Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've noticed a significant decline. Cleanliness has become a recurring issue. We've had to call housekeeping back multiple times because the initial cleaning was not done well. This past year, there was hair on the toilet paper holder, visible dust in several areas, and the indoor glass tables looked like they were wiped with harsh cleaners, leaving them streaky and cloudy. In the past, if something wasn't right, we could call and it would be taken care of quickly and professionally. This year felt very different. The hot tub was broken, and instead of a straightforward apology or resolution, the issue seemed to be brushed off. We also had random sheets placed in our elevator that we didn't request, which added to the confusion. What was most disappointing was that when my mom left a review on their site, parts of it were altered and the negative feedback was removed--even though she still gave a generous 4-star rating. As long-time renters, it's frustrating to see the quality and customer service go downhill like this. We've made many great memories over the years, but we hope to see improvements moving forward.

There is sand and excessive dog hair in all of the floors, no bathroom rugs or mats, no dishcloths or towels, cut out electrical holes in wall, blinds broken or dont work, flooring is healing and has soft spots in main walking area, the advertised grill is rusted to pieces, hot tub was not cleaned, and the swing broke as a person was sitting in it. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo had a nice oceanfront view and was well maintained and updated. The place seemed safe, secure and quiet. The residents and other guests we encountered were friendly and talkative. We spent a lot of time in the spacious indoor pool which was clean and never overly crowded. There was also a private walkway to the beach with several places to rinse off sand when coming back from the beach. We have stayed many places in North Myrtle and this was one of favorite places. We rented a 3 bedroom condo for SOS spring week. The condo was filthy! They came in and placed the…read morewhite paper across the toilets as if they had been cleaned. They were disgusting!! I called Elliot and they said for us to leave and they would send someone to clean it. We went dancing for hours that afternoon and when we returned, there was a sponge and cleaning cloth in the trash with the trash lid open but nothing had been touched! Crumbs on the floor, sticky drink rings on the kitchen table, every surface was dusty and dirty, ketchup fingerprints on the fridge, none of the toilets had been touched! Thing is, they had come in and cleaned the master toilet, put the white paper thing on it and left. My sister and I cleaned every surface, bathroom and vacuumed floors and were too tired to go out dancing/shagging and stayed in that Friday night!!! I tried to hook up to the internet and guess what....it didn't work. After talking to 5 people who couldn't help me, I went in and reset everything. Voila! On my way out I stopped at their office to tell them how unhappy I was. They didn't charge me for the clean up crew coming in after I left and gave me $100. The next day, Elliot called my friends and told them they were not renting them the beautiful home for 16 people that had been reserved and paid for for a year! After raising hell, Elliot finally put them in a nice place but it was a mile further down the road. SOS is all about staying within walking distance of the clubs so you can walk home. Needless to say, I'm looking another rental company!

Spot on master bdrm floor, approx. 10" splatter that had been neglected for awhile. Styrofoam bowl with a piece of popcorn behind night stand (I can understand this one more than the others). Dining room table hadn't been wipe down in a few weeks. Dirty knife in the drawer. Cabinets in kitchen with food and splatter on them indicating they have not been cleaned in several weeks or months. Cabinet doors above the stove coated in grease film (possibly not cleaned for weeks, or longer). No hand or floor towels (for stepping out of shower). Wrong sized sheets (I did talk to after hours personnel, he apologized and was willing to pass along the info). Personnel in office and otherwise have been agreeable, just someone within organization can't seem to execute on the simple every day things. Internet not working. I do not take any joy in sharing this, but my hope is to keep someone else from wasting time, money, and frustration. Elliott do better!

Everyone wore masks and respected those rules. Wifi in lobby area with formal chairs and tables. Otherwise, your rental unit owner has to provide you with one for the room. Free TV. Staff extremely friendly, from security to bar to car garage.

It is by far the best condo we've ever rented, and its one of the highlights of the year for my family. Some of the amenities you'll find onsite are, a large heated pool, Tiki Bar at the pool during summer vacation season, tennis courts (2), putting green, driving net, casual food venue serving breakfast and lunch, and oceanfront cocktail lounge. One of the benefits of renting this unit is that only a small portion of the Maisons-sur-Mer condos are rental units, leaving the beach un-crowded and very family oriented. Another thing that is included with the rental is a beach service umbrella set (2 chairs and an umbrella) which is set up each day by the beach lifeguard for you to use ($130 value). The condo has everything you need, very clean, and 2 huge balconies for amazing views. Janet has perfected the reservation process and is always available for any questions that may come up during your stay. I highly recommend staying at unit 707 for your family vacation.
