Dr. Ali has helped me through life threatening conditions, ongoing chronic and acute care requiring hours of referrals, going to bat with specialists, working with my pharmacist and all the while keeping me in the loop. His staff are the best and always make me feel welcome and cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Ali and thank him so much for being my doctor. But the clinic has 2 problems. Says it's a Walk In but they do everything in their power not to let you walk in. I don't mind waiting, I inderstand they're busy and I need to wait when I walk in. But sometimes unforeseen health issues can happen over night or the day before and you need a walk in. The second problem is one of the receptionists. Bad attitude, you always feel like you're a nuisance she can't wait to get rid of. Very cold and detached, borderline rude. Once she made me state outloud I had a UTI infront of a patient.. She kept asking me to say it louder .Has zero sensibility. She has nothing to do in the healthcare business. If it wasn't for the receptionist and the lack of walk in access, this clinic would be a 5 star.

There were a few others in the waiting room ahead of me but I was told that the wait would be about 45 minutes which isn't too bad for a walk-in. Sure enough, I was in and out pretty much 45 minutes later! Everyone I encountered was friendly and polite. The doctor seemed like he was in a bit of a rush (I didn't get his name and he wasn't wearing a name tag) but he was thorough and quick in examining me. He provided some treatment and we discussed it a bit and then I was on my way again. Overall, pleasant experience (other than me being sick in the first place).

Just want to say this clinic is the worst walk in clinic I have ever experienced in the province or any other. Wait times are ludicrous(the emergency room wait is shorter on average.) Every single time any of us goes there we leave wondering why the hell we bothered?? The reception staff are all some if the rudest women I have ever encountered and really should not be working with patients in any way. Very insensitive and just mean spirited people. All the doctors are the laziest people I have ever met, but Dr. Collette takes the cake. Barely utters a word when he walks in. Doesn't bother to listen to anything you say and makes you feel like an idiot who has nothing wrong with you (whem any other MD says otherwise) or diagnoses the wrong thing because he rushes to throw drugs at you so he can go and sit in the back for 5 hours until he wanders into the next room to screw up his next patient. So unless every other medical centre in Canada is closed, save yourself 4 useless hours of your life and go anywhere else!

Went for knee pain, he…read morebasically convinced me to NOT ask for an MRI, several months later go in for same problem and he reads from HIS notes that I REFUSED an MRI. Claim ends up thru WCB, after literally months of back and forth trying to get them to simply give the file to WCB I find out that in my file he had written down the wrong knee having issues! Apparently they can't accept email, everything has to be by fax?! They said they never got faxes, never got letters, even after I could confirm that they did. Go get the MRI, I call them a week later to ask if they got it... they tell me no, but the doctor will call me right after they get it... the next day WCB calls they got it on the Friday before and have already had a doctor write a report. I give Excel 3 more days, I call and they lie to me saying they only got the MRI yesterday! Doctor still hasn't called. It's not just a single doctor, it seems they have their front staff lying to clients and very hard to work with. I emailed them asking if they would take a complaint before I posted this.... they haven't bother to respond.

Can't recommend at all…read more I made an appointment to have a back injury examined. I arrived early, yet waited an hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time had passed before my name was called. Then I'm taken back to one of the patients' rooms and have to wait another 30 minutes before the dr. comes in. After explaining my issue and history with back problems, and how I've never had any sort of scan performed to get a deeper understanding of what might be the cause, I'm told to take muscle relaxants, watch physio videos on YouTube, and wait to see what happens. Wow, I should've been a doctor... Even after confirming my name when he walked in, the dr mistakenly pulls up another patient's information on his computer and is glancing at that throughout the visit, mentioning how I've been on another medication previously for pain (which is not correct because he's not looking at my file). All this is realized as I'm walking to the pharmacy afterwards however, as I was ultimately handed a prescription with someone else's name and insurance info on it. So, I've just been told about another patient's personal medical history with pain meds and have the ability to use his name and insurance to get a prescription... By this point the dr had already began assisting another patient, so I'm told by staff to wait AGAIN until he's finished so the prescription can be corrected!! Brilliant. Decided I had enough of my time wasted and walked out. Stunned by the mismanagement and inefficiency of this clinic.

Not only has she taken a great care of my family's health, but also she is a very nice person to talk to every appointment. It is rear to find a doctor that combines such a personal touches and care for a patient as a person with out standing quality of medical care. This clinic is large with numerous doctors and a pharmacy next door. The waiting room has comfortable seats, a TV, current magazines and hand sanitizers available. The front staff at this clinic are warm, friendly and very helpful. Something I'm not familiar with since I find the opposite at Calgary clinics. The doctor that saw me was great. I made an initial appointment looking for a new physician. They set me up with a Dr. and it was a "meet and greet" appointment with the Dr to see if it's a good fit. Love this idea and something that I have never encountered. At the initial appointment, we chatted about my health, concerns and all that other good stuff. It was very relaxing and not rushed at all. The Dr recommended I make another appointment to come back to do an initial exam and all that other good stuff like blood work so we can start off fresh as patient - Dr. A great first experience and looking forward to coming back and having a new Dr in #YYC. This will be my new go-to clinic and I'm happy to find an excellent Dr who really listens.
