This gas station have a dishonst cashier. I asked for $15 lotto, she give me 13 tickets, but she collect the $15. I didnt notice it was 13 until I was sitting in the vehicle looking over the number, I was 2 tickets short. I went back in and told her what happen, she didn't question and give the money back right away. The other time my kids purchase a slurpee for 4 $1.69 and give them $2. She told the kid no change. This review is for their car wash. Please note that I have been joining their monthly car wash membership for about 2 years now. On June 13, 2026, I arrived the facility at 10:22pm. As usual, I was lining up waiting for my turn. There were 6 vehicles in front of me. Two were right in front of the car wash station, because the space can only fit two vehicles. Four were waiting by the Extra Mile store as the extended line was designated. My vehicle was at the No. 7 spot. At 10:55pm, there were two more vehicles in front of me and I was at the No. 3 spot stilling waiting by the store. A Hispanic mid age female worker, who refused to provide me her name, came out and claimed that a vehicle had to be inside the car wash station by 11:00pm. As a result, she blocked me out. She further claimed that I would get stuck even she let me in. I knew that was a LIE, speaking based on my experience, what I saw in the past and right at that moment. The two vehicles in front of me didn't get blocked out and the second vehicle entered the car wash station well after 11:00pm. I asked her to show me the sign, the sign only indicated from 6am to 11:00pm and NEVER indicated that a vehicle MUST be inside the car wash station by 11:00pm. From doing better business standpoint, u should know well that u have every right to stop people lining up after 11:00pm; however, u need to honor those arriving before 11:00pm. REVIEW ABOUT CAR WASH: As this is truly the only drive through car wash within the area, there is always a long line here during ALL HOURS of the day. Each car (depending on which of the car wash option you choose) will take at least 7-10 minutes each in the wash (one car at a time). I once waited 35-40 minutes in line waiting for 4 cars to finish before it was my turn. You get what you pay for here. Even if you get the most expensive wash option, not all the dirt and environmental contaminants come off. I typically spend at least another 10 minutes after the wash to dry off my car with my own microfiber towels. I would REFRAIN from using the (2) car vacuums they have. You have to pay $1.00 in all quarters (no cash/card option to pay for this) and I was unaware the vacuum use only lasts less than 40 seconds once you drop the quarters in!!! Carwash closes at 11pm and opens as early as 6am. I have a membership here and the quality of the wash has gone down for some reason (doesn't fully remove spots and doesn't fully remove dirt) I just remember it being better a year ago. I used their car wash service and paid for the middle service ($9.99). Went through the wash and my car was sprayed with water and "soap", rinsed, then dried. All less than 2 minutes. What happened to the other stuff that the package is supposed to provide? Wth? No receipt was given too. This is my second time using the car wash service. Called the gas station a few days later (been busy- hence paying for a car wash) and the lady I spoke to refused to give me her name and passed the phone to the manager. He too hesitated giving me his name, but finally did (Naz?!!!- don't know if it's even true) only shared his name after I asked him if he'd share his name or do I have to speak to someone else?I told him what happened and he said he'd check it out and to come back, he'd give me another wash with no problem. I'm from Seattle where car washes aren't needed nearly as often as here in SoCal, and I rarely take my car to get washed unless it gets really dirty. I arrived thinking I'd wait maybe 20 minutes max, when in fact I waited over an hour and a half just to go through a 10-minute car wash that I paid the additional dollar to get the better of the two options available on the screen as you wait for your turn. This Chevron location has been here as long as I can remember... over 25+ years, though of course it has undergone cosmetic upgrades and have also built a car wash in the past year or so. The gas here tends to be a bit on the higher price range but it is realistically the only one in this area. I've never had any issues with any of the attendants at this Chevron whenever I've been here, but that is my own experience so far. There are always windshield squeegees, clean soap, and paper towels as well, which is a huge plus. This location also tends to be on the cleaner side. (There can be dirty gas stations, so I appreciate that attention to detail.) When they started building the car wash, I was quite skeptical of the location as it looked rather inconvenient