I give it 2 stars. This store is beautiful, well kept and clean. When we walked in the employee was glued to her phone. It was so bad that she didn't even realize that we were watching her watch TikTok. While we were there she didn't greet the others in there as well. I had even walked to the counter. I was looking at the stuff on the counter, she wasn't even a foot away from me and didn't even look up away from her phone to ask if I had any questions. As we left she still didn't acknowledge us. We said good by to her and she finally lifted her head from the phone and said something to us. read more

Honestly this shop needs major help. I know that they have multiple locations so hopefully it just comes down to bad management wanting a quick cash grab and not caring about what they buy wholesale. There are a few good gems in here, but you have to have a good eye for these things to even find them. Most of the crystals in here are overpriced, and some of them are even labeled in a misleading way. I have seen multiple glass "gems" in here being sold for WAY more than they're worth. In addition, the quality of their real gems are abhorrent. I saw a grape agate that looked more like mold than crystal. It had almost NO color. The same goes for an amethyst cluster I saw. I also saw heat-treated amethyst being mislabeled as citrine. I think this shop needs to make a major turnaround soon or else everyone else will eventually get tired of the low quality crystals and go somewhere else. read more

The constant staring followed by more staring, then even more staring....staring so long and hard they could burn a hold through my chest is quite annoying. I guess the owners and workers feel their Karma is beyond reproach and that they can treat potential customers as thieves when they have done nothing, but look around...guilty until proven innocent. What?!?! There is a family-owned/operated store in Main Place Mall. Um, yes please! I haven't been to the mall in years but I wanted to get some crystals. When I saw that this store was independently owned, I figured I'd venture back into the land of beige tile. I'm glad I did. Friendly staff. Rosie was super helpful! Huge selection. Went in today at 5:30pm. The place was super zen and good vibes. However, the lady in the front was busy on a FT call so she couldn't offer help or control the family that came in loudly, messing with all the crystals (one of the kids had so many crystals on the floor, playing cars). They interrupted the peace so we had to just leave and take our business elsewhere. Also the sign said 8 people at a time but that family came with like 4-5 people. Making it like 15 of us. 2 stars because the place was nice. However no service and the atmosphere wasn't controlled. read more

I've been here a couple of times and I tried to give the cashier a chance but she's soooooooo rude. She has really negative energy and not welcoming whatsoever. I asked her about a stone one time and she gave very blunt answers "no" "depends" like I felt embarrassed for her. Clearly the products don't work if that's the energy you have. Some of the items seem fake since they're supposed to be cold but they look so artificial -cheap. Also most of the items here are overpriced if not all. $7 for a small white candle is ridiculous. Go to Walmart and get it for 1/10 of that. I saw a moonstone necklace for $33 when I saw the same necklace on Etsy for half of that. Go to Etsy and purchase your items there instead. Some of the stones at the center of the store are pebbles and for some going up to $7. It's a complete total ripoff. I don't see this store lasting at all in this economy. read more

I went here and wandered around I guess too long. The girl at the counter kept giving me dirty looks. I asked her a question and it seemed to annoy her. Then two security guards showed up and they were having a loud conversation at the register. When I finally went up to pay they suddenly left. This has been the WORST crystal shop I've been to. From the service to the items being sold-- I can't name an experience worse than this. First, everything is SOO overpriced. Not to mention so many items are FAKE. This place is far from any other real crystal shop and is desperately trying to rip people off/ make money in any way they can. They were charging $2 for those thin small mesh drawstring pouches that so many other crystal stores give for FREE. Second, the service is HORRIBLE. There are always 2 people working from what I understand-- the owner(?) and the employee. I was browsing around and the 2 people working were literally trash talking every other customer that walked in... Huge red flag. Also, this place seems to never carry cash/coins PURPOSELY so if you only have bills and no coins, they'll try and con you by saying "we'll owe you $___ since we don't have enough cash/change to give you back, is that ok?" This happened to the party ahead of me and since they were a group of young girls, they had no other option than to agree since they're not old enough to carry cards. I can't imagine how many people they've done this to. The employee/owner didn't even seem to try and go grab some coins/change anywhere afterwards?? Seems illegal to not carry the proper amount of coins/change for customers in an attempt to take money from them. Lastly, I was at the register paying for my one crystal when the employee turns around and asks her boss what type/how much the crystal is. The owner explicitly states the type of crystal it is and its price. The employee then proceeds to enter in a price HIGHER than than what her boss tells her. Obviously, I stop and question her since I, too, remembered the price of what it is I got. She then asks her boss again the SAME exact thing she had already asked before in which her boss then tells her to just go look at the price tag. The employee goes and looks, returns back and with an ATTITUDE, says "well this is supposed to be more expensive." Like... Ok? Lol. That's what the price tag literally SAYS and you're telling me it's supposed to be even more expensive than your overpriced items? Ok lol. After paying, I wait for a receipt and the employee just stands there. I ask, "may I get my receipt, please?" Since I selected "print receipt" on the machine. She then says they don't have any receipt paper. Like dude, what DOESN'T your store have? Why are you guys trying to cheap out of EVERYTHING it seems? Overall, just a money making, desperate place run by the type of girls that walked the whole mile back in middle school with bags of chips in their hands and stained Cheeto fingers. read more

I've been here twice and been helped by the same girl and she is so nice! She answers all your questions and explains thoroughly. There's plenty of tumbled crystals but I wish there were more raw ones. Ive come here many time because its the closes spiritual shop near me. Despite being a regular the owner/ cashier always gives me the dirtiest looks and treats me like im about to steal. She also always answers my questions with such an attitude. I just find it funny that someone working at a spiritual place would have such a bad attitude to their clientele. Their items are very overpriced. They don't put prices on somethings so I seriously believe they just wing it with the prices sometimes. I bought some jewelry the other day, and im severely disappointed. The jewelry us pretty expensive for what it came out to be. 25 dollars for " silver" "opalite" and "amethyst" rings if could even be called that. Be cautious when purchasing, the rings turned out to be silver plated and are already making my fingers turn green, I only purchased them two days ago! Really nice place! I was going to purchase but the second I walked in I noticed the (owner/daughter of owners?) was not wearing a mask. Didn't think much of it, thought she might just be having a drink, but no she didn't put it on at all. She didn't offer any help or asked if we had questions. After a while of being in the store she goes on to tell someone that she wished everyone could leave so she could finally eat. I usually travel several cities to find things that I need (stones, oils, jewelry, incense and such) because they have earned my business in many ways, one of them being excellent customer service providers. I found Mystic Botanica just 3 days ago bought several things from them. One of which was an essential oil roll on (rose oil and lavender) which smells very feminine. So I went to exchange the roll on for something that smelled more masculine. The person that was working was very sweet but did not know how to do an exchange but did call the owner and the owner's response was I could not exchange it! Really, I was not told all sales were final at the point of sale. Being a small business owner I know the importance of standing behind my service, and if a customer isn't satisfied I do my best within reason to make it right. Looks like I have made a bad judgement in giving my business to this place, maybe you will have a better experience, as for me you only have to tell me once that you don't appreciate my business.
