And the trashcan outside is overflowing with garbage and looks like it hasn't been emptied in quite some time. Also the wifi is horrible, it's slow and goes in and out constantly. The only good thing I can say about this place so far is that the beds are fairly comfortable.

We rented a property that this company manages on VRBO. The property was supposed to be…read morenon-smoking yet when we arrived the smell of cigarette smoke was so strong it made my roommate's asthma flare up. Dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher and a greasy oven tray on top of the stove. Our contact at Myrtle Palms was Toni. We reached out to her explaining our complaints and she was incredibly rude/short in her response. Only after she spoke with the owner and realized the owner's son had been there the weekend prior (unbeknownst to the management company) was an apology from her received. She sent someone over to "re-clean" the apartment, but it was cleaned to subpar standards. We are not ones to complain, so we did some minor cleaning ourselves to make the condo more bearable. The master bathroom was not used during our entire stay because the smell of smoke was still so strong, which further limited us to one bathroom to share for our full visit. Before checking out we cleaned the entire condo and it was left in BETTER CONDITION than was presented to us, so it was quite a surprise when an "excessive cleaning fee" of $75 was taken out of our deposit. The contract indicates "the guest agrees to pay an excessive housekeeping fee if the property is not left in a neat and orderly condition". As stated above, we left the condo in better condition than what was presented to us. When I tried to dispute these charges with Toni, a single email with pictures of various items in the condo (no further explanation) was sent as a reply. The pictures included the inside of a disgusting stove that looked like it had not been cleaned in years. This is interesting because we did not once use the stove during our stay. My roommate and I were doing rotations at nearby hospitals and worked 12-15 hour days, 5-6 days a week so obviously the extent to which we used the condo was minimal and included mostly showering and sleeping. The only use of the kitchen was to make coffee in the morning and a microwave meal for dinner. When I reached out again explaining my case I never received a response from the company. There are many other options to choose in Myrtle Beach for management companies and if you are wanting to enjoy any part of your stay I would highly recommend choosing ANYONE else.

Beach Cove Resort room 421…read more Let me start by saying this: I WISH I could post pictures of this place because OH MAN is it false advertisement. From the beginning we had issues with the room. The floors were sticky when we walked in, small broken pieces of glass still on the floor by the cabinets, no outlet cover on the electrical outlet in plain sight next to the table, huge holes in the wall in the bathroom directly across from the shower (suspicious right?), mold on the shower ceiling and all down the shower curtain (which they did come replace after two calls), the lock on the bathroom door is broken and it barely closes at all, the lock on the utility closet in the bathroom is broken so that doesn't close either; the carpet in the bedroom was stained,sticky, and matted down. Poop splatter behind the toilet in the bathroom. We finally got inside the condo at 5pm and dropped our stuff and left to grab food and grocery shop. Sunday morning I started noticing all of the issues so I called the weekend attendant that I had checked in with, Ashley. She was extremely rude and advised that all of the issues I had stated were fine. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she would not transfer me. I waited again and called on Monday and finally got through to someone who sent people out to clean it again. They did not mop as the floors were still sticky in the same spots in the hallway and kitchen. They did not clean up the poop splatter on the wall. They DID however clean the carpets which did improve the general smell of the condo. I called the manager back after the cleaners were done and stated that there was still mold in the bathroom and the holes across from the shower were not an issue. They came out again to replace the shower curtain. I asked Monday is we could just be moved to a different condo or refunded for Tuesday-Saturday so we could find a different cleaner one. They advised that they would refund me by the next business day. We did not get the refund ($100) until after we had already gotten home Saturday evening. Overall this place was so disappointing. I am only really writing this review so that another family read's it prior to deciding. I will never be using and referring to Vantage and I am so sad that my family vacation was ruined because I had to keep hounding management all week. I have a toddler and it was unsafe to let him walk barefoot in the kitchen from the glass shards, or lay on the carpet, or even be near the outlet with no cover. No one should have to clean up other people's poop splatter on their vacation!!!!! NEGATIVE STARS.

Went away for a long weekend to get away and relax with some girlfriends. This condo was the…read moreperfect place! The condo was CLEAN, you'd be surprised how many are not and we did not want to start our weekend away by cleaning! The condo was decorated with soothing colors and comfy furniture that just begged us to sit down and relax, and that's exactly what we did for 4 days. The kitchen was beautiful and each of the 3 bedrooms had their own full bathroom, plus a half bath in the hallway - again each of them were CLEAN! The view from the condo is, again, beautiful and restful, we watched the sun set across the bay then watched a movie - nice HD TV by the way! The location on the bay side provided a quiet place to come back to after a busy day out and about. We started planning our next weekend away as we closed the door on this one. Back to husbands, children, and work, but with memories of our time away and plans for our next getaway at Rivendell 710, Ocean City, MD. The pictures are accurate, this place really is lovely!

Our family of 5 chose to stay at the Kitty Walk beach house on Sunset Beach from September…read more14th-September 21st, 2013 and were not disappointed! This rental house is absolutely beautiful! From the front door of this home to the beach, it is only .34 miles. On average, it took us about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach, but then again, we have a three year old that likes to stop about every six seconds to admire the scenery. This house has everything that you could need for your stay at Sunset Beach. All of the furnishings appear to be new, as well as the carpet, and the paint colors are great. All linens (towels, sheets) are provided and the comforters look very nice, as well. In the kitchen, we found everything: plates, bowls, glasses, pots, pans and all utensils. I would recommend that you bring your own Tupperware or some saran wrap from the meals that you prepare. There is a grocery store less than 2 miles down the road to stock up and there are numerous places where you can buy fresh seafood. Right off the kitchen, there is also a washer and dryer. The pictures that I posted with this review do not do this property justice. Even though it is not oceanfront, we loved everything about it. There are a total of three bedrooms: one queen on the bottom floor, one king on the top floor and lastly, one more queen (with an additional twin bed) on the top floor. We really wanted to share the last room with our three year old, but the queen bed was so squeaky that every time we moved, we were afraid that we would wake her up. Thus, we moved to the bedroom on the bottom floor. All bedrooms had private bathrooms attached. There was an additional public bathroom on the top floor, but not one on the bottom floor. Located in the carport, there is also a shower where you can wash off after coming back from the beach, but there is no gas grill to use. The exterior of the house is very stately looking, but could use a power wash to remove some of the bugs. The outdoor decks are great, but we didn't use them that much. From the deck, we frequently saw deer, cranes, bunnies and also the neighborhood cats. If anyone asked me where to stay at Sunset Beach, I would definitely recommend this property. To rent it, you will need to go through Sunset Properties. If I return to this area, I would definitely request this house again.