but they made it work! Prior to COVID-19 and until now, I've always seen long lines waiting to use the car wash. I finally gave in this past week because I just haven't had the time to wash my car. I always hand wash my car but with the heat and other factors, my car was looking rather caked in from the elements. There used to be coupons in Valpaks but we haven't received any lately, probably due to COVID-19. I actually parked first and went in to ask the attendant how the car wash works there because I know some locations require purchasing the car wash first from the inside of the convenience store, but here, you can do either - purchase in-store or at the car wash. Due to the dirtiness of my car, I ended up going for the highest priced car wash. Since it is a drive-thru car wash, I didn't have the highest hopes that my car would be 100% clean but it would at least help in some way shape or form. After I purchased the car wash, I pulled into the waiting line, which was clearly marked on the floor. Each car wash, approximately is about 8ish or so minutes, depending on which car wash each customer chooses. As I pulled up and was next, I typed in my code and voila! I waited until the light was green for me to pull forward and the indicator inside the car wash will either tell you to stop, or back up, if necessary. Once you are parked, make sure to place your car in "park." As the car wash was working, I could feel the pressure of the car wash on the outside of my car. That is some strong air! Of course, there is a warning on the outside before you enter the car wash "WARNING. This is a high pressure care wash, we are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle" which does not surprise me. After my car wash was done, I pulled out when it was green and immediately pulled into a gas spot to wipe off any excess water. The car wash missed a few spots but overall, at least my car was cleaner than it was before. I don't expect to come here too often for the car wash, only if I'm (basically) desperate. I just am afraid of any possible damage due to the high pressure and it also isn't 100% clean for the price. One can pay just a bit more and get a hand car wash from a few local bushiness in the area. read more

Came her to get a carwash, I wanted to try their monthly membership, but I wanted to buy a carwash first to try it out and the lady at the register gave me a code to try it for free! And instructions on how to install the app and sign up were given as well. This must have been a popular place because the line was a bit long but the manager was handing out cold bottled water to all the cars waiting in the line! Car was was really good too! During these unprecedented times of uncertainty with the COVID-19 virus, one would think that people would practice precaution to reduce, if not eliminate the possibility of transmission of infection. My son was at this station this afternoon making a purchase. He was greeted by a coughing attendant who wasn't wearing a mask, did not cough into her elbow, nor did she cover her face. She instead coughed into a dirty rag that she had in her hand and she then used that same rag that she coughed into to wipe down the front counter! As if this wasn't bad enough, she proceeded to give my son his purchase with those same dirty, infected, festering fingers. Not once did she wipe her hands, or use at the very least a hand sanitizer. She just went about as if this was normal behavior. When I called to get the manager's name and number to report the incident, the attendant acted as if she didn't speak English, so I then spoke to her in Spanish and she acted as if she didn't know that either. Well, dang, what language do you speak? And of course, she doesn't know who to contact in the event of an emergency. I feel so safe knowing that in the event of an emergency or accident, someone's life is in the hands of this capable individual who apparently has no manager contact information. I love the Extra Mile store attached the the Chevron station. If I'm low of gas I would make an emergency pit stop and fill up. But I'm normally at this location for the "cinnamon coffee" and taking advantage of the managers special, any size coffee cup for 99 cents! So small or large cup is 99 cents for coffee. I remember they used to have the stamp card for buying 5 coffees and getting 1 free. I had like 3 stamp cards filled up and used back in the day. Before the car wash machine was built on the lot. I forgot who mentioned to me, maybe the owner one morning. The cinnamon coffee cut off point is roughly at 10:30am to 11 am. There were many times where I came in and the coffee was either gone or stopped. Missed it by a little each time. Apparently I'm one of few individuals that enjoy the cinnamon coffee from time to time. Staff and management are always hard working and friendly during those long shifts throughout the day. But hopefully the 99 cent coffee is a regular thing because I would buy a cup before heading over to Frank and Son Collectible Show or elsewhere for the day. read more

