What was supposed to take 3-4 weeks took over 9 weeks with over a 1/2 dozen excuses over that period of extra time, & although I was offered a free pair of glasses as compensation, which I accepted, & specified a certain type of lens (basic sunglasses, not prescription) & picked out a frame that fit well, what I got was a damaged demo/display frame & a cheap imitation substitute brand lens. Their excuse was, the sunglasses were complimentary... & now I have to spend yet another ~3 hours driving to & from to try to get that fixed, with no guarantees. If I had only known... next time, I'm going elsewhere to a (more) reputable & competent facility!

I called and scheduled an exam for the 3 days away. The person who scheduled it was very friendly. Once I arrived, I went to where they did the testing and again was greeted great. Without a doubt, this place has a great attitude and great customer service. They get you in and out without rushing the process. I see eye doctors every year for over 20 years, and they were thorough every step of the process.The doctor was professional and spoke in a way I could understand. After the exam, I went to the front of the store and picked out the glasses. One pair is my main progressive lenses. The free second pair is my sunglasses with a single lens for being out in the sun and driving. They were an active store with customers coming in and out, but the 3 representatives moved through the list quickly.

In 2024, I called for a new appt with Dr. Murphy but was told by the General Manager, Robbie Holland, that I now owed an additional $95 because I failed to purchase contact lenses through Salisbury Optical in the months AFTER my appointment. Extremely surprised and disappointed that months later, Salisbury Optical general manager would attempt to increase the amount owed for their services.

First, the office staff is professional, kind, thorough, pleasant. Dr Jaoude provided excellent explanations and was very reassuring. The surgery center was also great care. All in all, a procedure I was dreading was problem-free. Best of all my vision is so much improved I can't believe it!
