There was also a private walkway to the beach with several places to rinse off sand when coming back from the beach. We have stayed many places in North Myrtle and this was one of favorite places. Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've noticed a significant decline. Cleanliness has become a recurring issue. We've had to call housekeeping back multiple times because the initial cleaning was not done well. This past year, there was hair on the toilet paper holder, visible dust in several areas, and the indoor glass tables looked like they were wiped with harsh cleaners, leaving them streaky and cloudy. In the past, if something wasn't right, we could call and it would be taken care of quickly and professionally. This year felt very different. The hot tub was broken, and instead of a straightforward apology or resolution, the issue seemed to be brushed off. We also had random sheets placed in our elevator that we didn't request, which added to the confusion. What was most disappointing was that when my mom left a review on their site, parts of it were altered and the negative feedback was removed--even though she still gave a generous 4-star rating. As long-time renters, it's frustrating to see the quality and customer service go downhill like this. We've made many great memories over the years, but we hope to see improvements moving forward.

It didn't take us long at all to notice food and crumbs all over the floor and furniture. It only got worse as we unpacked to settle in and get ready for our beach vacation. It looked as if the room hadn't been cleaned for a while. Dirty linens on every bed had to be washed. There were broken fixtures, which included lights that didn't work, shower heads, and towel racks falling off the wall. The bath had to be scrubbed to remove all the filth that was left in it due to lack of cleaning. Doors to rooms wouldn't stay shut, which was interesting with 2 small children with us who wanted to walk into every room at the most inappropriate times. There was mold build‑up on trim and wall decor. Previous renters' mouth retainers were on the floor. A gigantic hairball was on the furniture, and sinks were clogged from hair buildup. There were layers upon layers of dust on fans, and a broken television in the master bedroom. During our stay, the keyless door lock to our room decided to run out of battery power. My Girlfirend and I waited 4 hours in the room waiting for someone to come change it. Don't expect common household kitchenware--the lack of basic necessities you would expect from renting a beach condo was not there. We were there 5 days and called every day about a new issue or just to inform them of the filth. They offered us a "reclean" 3 days in. It wasn't cleaned to begin with, and we had already cleaned just to try to feel comfortable. When we checked out and talked to the manager about our issues, he offered to refund the cleaning fee, saying that he couldn't credit us anymore unless the A/C or hot water was out. But Elliot Reality was perfectly fine with us laying and living in filth after we paid them over $3k for a 5‑day stay. It is a disgusting place, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing good research and finding a more accommodating rental in this area. Elliot Reality is not your top choice--please trust me.

The house was filthy after they said it was cleaned. We took an hour to re clean everything. The home really needs an update, and Elliott Rental needs to get a new cleaning crew. After paying over $4000 for the week, this in unacceptable.

Spot on master bdrm floor, approx. 10" splatter that had been neglected for awhile. Styrofoam bowl with a piece of popcorn behind night stand (I can understand this one more than the others). Dining room table hadn't been wipe down in a few weeks. Dirty knife in the drawer. Cabinets in kitchen with food and splatter on them indicating they have not been cleaned in several weeks or months. Cabinet doors above the stove coated in grease film (possibly not cleaned for weeks, or longer). No hand or floor towels (for stepping out of shower). Wrong sized sheets (I did talk to after hours personnel, he apologized and was willing to pass along the info). Personnel in office and otherwise have been agreeable, just someone within organization can't seem to execute on the simple every day things. Internet not working. I do not take any joy in sharing this, but my hope is to keep someone else from wasting time, money, and frustration. Elliott do better!
