When I walked in, I was greeted right away and she took my glasses to the back to replace the pad. When she brought them back out, she noticed they weren't sitting quite right on my face and immediately went back to adjust them. Attention to detail and I didn't even have to ask! I've gone to many other places, but Dr Todd was the only one that got me the perfect contact lenses match. I've mentioned the discomfits I've had with other brand to other optometrist locations with no avail to having the right fit of contacts so I've had to wear glasses most of my life. One day I decided to switch over to Shettle vision with recommendation from my sister. My first visit I told doc what discomforts I've had with contacts and would like to have contact so can do activities without the worries of my glasses flying off my face. Doc Todd suggested a brand I try out. Let me tell you, it only took one visit for me to get the right contacts without any discomfort. This is why I've been going to Shettle Vision for years. After waiting two weeks, I called to check on my glasses and learned they had already been in for several days. When I picked them up, I discovered the prescription was incorrect and could not see properly through them. I understand mistakes happen, and I appreciated how professionally the issue was handled. However, the frames also ended up being much larger than I wanted. Although I did try them on, I relied on the guidance provided when making my selection. The replacement glasses arrived with what I understood to be the corrected prescription, but unfortunately they still do not seem right, as I have to squint to see my computer screen clearly. Overall, while my experience with the people was positive, I am disappointed with the final product. Given that I paid nearly $800, I expected both clear vision and glasses that suited my face.

confirmed that they are in-network with my insurance company only to be told--after driving in…read moretraffic to make it here early as requested by them--that they were going to charge me $80-100 for a contact lens fitting that my level of coverage, in-network, pays in full. they could not explain why they wouldn't cover this, since they *are* in-network, they just told me they were going to charge me and i could take it up with insurance for a reimbursement check if i wanted. it's ridiculous they think they can pick and choose what in-network services they feel like covering, and they don't even communicate that over the phone when i specifically asked. definitely planning on calling insurance to inform them of this. i would look elsewhere before wasting your time here.
