Overall, a nice experience. 4.5 Stars…read more Zenergy is pretty much a one-woman show run by Lily and she's great. She's very friendly and good at what she does -- you can feel the difference in your body immediately. Appointments can be made via email, calling, or texting; but be sure to give her about 48 hours notice. I went to her Mass Ave location, but she also does home massages. For my visit, I had an hour-long Swedish massage and I have to say that it's definitely one of the better ones I had. She was very professional and asked about my preferences and needs. When I told her about my upper back scoliosis, she didn't automatically avoid working that area or completely ignore what I said (like some other masseuses have done), she just gently worked it until it got better. My shoulders and neck honestly haven't felt that relaxed and comfortable in a long time. I also asked her to focus on my hands and feet and she did a good job. The only reason why this isn't a full 5 Stars is because of the atmosphere -- it just wasn't very conducive to relaxation. In all fairness though, that is not Lily's fault. She just happens to share the office with a therapist(?), so the decor felt a little out of place for a massage. The location is very convenient though; it's right on Mass Ave, with loads of metered parking nearby and within reach of several bus stops. Overall, I would definitely visit Lily again and would recommend her services to anyone. She does a great job and I've already bought the $75 for $50 Yelp Deal for my next appointment. Pro-Tip: It's cash or PayPal only -- no cards yet. Roughly $65 for 60 minutes.

She gives amazing and strong deep tissue, which can be hard to find, or her touch can be very soothing if I'm stressed and looking for relaxation. Her Reiki is very powerful as well. I always come out feeling like I'm walking on air. I'm never disappointed when I leave here, which is a nice change from some of the other body/energy work experiences I've had. Highly recommended.

Over time, however, it felt like the management style, particularly at the ownership level, shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and situations that once would have been handled directly and professionally were not. This was not reflective of the front desk team. Many of the therapists I connected with moved on. My most recent experience simply was not the right fit. I did not feel fully heard, and the session felt more rushed than mindful. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.

I was hoping to have a nice experience here. I am so lucky. I had the best time with Dr Sonja. She told the right information of all my charkas and the problems that blocked me right now. all my energies have clear visual sights in her imagination and they were all correct. I shed my tears when she was revealing the information of all my chakras. Also, she told me exactly how to deal with the negative energies in my body to become better. She not only started the healing process for me after the very first visit, the pain pretty much subsided after just 2-3 sessions. I have been to LOTS of healers, body-workers, intuits, massage therapists, etc. over the last 15 years and she is by far the best. Sonja is truly gifted!! The studio is on the third floor of a building and shares bathrooms with the other tenants of the building. That was the only real negative of the experience. A dirty semi-public bathroom. There is some initial paperwork before your first appointment, it took less than 5 minutes. Then you wait in the lounge area for your masseuse. I got the therapeutic massage and it was just what I needed. The massage therapist checked in with me about the pressure and wasn't chatty. It was bliss. When I booked the appointment, it was not communicated that the clock starts the minute you check in. I arrived 10 minutes late due to needing to walk 1 hour in 90 degree heat to get to the appointment, and was offered to use the restroom beforehand. Again, no communication that "my clock" had started. I was taken to the room, then taken back to the front desk to get my temperature checked because they forgot to do it at the start. By the time I talked to Eva and got onto the table, it was 30 minutes into my 1-hour appointment. The massage, while amazing, only lasted 30 minutes, and I was charged for the full hour. When trying to push back, I was offered a $10 credit for my next appointment. I'm all for being understanding in the pandemic, but this should be a 2-way Street. I also understand increasing prices due to PPE but to be charged double for a service without communicating the policy is sneaky and not excusable. I'm left torn because the service itself was amazing but have a terrible taste on my mouth because of the price.
