I am going to echo the sentiments of Eric's other customers when I say that Eric is a great person and teacher and I highly recommend him if you are interested in giving kiteboarding a try (or if you want to return to it). I was not a gifted beginner (to say the least) but Eric remained patient and encouraging throughout our lesson. I definitely encourage potential customers to view the day as an experience. Don't obsess over whether you will be able to get up on your first try or even your first day; be open to learning the sport and having fun. I personally did not get up on my first day, but I was fine with that. I had been wanting to try kiteboarding for years and am glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and gave it a try. I absolutely loved working with Eric. He's a very outgoing and fun instructor. He really knows what he is talking about and got me up in riding in the first lesson. Most importantly his communication skills are excellent. Eric does a great job communicating techniques and ideas to his students which makes learning much easier. Took a half-day lesson with Eric today and learned a lot. He showed me how the kite works and how to set everything up. THen, we started with a small kite and worked up to one big enough to pull me.
