When trying to ask when my daughter was eligible for her appointment, this was the front desk staff. Brought my child for appointment, the store kept the appointment and did not tell us to come back 2 weeks later when both our benefits would be eligible. After the exam, they told us there was an 100 dollar charge copay. This should have NEVER been a charge. They should have verified benefits completely, and notified before the exam, not after that it would be a charge. Then we would have had the option to do it a later date. I spoke to Kristina assistant manager-also argumentative and condescending, who would not give me a number or contact information to the manager or district manager. And when I described the behavior of her employees at the store and what they looked like, black female in her 20's, she got defensive and upset. It's your job as management to manage your employees that are considering, interrupting and rude. Kristina told me to google the number if I wanted to speak to a manager!!!! I called back to let them know the instructions they gave my daughter for contacts we NOT legible. See the picture. Also, my husband was supposed to be able to order contacts fully covered by insurance the day of the appointment. He said yes he wanted contacts ordered, but they were not!! So now we have ru pay completely out of pocket. This place is fraudulent. Don't use them. The staff is rude, and charges you without verifying your consent or insurance coverage. How can you say people owe you when they were told before the appointment that they were covered??? Don't go here. Dominique and Kristina employees should not be here.

Of course they are extremely thorough in preparing for eye surgery and I am very fortunate that they are. One eye was done and a month later the other eye was corrected. The follow-up care was here at the Prince Frederick office. It was easy to get an appointment and they have a great online system for reminders and confirmation. When you arrive you text them and they text you back when it is appropriate to enter the building. All the normal covid rules are being followed. I've been here three times and was seen on time for each appointment. I've been very pleased with the care I've been getting and all the staff with whom I've interacted have been pleasant and professional.

My mom visited PV recently (about 2 weeks ago) and got her annual exam. I instructed my mom to also ask for her PUPILLARY DISTANCE measurement while there. Pearle Vision REFUSED to give it to her because she was not getting her glasses at this location. She told them she has always bought glasses with PV, and though it has been 3 years since she bought some of your costly frames, she is a long-standing PV customer. Her finances no longer allow her the luxury of $400-$500 frames with prescriptions from your store. Again it was reiterated that PV will withhold measuring her pupils to ensure she gets her prescription filled with JUST THEM. That is a shame! My mom has been a loyal customer for years; she needs the PD # so she can buy some more affordable glasses (I intend on purchasing her an extra pair or two online). She PAID for the eye exam but not having a PD means she cannot purchase online, MORE AFFORDABLE glasses. Yes, she can just Google "how to get your pupillary distance" and do it herself, but why should she have to do that when the employees at PV already know how to do it? My mother is never coming back. I am sure PV's treatment of her has been the talk of conversation in the retirement home (where nearly 100 senior citizens reside) all week! Look how many customers PEARLE VISION could have had by doing something as simple as giving a customer her PD number. Well, if you are reading this--there is a SOLUTION... The WALMART SUPER-CENTER in California, MD will ABSOLUTELY give you your PD with an eye exam! In fact, even though my mother has already paid for her eye exam at Pearle Vision, they said if my mom comes in, they will measure her eyes (as PEARLE VISION SHOULD HAVE AND COULD HAVE DONE) for her for free! THAT is the personification of customer service!! My mom told EVERYONE in her building how kind Jenna was at WALMART and even though she did not purchase from Walmart Vision, they impressed her with their customer service. Shame on you, Pearle Vision. You lost a lifelong customer, and potentially an entire apartment complex of new clients because "your company policy" is to withhold a simple measurement (in an effort to FORCE a customer to only purchase from you). Cynthia in the billing department is very rude and could care less about assisting you with questions regarding your bill or if it is correct. I received an incorrect bill due to Weinstein submitting to the wrong insurance. I called and spoke with Cynthia who very rudely stated it was billed correctly and my balance was correct.
