And the guys that installed the windows were incredibly professional, friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend Meyer Windows and Doors for your home improvement projects. And I will definitely be reaching out to them this summer to have my remaining windows replaced. Thanks for making such a big project stress free! And the new windows look incredible!

They had to come back…read moremultiple times to correct the positioning of our storm door which still does not shut properly. Our kitchen door feels like it is locked often, but it's not, it also was poorly installed so you have to turn the knob and feel the grinding and crunching of metal as you open the door. However, the real issue is with the storm door with retractable screens on top and bottom Window pane. We have dogs and do not use the bottom screen in an effort to prevent damage from dog scratching. However, our HVAC stopped working over the weekend therefore I was excited to use the bottom screen feature so I could place a box fan in front of it as soon as I lift it up the bottom of glass, a black device with a metal tracking guide popped out. I have no idea what it is, but it is certainly strong because when I touched it it coiled and almost ripped my finger off. Matty told me over and over again how proud he was of this Door in the quality and my dogs will never be able to scratch the glass but if they ever do, they will replace it because it's a lifetime warranty on their products. Today Matty said oh well that was everything except for storm doors. With the amount of problems we've had with not only damage to our walls which they did not offer to repair, these have never worked to their full potential. I also forgot they didn't put a storm door chain on our door and had to come back like a third or fourth time to do that. This company is incompetent. Their communication sucks and the quality of their products. I'm just not seeing the hype. We've regretted using this company since the day they came to install Which leads me to our tiny bathroom window they smartly add a sticker that says do not press against the screen. It's probably because it's set with a cheap glue. Our screen has never been attached to the windows since the day they installed it we corrected this on our own because we were sick and tired of dealing with this company and their crap. The storm door was not capped off, nor were we given a bag of inserts to cap off our door and outside bugs crawled up in there and could come in my house through the strike plate on the door frame. I could not believe this. ???? The varnish is also coming off....What is happening?? This is not normal and I refuse to believe otherwise. These doors were EXPENSIVE, honey. I am also married to a man who Preaches quality over quantity. He was happy to spend lots of money on these doors to have good ones. These aren't it. There are too many other options out there to be spending this kind of money and be dealing with this many issues. We are now doing a whole home remodel and we are going to be spending some serious money but the best part is it will not be with Meyer windows and doors . I've taken a long time to write this review as I didn't want to make it out of anger. I've had multiple chances but held back. The fact I was verbally told several times about the lifetime warranty, regardless what is on a contract agreement has put me in a way.... The End.

Not only have I been thrilled with the results, I am repeatedly impressed by the service and care that I receive every time. A little over a year ago we found a 5 story house in Mount Adams for the purpose of gathering as a family and making memories in the city that is so special to us. Our new home boasted 3 outdoor deck spaces (over a 1000 square feet) of prime outdoor living along with an exterior in desperate need of renovation and some repair from water damage and the unusual weather extremities that had taken their toll on our "diamond in the rough" project. We initially teamed up with a premier decking company in the area to complete a custom deck on our rooftop level who brought Harper Roofing on board because of their excellent work ethic and reputation. John Harper's worth ethic and reputation are refreshingly accompanied by his approachability, enthusiasm and his "it's all good" attitude when things get challenging. Normally, a client would run from a company's "it's all good" response to the "challenging"...but John and his crew showed no fear in taking on the complexities of our 5 story rooftop project. Harper Roofing isn't your average one trick pony in the roofing business. They are awesome in they can complete your whole exterior project: Siding, gutter installation, metal and high end soffit work, windows, doors and decorative composite stone walls. John partnered with our deck company, exhibiting a respect and appreciation for how their areas of expertise complimented our vision as a client. In addition, John provided us with his honesty, integrity and timely estimates that meticulously detailed the work to be accomplished and separated the material and labor costs. John broke our project down into specific stages and provided an accurate timeline for the completion of each stage. This made the duration and cost manageable. I cannot imagine how we could have completed our exterior renovation without John and his "can do" crew. They worked from before dawn to just after dark" to get the project done. John left us with an absolutely beautiful outer exterior and outdoor spaces that knock our socks off. He also grew a friendship in the process!

