I don't know why they had that dentist look at me. I contacted the dentist office and I was told that the dentist was IN network but not according to MetLife. Last week someone at the dental office said they were going to look into it. As of Sat March 6th 2026 I haven't heard anything back. Very frustrated this happened especially since I was there for a cleaning so the dentist didn't need to examine me.

He took unreadable xrays....(the old fashioned 1"x1" film negative) that the dentist I went to a few days later said we're useless and unreadable. The new dentist took a series of real digital xrays and said there's nothing wrong with that tooth, it's not dead and doesn't need a root canal!!! I called Dr Rege and told him I want my money back for the useless xrays. ( I had to pay cash because he doesn't accept my insurance) he got on the phone and told me I had to go back there for another appointment and he would refund the money I paid for the xrays. I want ALL my money back! I was there for an hour and a half, he kept leaving the room and I was the only patient there. He couldn't tell me if I had an abscess or not because the xrays were unreadable. Find a dentist that has up to date equipment!

It took this Dental Group weeks to verify my insurance. I finally was able to make an appointment. I went in to see the dentist, and after a lot of deliberation, over a treatment plan, we arrived at a plan was satisfactory to me, and the dentist agreed to which was to give me a crown and a partial. I had a partial made at my own expense with the former dentist. I had set because he did not crown my back tooth, I had problems. I went to the dentist out of network that told me I needed to get that tooth crown. Unfortunately I couldn't see him because he was not a network. After coming up with the perfect dental plan for me, the dentist went to lunch and decided during lunch, that he was not going to give me a crown because he did not want the temporary partial I had made, which is only to be used for a short period of time, and not meant for the long term. He changed his mind because he wanted that temporary partial to fit me forever when it's going to end up in the garbage. So he changed his mind about my dental plan, but never consulted me. He had his receptionist called me and cancel my appointment till they could verify Everything even though I had already told them that the partial had been approved. To have a receptionist, call you and not even a dental assistant, and informed me that the dentist changed his mind and not consult with a patient is unacceptable in any field of dentistry. I would seriously think twice before going to this establishment. You never know what you're going to get. His behavior was remarkably unprofessional. I found a new dentist and I'm very happy with her!

Dr…read more Janicek seems great and two root canals have gone smooth so far, although it'd be too early to see any issues. As for the work itself, really only another DMD can comment. Reason for the loss of two stars are their billing practices. First root canal is $1,800 which turns into ~$800 for the in-network insurance negotiated fee. Insurance covers 80%, so less than $200 out of pocket. By the second root canal my $1,500 annual benefit is exhausted. That's fine, should be $800 out of pocket. But now the office refuses to honor the in-network fee. Now I'm being billed as if I have no insurance at all. I've confirmed with my regular dentist that they "of course still honor your in-network fee. That's the cost we've agreed to charge our clients." Not at Pro-Endo. Beware.

It almost feels like a second family when you walk in her office. They are always asking how me and my family are and they treat my daughter with so much kindness when she does her pediatric dental check ups. On top of that, they are always on time with their appointments and the office is very clean. It's a top notch dental practice. Dr Mackey deserves all of the recognition!
