redo and they would split it with me, I would have paid them the $1800. I also think that after retouching 3 times in 2019 they should have checked back with me to see if it was alright. If you are considering using Final Coat, I would think twice about it.

Chenko and Lutty are all of those things - I thank god I found them. I've hired Chris and Kyle to do so many projects for me, each project more intricate and better results than the last which is why I keep coming back. They can do it all!!!!! 1st: Basement carpet and drop ceiling tear out and paint. 2nd: Drywall tear out, gas and water lines set back into the wall, new plumbing in the ceiling leading outside at two points and to an upstairs sink, electrical lines reran and outlets placed elsewhere. 3rd: kitchen backsplash tear out and re-tiled as well as new dishwasher install. 4th: 2600 sq ft of old laminate and vinyl flooring removed, floors leveled, and 2600 sq ft of new luxury vinyl plank laid AND every inch of trim in house torn out and replaced - baseboard trim and door trim. I'm currently on their books for a 5th project - custom built in bookshelves around my fireplace. I'm honestly perplexed at how anyone could leave them a one star review unless they had unrealistic expectations and/or didn't listen to Chris and Kyles recommendations who are the experts.
