This place was insanely packed on a Sunday morning! So packed that couldn't find a seat. We managed to find one by the bar (high chair). Ordered the vanilla iced latte with oatmeal, topo Chico and a turkey sandwich! I love a good vanilla latte iced w/ oatmeal and this was not it! Kinda disappointed bc it's such a popular place and was expecting it to be the best. Maybe it was the ratio of coffee to milk. It wasn't terrible but wasn't the best. Well I will have to say is the staff was super Friendly and very informative this was our 1st visit. We were/are on a road trip. I personally loved the coffee. It does have a bold deep flavor which plays to my taste buds. On the other hand, my wife could not handle the strong flavors and she gave it to me. YEAH FOR ME!!! We did not try any pastries. I could tell the matcha was high grade, no clumping or artificial sweetness, and the raspberry flavor was slightly sour and not too sweet at all. I also had the greek yogurt with granola - apple butter added as a recommendation from the cashier - and it was fantastic. Wouldn't typically expect greatness from a yogurt item, but this one was crafted with thought. We were looking for a decent coffee shop in the area after drinking the underwhelming coffee at our work site all week, and for whatever reason decided on this. Great choice. Friendly staff. It is a super cute shop that is open and bright with high ceilings. LOVE the mural on the brick outside, too. I'd already had some coffee but wanted something hearty and not crazy high in caffeine, so I was going to go with an iced tea. They had a section on their drink menu with milk teas, and that sounded like the perfect blend of what I was looking for. I'm not usually a tea drinker and have never really done the tea latte things. I have been missing out, because this thing was awesome. I ordered the London Fog, and it was amazing. I've never had one before so I don't have a great comparison, but I can guarantee if I made it myself it wouldn't be this tasty. They also had really delicious looking breads and cakes. This would be a staple coffee shop if I lived in the area, but it is pretty expensive (I feel like a lot of them are)... It was just under $5 for the milk tea. read more

Visiting from Berkeley, CA and tried a different spot each day on a 3 day trip. Utterly disappointed by the first 2 and was totally wowed by this one. It's a trek from the area by the water where many hotels are b but absolutely worth the walk. Not too acidic, just sweet enough, smooth but with the bite you want when drinking an espresso in the morning. Beautiful space and attentive workers behind the counter gives it a warm and welcoming vibe. I also got the monkey bread which I failed to take a picture of before I devoured. They offered to warm it up for me and it was eye rolling good. Would definitely recommend this if you're a fan of mochas and pastries. read more

A wonderful staple in Little Rock! This place gets it, the coffee is perfect, the food delicious, and the service welcoming. The location is fun! I give this place extra props because they only charge you for what you eat, for example- if I remove a tomato or onions? The price reduces, and only the items I order is reflected in what I pay. Fidel feels like a homey place and like they care about their customers. This place did not pop up on my initial search for vegetarian-friendly food in Little Rock, but I am glad I found it. This cafe's food menu included plenty of options for me with clear marking. The chia pudding I ended up with had the option of fresh fruit, but they told me they don't have any fresh fruit in winter, which is fair enough. I wondered if it would be boring without the fruit, but the granola/brittle was quite tasty and blended in well. My London fog wasn't as tasty; I mean the Earl Grey flavor was there but it needed a bit more vanilla or something else and was a pretty small beverage. Despite me eating in, everything was in takeout containers, which is some combination of convenient and wasteful and has become a more common practice in the COVID era. The place had some indoor and outdoor seating, and was walkable to the waterfront. They had plenty of other very nice-looking cafe food on display. read more

This coffee bar is hands-down one of the very best in Little Rock. Their coffee offerings are great and on top of it, you can taste the authenticity! Their baked goods are made fresh daily from across the street in which the selection is also amazing and they are all very delicious. The staff here are friendly and the service is fast. There are indoor table seating but it's limited but they do have bar seatings. They also have outdoor seating area that anyone can enjoy. I highly recommend this coffee place. My wife and I were in Little Rock for the weekend and chose Fidel & Co for coffee. Admittedly coffee snobs accustomed to high-quality coffee brewed to perfection, we specifically chose Fidel & Co because they advertised single origin pour over coffee. When we got there Saturday morning, they had a nice laminated menu showcasing their pour-over options - aw yeaah! I placed an order at the front for 2 pour-overs and the barista told me "Oh we don't do pour-overs on the weekends." Queue disappointed face of disbelief. I told her that pour-overs were the whole reason why we chose to come there that morning and said there was nothing on the website or menu saying you don't do them on the weekend and politely asked if they could make an exception. The barista shook her head no and said "we don't do them on the weekends because we get too busy and they take too much time." Okay, fair, pour-overs take 3-5 minutes to make. Hardly a chore but definitely more time than simply pouring coffee into a mug. I looked back behind us. There were 2 people in line. Half the tables there were empty. They were far from busy. The barista was polite, but firm they would not make us a pour-over coffee. We won't be back. read more

I can absolutely see myself bringing my laptop here and doing some work. I got the Acai Bowl (a pretty basic bowl, not worth the $12 in my opinion) and the My Name is Earl Grey (sparkling Earl Grey tea with rosewater - so yummy!).
