On August 1, 2023 I called and was told they were extremely busy but they would remake my shirts and get them shipped out, their excuse being they didn't have a way to communicate or contact me. However I paid with PayPal using my email, I called so they have my number and I reached out to them on Facebook, not to mention I included all my information when I returned the damaged items! Long story short we are now in October, 5 months after my initial order and I still do not have a refund or my merchandise! This has been a nightmare! The shirts were quoted $15 each, when I went to pick them up they were not ready. I asked if I could change the style of shirts since they were not made! The lady said yes it will be an additional cost, it went from $45 to $88! I waited for them to be made in 15 minutes I was told not to wash for 7 days! I'm not asking for anything I do not deserve! After waiting 5 months I believe they owe me a refund! Frustrating when I'm states away, because if I lived in California this matter would have been taken care of! Don't let my location give you a reason or excuse to jack me around! I want a refund!

He gave me options and detailed exactly what was needed, I had 8 quotes all together and still chose Benny because of the quality of work he showed from prior jobs, the type of people he employed, and the equipment he offered was a step above all the competition! After purchasing the pool and choosing blue build he sent out the Forman who oversaw the job - my go to point of contact Bryce. Bryce was the nicest guy with communication skills that are above and beyond! Any questions ide call Bryce and I was installs put at ease and explained every process! He oversaw the whole process keeping me updated the whole time! Bryce is amazing!!!! 20/10 overall they went over and beyond I recommend blue build to anyone looking for a reliable company that's local and stands by there work!

I followed her to a door that said "employees only". When she came out, she held exactly what I was looking for: a 5/8 microphone stand for my theramin! During the transaction process, as I was sifting through my wallet, an unmasked man attempted an entry into the store. I stood happily at the counter as the associate refused him service and entry. I tried the Guitar Center in SF and Emeryville to try to pinpoint what I was looking for, but couldn't find anything that met my needs. I'm very picky and had given up on finding an acoustic until I walked by Gottschalk's.The sales associate, Jay, greeted me and warmly, but gave me space to try things on my own. As soon as I had a question about the wood backing of a Taylor, they went into a detailed explanation of what it was made of and the pros/cons of the material. After hearing about my long list of preferences for a guitar, Jay suggested I try the Eastman acoustic dreadnaught. I immediately liked how it felt and sounded, which had only happened once before with a handmade vintage Martin acoustic that was way out of my price range. I ended up purchasing the Eastman the next day and am very happy with it. Shoutout to Jay for the help, they were incredibly nice and honest.

I love Sezane, Paige, Anthropologie, etc., but I can often find similar styles and quality at Sitting Pretty. So when I get the chance to drive over to Chowchilla, I definitely do! While designer stores charge $200+ per item, clothing pieces here are $25-45. I'm quite picky because I like sleek, polished looks; clothing that isn't loud, but in its own way is unforgettable. It could be a black top with a scalloped neckline - unique and not something you can easily find elsewhere. Yet soft, comfortable and easy to wash. The customer service here is top notch too. They are so friendly and attentive; always smiling - that good old Valley charm and hospitality you can't quite find elsewhere. I love that I never have to carry my clothes around because they consistently check in with me. You don't have to go to a designer store to receive designer-level customer service or quality clothing. I've definitely gotten many compliments on my clothes and women asking where I bought them. I chuckle and tell them I bought them from this little town called Chowchilla from a boutique called Sitting Pretty. Strange that such a gem exists where no one would ever expect it to, but hoping Sitting Pretty is around for a very long time. Last, but certainly not least, they source their own clothing and they frequently change. So if you like something, buy 2 of them. If you didn't find something you like that day (this never happened to me), come back a different week because all the clothes will be different.

They saw us walk in yet did not verbally acknowledge us. We browsed, oohed and ahhed over some of the cute tops, and eventually found ourselves near the front counter. At this point the customer finished and left. Still, no greeting or anything from either employee. There was no one else in the store. After they finished their conversation, the older employee went to the back. We continued shopping until finally I looked up and loudly said to the remaining employee: "Good morning, how are you?". She responded and STILL didn't ask if we needed assistance, if we were finding everything okay, if we had questions about any of their products, or anything! We couldn't believe how unprofessional both employees were. They obviously didn't need our business so we left. We try very hard to support local businesses. But when the employees treat us like we are invisible and aren't good enough to greet us when we enter their establishment or offer shopping assistance, then that business clearly does not want our money.
