Dr. Cressey spent more time with me than my previous Optometrist, and took time to find out about my family history and my concerns. She also informed me about Lasik surgery, which I'd been curious about. Be very wary when you sit down with Dr. Bui to review your insurance…read more Sad to admit, I experienced bad customer service this month as I did 3 years ago. I was examined for BOTH eye glasses and contacts fittings even though I told Dr. Bui that I was specifically here for a new eye glasses rx (I don't know the difference in procedures between the 2 types of exams). I paid $70 for the contacts exam because both exams are not covered by my insurance in the same year. Prior to my visit, I had another 6 months of an active contacts rx, I just didn't bring it with me at the time of the visit. I advise future customers to be very cautious and don't be tricked like me into paying him for something I didn't need in the first place. Dr. Bui is a bad businessman, he did not agree to take back my rx and return my money, or offer another solution. If the location is convenient for you, I think that Dr. Bui is very charismatic (however do not fall for that), he is a very good optometrist too: he is quick in his work. I did take my rx to Target because they have way more options for frames covered by my insurance.

My daughter who just turned 4 has been going here to see Dr. Amita Bhatt when she was just 2 months…read moreold because our peditrician saw that her eye crossing seemed to be more than your typical new baby crossing. We continued to see her a few more times till she was 6months and her crossing had not cleared but become more easily definable and the appointments were uppped to try to get good measurements till she was 9 months and Dr Bhatt performed surgery on both eyes (she had infantile esotropia) and we saw amazing results within days of the surgery. We still continue to see her every 6 months and every appointment it amazes me how patient she is and how sweet she is with the kids, she is one of the reasons my daughter has no fear of doctors or hospitals and we look forward to seeing her every time. Dr. Bhatt was also great and had even asked us if we wanted to get a second opinion when she could tell we were worried and even gave us a list of doctors she recommended. The staff there as well were amazing, between the assistants who perform the tests ahead of time and take down our information to the staff that schedule appointments and helped us go over what to expect when it came time to scheduling for surgery. We highly recommend the office!

Doctors are mostly competent and skilled if you can get through to make appointment. Rude staff also wont let you use the stairs to go up to third floor if you have appointment with them, probably violating a safety code. Not sure they realize there are many other nearby eye care locations that focus on patients experience.

The optician has rushed us through every single time...and with my child being the one to get glasses, this makes even more of a difference. Not only are we always rushed, but on the very first visit I asked to make sure that the lenses would be scratch resistant. I always make sure that my glasses have the antiglare and scratch resistance, why would I not for my small child? Young kids aren't nearly as careful as adults are, and are more active. Yet, nope. They were never ordered that way, and hundreds of dollars on glasses and they are basically junk. All of this hassle of back and forth, and my daughter missing school to fix these mistakes, and still not what we asked for. Taking an extra minute or two even on the initial visit would have made all the difference. I have never done a YELP review (that I remember), but when you spend hundreds of dollars on a medical device, you deserve some quality and care.