I would say that a small child could have painted my house better than they did. It took three…read moremonths of them barely showing up to finish. He kept making excuses that it took three months because I lived far away (an hour) or that I've added work (painting my back porch that's about 4ft by 6ft). He also kept asking for more money through out the job because of some clause that states he can ask for more payment based on percentage of the work done. This lead to me not owing much toward the end and not having anything to withhold from him to get him to do the job. I was swindled. You can see by the photos I uploaded that the work is horrid for a 18.5-20k paint job. It would be horrid for a 5k paint job too. I've tried contacting him to get him to come back because he painted over rotted wood that he was supposed to fix and because of the bad paint job but he keeps putting me off and or not responding- he's always been a bad communicator. If he'd come fix my house I'd give a better rating and remove this one but at this point my house looks like 6 year old painted it unless you're standing thirty feet away. I'd advise that you either go with someone else or hire some one off the streets with zero skill on the cheap - you'd probably get the same results or better and would save several thousand dollars. The photos added aren't one off mistakes. My house looks like that all over. -Paint smudges on other colors -Paint drips - pink drips on white etc -Paint coats too thin -Paint splatters on antique front and back door. -Paint on screen door and screens of windows -Paint splatters on foundation -A gallon of paint found covered by mulch (is that why I had to buy so much extra paint???) -Paint on my roof from spills -Wood areas that were supposed to be fixed that weren't (wouldn't hold this against him if he didn't claim that he'd fix it any wood rot before painting. -Paint drips on light fixtures -Paint spills on decorative rocks and grass (dead grass looking photo is caused by the paint spill) -Paint already cracking in spots due to not removing sagging caulk -Panted over wood rot instead of replacing the wood. Asked that all wood that needed replaced be replaced. -didn't screw all of my down spouts back to the house. -You're supposed to paint over clean surfaces but I have a hard time believing the surface was clean three months after pressure washing. I could go on but I'm sure you all get the point. P.S he texted my personal phone at 11:30 at night after I left my review under his new appearances painting name that he also operates under telling me he won't come fix my house because I left a bad review and said his contract doesn't protect me from poor workmanship anyway (big red flag!). He also said I wasn't patient enough and he was too busy to respond to me - he responded within minutes to my review though with a wall of text so I guess how busy he is is circumstantial. He also justified his workmanship by trying to guilt me since he installed a kiln vent for me for free. I did appreciate this but I didn't ask him to do it for free nor does this negate the poor paint work. He did this to try to tide me over since the paint was taking three months. They are two separate things and one does not justify bad work. I think I paid enough to get better paint results. He also complained that I didn't write a bad review for the roofer he recommended that didn't do a good job - one of his workers fixed some of the poor roof work. I didn't do that because I couldn't find his business name online. Don't have a Justin Kellum do your roofing.... man I need to get better at picking contractors lol. He feels one should remove a bad review BEFORE he fixes the work. That seems backwards to me. He stands by his claim that he did good work but you all can be the judge of that. I'd like for him to fix his work but I doubt that'll ever happen. I'll probably have to talk to a lawyer to see if failing to meet scope of work qualifies as breaking the contract since Michael says my contract doesn't protect me. Probably just screwed

However, we did not want to ice dams that caused winter leaks ignored, especially since we were replacing the roof in the spring when snow would not be expected for another 8-10 months. Both the person who gave the bid and the supervisor of the work proposed the same solution. This made us feel comfortable that what they suggested might work. (Come back next winter!) The day they planned to replace the roof, rain was predicted. They let us know they would come the next day, unless rain was again predicted. They arrived at 7:20 with 8 workers and a supervisor. They finished at 2:30 pm. The roof looks great. We are the third house on our cul de sac to use Deer Park Roofers. We all are happy with their work.

I cannot recommend Deer Park Roofing. I had them install a roof in 2017. I called them shortly…read moreafter installation because I noticed leakage in my garage. A supervisor came out and said flashing "had been put on backwards" but he had fixed it. I believed him and ignored the water stain inside my garage, figuring it was water mark from the old (now-fixed) leak. I recently painted the garage interior, and the water stain reappeared no matter how many times I repainted. Turns out I have something called a "dead valley" over my garage (where roof lines meet). Deer Park Roofing addressed that portion of the new roof installation in 2017 incorrectly, hence the ongoing leak. Now, I have to make repairs to their work at the roof level and replace supporting struts due to the water damage in the garage attic space and repair water damage to the garage interior roof. (I cannot imagine the supervisor who originally came out to fix the leak didn't know how to correctly address a dead valley, even if their original crew didn't. I'd already paid, so no reason to truly address the poor quality workmanship and incompetency.)
