Ashworth 105 review This condo is perfect for families! The four bedrooms offer plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We had 9 people and never once wished we had more space. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you could think you would need for prepping food. We stayed a full week and never ate out once after shopping at the grocery stores (within a 1 mile!!). We loved being able to watch the older kids in the pool from the balcony and seeing the sunrise over the ocean each morning. Plenty to do at Ashworth for the kids and such easy access to the beach! The main strip has several souvenir shops, ice cream parlors, and even an escape room that is less than a 5 minute walk away. We rented paddleboards and it was so close we could make the 6:30 sunrise tour. The Pelicans MLB Stadium is only a 30 minute drive and our whole group loved seeing them play! This rental had a crib and high chair which made our stay much easier with little ones. You can walk out the front door of the condo and be on the first floor of the parking garage which meant no stairs or elevator to get to the room. North Myrtle Beach is far enough away from the partying that we slept soundly at night and could walk to the local park (McLean) in the morning and not pass trash on the streets. We biked to putt putt, the dunes, and an amazing bowling alley with exquisite ice cream milkshakes. The rental company was quick to respond to our inquiries and the home owner even checked in with us midstay to make sure everything was perfect. North strand bike rental delivered right to our door! For a week long beach vacation I highly recommend this rental, especially to anyone with an extended family who is looking for something that is worth the price. This condo checked all the boxes for our group of 9 (five adults, and four children, with one being an infant) and I am excited to book again in the future! read more

Rented a property from Seaside Vacations for a nice get-away during Christmas. The company was easy to deal with and very accommodating. Our check-out was a little late due to a rental car malfunction, but we called and they didn't have a problem with us leaving just a couple hours after the standard checkout time. Rental property itself was oceanside and pretty well kept. The furniture was from the 80s, but I am thinking it is someone's investment property and they use Seaside Vacations as a 3rd party management for the condo. Since it was winter... North Myrtle beach was hardly crowded at all and a lot of things had closed down for the season - but that is what we wanted: nice quiet Christmas to spend with the family. read more

seaside gave us wrong Information or ripped us off. I asked before I booked a unit if the $500 security deposit was included in the total. they replied back on our unit and said yes the security deposit was already included. in our paperwork/contract said 30 days after stay we would be refunded for the security deposit. I called when we checked out to make sure they got everything in lock box and confirmed check out before 10 and they said the security deposit takes 30 days sometimes sooner. I called today and now I'm being told there never was a security deposit that was just all our fees. very upset and totally unacceptable. I feel like we were ripped off by them. read more

We booked a room at an oceanfront condo through Seaside Vacations and had a wonderful experience! Our room was ready much earlier than anticipated and since my parents arrived sooner than we did, the office (with my consent) allowed them to pick up the keys. We found our room to be very nice and as clean as we could expect. They left detailed information regarding their polices and rules which was much appreciated. Check out was a breeze! Awful telephone communication this morning. We called about the monthly rates available online under 'deals' and she kept interrupting us stating that the units were not available for those prices. She asked which units we wanted and we gave her exact unit numbers with the deal amount and the month we needed. Looking right at the website. She didn't understand the 'monthly' stays! Or maybe she just wasn't awake yet. I don't know but I know we needed a place and we're not interested in dealing with someone with poor communication skills. Don't waste your time calling to book a stay with them. They'll jerk you around, act stupid and not get you what you need. Plenty of other hotels, vacation rentals and real estate agents that can accommodate you. Moving forward. Best wishes to this company. CONSUMERS BEWARE - On July 21,2022 I reserved a condo in North Myrtle Beach, SC. In the initial papers from Seaside Vacations there is a paragraph stating if you buy the Red SKy Insurance, it would pay for non refundable payments and certain other costs, if your trip must be cancelled or interrupted for unforseen injury, sickness or death. It also covers unforseen circumstances such as severe weather. In September 2022 hurricane Ian hit Florida hard and all the experts (meteorologists and others did not know what part of South Carolina was going to be hit by Ian. South Carolina Governor declared SC a state of emergency Tuesday, September 27. Horry County in Myrtle Beach declared a state of emergency Wednesday, September 28, the day we were to start our vacation. At one point before our departure day, Myrtle Beach, SC was the target for Hurrican Ian. We decided not to go, possibly risking our lives. At that time both Seaside Vacations and Red Sky Insurance Company told us the only way we would get our money back would be if Myrtle Beach declared a mandatory evacuation when we were there. Seaside Vacations sent me the email again from July 21, but had changed one paragraph to "the insurance will cover situations due to illness, accidents, mandatory evacuation and other acts of God." We put in a claim with Red Sky and my credit card company. Red Sky declined the claim as there was no mandatory evacuation. Through my credit card company, I received a credit back on my credit card company for the rent of the condo and the amount I paid for the insurance. Seaside Vacations clearly changed one paragraph in their original email and sent it to me the day we were suppose to leave for the beach basically to cover their butt because of Hurricane Ian. Very disappointed that they will not return my $100 cancellation fee. The trip was during the middle of the COVID-19 outbreak so we couldn't travel (or risked catching/spreading the disease). Although we got the money back from our renter, Seaside decided their "policy" is to keep the $100 cancellation fee. You do realize this is a pandemic that has never happened before - right? I wish there was a way to give 0 stars! I will never book through this company again. As of July 2nd, this area was on a hot spot list for Chicago, requiring a 14 day quarantine if you visit the area. This mandatory quarantine would have affected a critical event for us, so we had to cancel. This organization refused to refund our money. This mandate was put into affect long after we booked the condo. I sent an email expressing why we had to cancel and that I didn't expect a full refund, suggesting we could split it, so not just one of us would lose. THEY REFUSED. SHAME ON THEM. read more

The house which we rented costed around 3000$. When we arrived the outside edge of the roof was dilapidated and had holes on the outside. The house is on stilts and we could see the bottom of the home. The bottom had holes where we could see the insulation. The stairs we walked up to felt unstable and broken down. When we entered I could immediately see the dust and filth on the ground. Some of the drawers had old, crusty food within and some of the silverware had FOOD on it. The mattress that I was going to sleep on looked like it should have been thrown out years ago. Our bathroom door couldn't even shut all the way. When we lifted up one of the rugs we saw a couple thick lines of dust. Smeared peanut butter was under one of the cushions on the couch along with a empty cracker wrapper. The screen on the back door was halfway torn off. It stormed one night and water was dripping through the bathroom roof. Gross crumbs of food was under the coffee table. The kitchen was full of ants crawling all over the oven and counter tops. I killed a bunch in the morning and we went to make sandwiches just to find more ants. Only source of lighting was old lamps. An Electronic box was open under the house with cords hanging everywhere. A lamp with a ripped cord was on the table not even dealt with. When we called to complain they pretty much blew us off. Our house, which was more like a shack in a shanty town, was called " Mary Ruth Cottage". We will never use this company again. I just hope we can survive until the end of this vacation. read more
