Loose Leaf Tea, gluten free donut
    Amanda V.

Service was okay. Interior was alright. It could be a bit cleaner. It's an okay cafe/ coffee shop to sit and work. The gluten free donut I got was a bit stale. Not much street parking or parking in general in this area of town.

    Bacon and egg biscuit

Amazing, 10/10. Make sure you get food too, absolutely delicious. I got the simple bacon and egg biscuit sandwich and it was the best I've ever had! Don't know how you can make something I've had a million times taste like it's the first time I've ever had it! Everyone else is doing it wrong.

Every time I stop by Mylo, they remind me why I keep coming back. The staff is consistently warm and genuinely friendly; it feels like they actually enjoy seeing their customers walk in. The coffee is always top-tier, smooth, balanced, and brewed with real attention, no matter how busy they are. That kind of consistency is rare, and they deliver it every single visit. If you want a spot in Little Rock that gets both service and quality right, this is it. $8 for coffee in Little Rock makes me feel like I'm back in NY - with the insane surcharge

Older established/developed 'upscale' neighborhood, generously sized establishment of red brick and wood flooring, wall art/graffiti, open view kitchen (you can see/hear the cook cracking REAL eggs) with plenty of indoor seating and numerous outside bistro seats. The menu includes (real shelled egg) breakfast and (famous?) bakery/scone items, as well as boutique coffee/espresso/beverage items. The staff clearly are engaged (in their work), with 'ownership' pride. Should there be a mistake--accommodation is executed promptly. DOWNside, parking (of course)

Oh my goodness, this place is super cute inside and out. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Cool vibe. They make most of their flavored syrups from scratch. We had the hot Lavendar Latte and a Cortada. The southwest veggie burrito was scrumptious. Everything is delicious and made from scratch. No wonder this place is a Hillcrest staple. We will be back!

Best matcha in little rock, and they have really nice employees. Location is in a great area!

The cutest coffee shop! Plenty of seating, great service and everything I got was great. An Apple Carmel iced chai and an oatmeal cream pie muffin.

Fantastic vibe and coffee. The lattes are always tasty and the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit is one of my favorite breakfast food items in any Little Rock establishment. The staff there behind the counter are always super nice and genuine. Sitting by one of the many windows facing Kavanaugh is people-watching heaven. Most likely my favorite coffee spot in central Arkansas.

Service was wonderful and my cranberry turkey sandwich was HUGE and served with the most amazing pickled onions I've EVER had!! My only encouragement to the menu would be to consider adding chips to your sandwiches as a side for an extra $1 maybe? Phenomenal sandwich, coffee, and service. Loved it.

Brown butter fig muffin was delicious - interesting combo, haven't come across that in a café before. Cappuccino was okay.

I've personally worked my way through most of the menu over time, so I was excited for them to try it. It was around 9am so it was still fairly quiet and calm. Believe me it gets busy!! We started with orange juice and a Sunrise Matcha while we looked over the menu and caught up. The service was excellent (always) attentive, friendly, and relaxed, which made it easy to take our time. My companion ordered the B Street Bowl (potatoes, smoked brisket, onions, and peppers) with the queso served on the side and eggs cooked to order(fried hard). I ordered The Chenal which is their seasoned grilled shrimp with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes over cheesy grits. I added an over-medium egg and a side of hollandaise. Both dishes were delicious and incredibly satisfying. The portions were huge, and we each ended up taking a to-go box home for a mini meal later. It's the kind of brunch spot where you can sip your drink, take your time, and leave very full. Tip: If you order the B Street Bowl, getting the queso on the side lets you control the richness. Everything is amazing here. If you're a newbie, you can't go wrong with a Benedict!

It was lunchtime, and even though I thought I wanted something sweet like French toast the brisket wrap caught my eye, and I decided to give that a try instead. Meanwhile, the nice lady sitting next to me received her bananas, foster pancakes, and I immediately started kicking myself for not going that route. Her bananas were beautifully caramelized with quite a bit of sauce, topping the pancakes, and it looked heavenly. According to her, it was heavenly. Moments later, my brisket wrap arrived with the tiniest little container of a garlic aïoli, which was clearly homemade. The rap itself was jampacked full of succulent, perfectly cooked beef, but when you put a little bit of that aïoli on there, it really stepped its game up and shined! I left completely stuffed in a very happy camper and you will too. Enjoy!

Walking into…read moreSugar Llama is a bit of a trip, it is impeccably clean and smells exactly like a nostalgic carnival, but the atmosphere is eerily quiet. Despite the sweet aroma, there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant, and the staff member present didn't even offer a greeting. You essentially order and pay via a small tablet kiosk tucked off to the side, meaning you can get through your entire visit with zero human interaction. The Price of Convenience We have to talk about the pricing because some of it is truly jarring. $3.19 for a single can of soda is, quite frankly, unacceptable under any circumstances. It is definitely a "convenience tax" taken to the extreme. The mini donuts are priced in tiers: 1 - $1.19 4 - $3.99 6 - $5.59 12 - $9.96 16 - $11.99 25 - $17.69 100 - $52.89 The Donuts As far as service speed goes, they are lightning-fast. We ordered 16 donuts in four different flavors, and the entire box was ready in just five minutes. We sampled the Cinnamon Roll, Strawberry, Cotton Candy, and Turtle. Every single one of them was objectively good. While these aren't necessarily "life-changing" donuts that will haunt your dreams, they are solid, tasty treats. If you are in the mood to try something new and don't mind the kiosk-style service (or the expensive soda), it is certainly worth a visit.

After not having been there since before covid, I went back yesterday. I noticed the remodel and saw the lack of a case featuring cakes and other sweets. OK - I thought as long as it still tastes the same. I heard an employee tell another customer that the same family still owned it. I got my old favorite -- lemon blueberry tea cake and a cupcake with coconut and caramel topping the icing. My sister who has celiac bought several soups, many pieces of cheesecake, an individual lemon pie, cookies and more. She took a bite of the little pie as soon as we got in the car -- let me tell you it was awful. The lemon did not taste at all lemony. It tasted mostly of chemicals. When I got home, I ate the cupcake and the cupcake itself was dry and barely edible. The frosting was some unknown concoction that tasted of chemicals also. My sister told me this morning that she ate more stuff when she got home and she has been sick all night and still today. I googled Dempsey and it says that Paula Dempsey sold the bakery to Friendly Bakery. They did the remodel and I am assuming the food was also "remodeled." I'm sure it was a "money" thing because that is what big business always does -- look at the bottom line. I am so disappointed. I used to go there for lunch when I worked downtown but I know for sure, I won't be going back. I did not select "service" or "ambiance" as noted above. I didn't find anything wrong with either. It was the chemical taste of the food and the lack of freshness that I am upset about.
