I said no and told the lady how their pricing structure works to explain that I absolutely remember asking for it. The original person I spoke with called me back and said she remembered talking to me about it and everything was fine. Our total ended up being DOUBLE the estimated cost (it went from $2000 to $4000). A significant reason for this was their planning of the route. They decided to start at the pick up location in Herndon, then to to Maryland to the other pick up location and then travel all the way to southern Virginia. Their poor planning caused the drivers to encounter more traffic than necessary, which cost us a lot of money. The men who came to perform the move worked hard and worked fast. They did a great job despite the errors admin made. They did lose the legs for the couch and bed frame. It wasn't a big deal for us since we had a new bed frame being delivered the next day and we had a second couch. My BIGGEST issue was that when they reached the second location (storage unit: described to admin as a 10x10 full storage unit with some furniture items and around 40 boxes). The movers were not told about the 40 boxes. Their truck was too small to fit everything. They thought they were just picking up the furniture. When admin called me regarding this issue, they tried to say I had forgotten to tell them about the 40 boxes. I said that's not possible since it was on my contract with them. I sent her the proof from the contract and the movers phone showing the discrepancy. For their error, they gave me a pathetic $50 discount - so I'd still be paying another $800 for their error. No thanks. Choose a different moving company and ignore these fake positive reviews.

Mike came with 2 other guys who didn't speak much English ( but Mike did). They worked so so hard, I was very impressed honestly. They didn't take random breaks and this work is back-breaking honestly. We provided tons of cold water and pizza for lunch to make sure they were fueled enough. They were super, super careful about everything they moved, very professional, courteous, places stuff where we asked them to and were generally nice and smiling throughout the process. They took care and time when moving - took them 10.5 hours to get the job done. I'd highly recommend them for anyone wanting to move honestly. I have zero complains or notes. They are very reasonably priced in my opinion and excellent value for money, given how much effort this job takes.
