Front desk, Spoke to Dominique-rude snappy and condescending, and cut me off, rolling her eyes. It was like she didn't want to be bothered helping the customer. When trying to ask when my daughter was eligible for her appointment, this was the front desk staff. Brought my child for appointment, the store kept the appointment and did not tell us to come back 2 weeks later when both our benefits would be eligible. After the exam, they told us there was an 100 dollar charge copay. This should have NEVER been a charge. They should have verified benefits completely, and notified before the exam, not after that it would be a charge. Then we would have had the option to do it a later date. I spoke to Kristina assistant manager-also argumentative and condescending, who would not give me a number or contact information to the manager or district manager. And when I described the behavior of her employees at the store and what they looked like, black female in her 20's, she got defensive and upset. It's your job as management to manage your employees that are considering, interrupting and rude. Kristina told me to google the number if I wanted to speak to a manager!!!! I called back to let them know the instructions they gave my daughter for contacts we NOT legible. See the picture. Also, my husband was supposed to be able to order contacts fully covered by insurance the day of the appointment. He said yes he wanted contacts ordered, but they were not!! So now we have ru pay completely out of pocket. This place is fraudulent. Don't use them. The staff is rude, and charges you without verifying your consent or insurance coverage. How can you say people owe you when they were told before the appointment that they were covered??? Don't go here. Dominique and Kristina employees should not be here. read more

Disappointed with the personnel that work at this location. Not the eye doctors but the eyeglass fitters whatever you would call them twice. They lied to me. I just picked up my new glasses. I tried buying a second pair exactly like I had bought a couple years prior. They looked it up. Said discontinued can't get them no more. Have a good day. They gave me the modeling number and the sizes just so I can check around with other places. The first place I checked was Dunkirk my eye doctor who gets the same supplier they look it up so yep we got them. We ordered it put your lenses in. I paid Dunkirk and they're going to send it down to Prince Frederick to have them hand them to me. This is the second time. As I mentioned the first time I came in couple much powdered in my visit looking for sunglasses. They had a nice pair of Ray-Bans that I really liked. Come back for my glasses that day. They only had the straight legs not the curved legs told me. Sorry, I picked a pair of Maui Jim's today. When I go to pick up my Maui Jim's they got the Ray-Bans that I liked. My glasses broke this past week and I have never been very happy with my old optometrist office, so I gave this place a shot when I saw an opening. Loved all the staff there, in and out in probably 45mins and only cost $230 for exam, frames, lenses, and one year warranty. My mom was with me and was so impressed that she's switching there too. Recently had an eye exam and ordered a pair of glasses. I was shocked at the cost. $298 for the exam and $300 for a pair of ordinary glasses. Probably my fault for not asking more questions. I will definitely be aware if i go there again. read more

I booked an appointment for this morning on-line. When I showed up, they said they were double booked and had to cancel my appointment. First, they claimed that they left two voice mails on my cell phone. I have no messages. Then, when I asked them to confirm the phone number, they gave my wife's cell phone number and claimed they left two messages on her cell phone. She received no voice mails. Further, they kept emphasizing that I scheduled on-line and was shown as a new patient. I am a returning patient - and somehow they got my wife's information confused with mine. I suggest that you try another eye doctor. If you do disregard my suggestion, don't book on-line. read more

UPDATE: While I was waiting for the second appointment, the manager took the time to contact the corporate office for clarification on the scheduling policy. She admitted that she was not quite correct and that the scheduling policy precluded them from scheduling either 3 or 4 family members back-to-back, not 2. I understand their reasoning behind that, since they will lose an hour of business if the appointments don't show up or if they cancel last minute. I was very happy with the resolution before I left and should have updated my review sooner. While service was great, their corporate policy of not seeing two family members back-to-back is ridiculous, especially when you call to make the appointment, request back-to-back appointments, and they tell you they are. Then, when you get to the office and they have someone scheduled between you because their "corporate policy" is not to make family appointments back-to-back or to see more than 3 family members in one day. This policy really needs to be reevaluated. Not only is in inconvenient for families, it's far less efficient for the staff. read more

I went in for an eye exam and to get some new glasses. I had a great experience! The doctor was very professional and super informative. They took some pictures of the inside of my eyes for an extra cost of $15 (after insurance) and I was able to see the pictures while the doctor walked me through what the little details in each meant. She was more than happy to educate me on what different things meant and was very patient with my obviously limited knowledge of my own eyes. I was able to pick out some new frames from lots of options, and the staff was very helpful getting them ordered. Everyone was super friendly. They have tons of frames in different price ranges and styles. Overall the experience was excellent! read more

While I really enjoyed the professionalism and efficiency of the doctor, it's clear that this place is trying to get every dime out of it's customers. First, I went in wanting to get a basic exam and an updated prescription. I was told that I still had a small remainder of an eye infection I had treated a month prior (even though it was not bothering me and you could not see an sign of an infection). I was prescribed eye drops and told to come back in the next week. When I came back in, the doctor examined me and told me that everything was fine and I could stop using the drops. The entire "appointment" took less than 10 minutes. On my way out, I was told that the "follow-up" cost $90. This was in addition to the $95 exam I had already paid for the week prior. There was no previous indication that I would have to pay additional for something I'm pretty sure didn't need to be treated in the first place. I also ordered a pair of glasses online, and the company had to call this office to get my prescription. MyEyeDr gave the company a completely inaccurate prescription. Now, I have to go and get RE-examined so that they can correct it. Not a chance I'll continue my business with them, though. I'd rather go to another establishment and start fresh then continue this headache. read more

I like this office, I've seen two doctors here and both were through and provided a good prescription. Each member of the staff was friendly and helpful. They priced out my choices so I could get the best value from my insurance, their store specials and the coupons which are available from time to time on the MyEyeDr website. I'm only in town in weekends, but choose to come to this office rather then the MyEyeDr near my weekday house. read more

Preface... my daughter is getting married Labor Day weekend and I don't want to be wearing glasses in photos so my past appointment was specifically made for contacts. It took me 2 classes before I was successful with putting them in my eyes and getting them back out. Needless to say, the office staff at this location is amazing... they are friendly, pleasant and patient! When practicing with them at home for the first time, I made it a point to do so on a day they were open so I could stop by and make sure I could get them out. Documentation provided with your receipt says "Your order will be ready on ____." To bad company doesn't stand by what they put in writing. If you are in an emergency for glasses or even are expecting them in a timely fashion, not the place to go unless you have a month to wait for a pair of glasses because their lab continues to break the lenses for your glasses. read more

Had eyes examined and purchased new glasses. New glasses caused double vision in left lens. Returned glasses to have them inspected within a week thinking they were ground wrong. Was told no problem found and no refunds can be issued. Whenever I hear NO REFUNDS it says a lot about the company and product. read more

Went to this Company for a Prescription and Eye Exam and to purchase a second pair of Eyeglasses ! Well my first pair that I had did finally break so I switched to the Pair I got at My Eye Doctor ! After about 11 months of not using them . After looking in the mirror I noticed that the film on the inside was cracking and causing a glare so I went back to them and they said it was not covered and I would have to purchase another pair ! I do not recommend this Business seems like they just want your money and wont stand behind there product. I also asked for a copy of my Prescription and was told it had expired and I would have to get another one .