They're currently building a drive thru car wash but this gas station is still open during construction. The prices are average and usually mimic surrounding gas stations. I get a tad bit annoyed when the machine tells me that it is printing my receipt and nothing comes out. It's even more annoying when the screen tells you that your receipt is available inside. This is a small issue that occurs at all gas stations though. Don't forget to enter your Vons/Albertsons number before paying to save on gas! read more

Don't bother spending your time and money trying to get a car wash at this station. I tried multiple times this morning to get a wash and left after 40 minutes without a clean vehicle. The person behind the counter Brian said the wash breaks down every 50 customers. He was rude and insulting me calling me a beggar when I asked for a courtesy car wash. This is after I had paid then refunded but had tried multiple ways of paying but because I was the 50th customer he didn't want to do anything to fix the problem. I now have called the corporate office left and called the station owner to complain, leaving messages, closed on weekends. BUYER BEWARE - no gas at this gas station: stopped by here the last three times and each time, gas pumps not working. Go to another nearby gas station (there's one on Amar in Walnut) and everything works well. Gas pumps won't read credit cards and then lock them in and won't return them. Press the "Help" button and nothing happens. First time around, okay, problems happen. Second time around, made me late for work, but okay still want to support local business. This review is solely based on the car wash. The price for regular wash is $9.00 and $24.99 monthly pass but with a coupon is $4.99 and $19.99. The self car wash is different from others because there is no track to guide the car and brushes. This avoids scratches to the car, tires and rims. There is only one controlling arm that washes and drys the car. There are 6 phases in washing the car: drive the car slowly to wash from front to back and underneath. Then drive until stop light comes on. The machine cleans, washes, tri-foam, sealant and spot free air dry, which feels like category 4. There are clips of the car wash. The manager at this Chevron is extremely rude and unprofessional. We are longtime customer of this station and Walnut residents and will never go back. My daughter went to get a car wash and was not familiar with the way the line works. She motioned for 2 cars to go ahead of her and one car didn't go. My daughter was then told by the manager Liliana Padilla that she had to leave the line because the guy called to complain. She did not ask for my daughters side of the story when she tried to talk she was rude and kept saying she had to leave. When she asked for her name she refused to give it out. Pros: - car does get clean - relatively cheap (esp if you're using a coupon) - there's a vacuuming apparatus outside the car wash station so you can self- vacuum your car. Not sure if there's an additional fee for this Cons: - the line and wait time can be very long. The most expensive car wash ($9) takes approximately 7 minutes, so if there are four or five cars in front of you it could easily take a half hour before it's your turn - it is very awkwardly placed and frustrating to move about the gas station because of how the car wash is placed and how the line wraps around the gas station - car wont be 100% dry (but you get what you pay for, and if it really matters to you, you could use your own microfiber cloth) Tips: - find a coupon. You can get the most expensive wash for $5 one time (originally $9), or $20 monthly pass. - there are three types of car washes (see photo for package details). Get the most expensive with the coupon. - if you don't wash the car enough to justify buying a monthly pass, you can buy a one time ticket and use it another day (but it does have a one month expiration date). This would be helpful if the car wash line is long, and anytime you're driving by and you notice that the line is short or empty, you can quickly get it done. Just keep your ticket/receipt with the code on it in your car for easy access. - some people will try to cut in line, but not all of them do it intentionally. Went there today again at 1:45pm and once again the people that work there have no idea how to do there job. Went in paid cash wanted my $0.20 off per gallon, girl behind the counter said it's there then went out and started pumping gas and noticed that the the price never change. Went in and told her and she like I did do it. Will with the 0.20 off the diesel should have been $3.79 and $3.99. Every time I go in and pay there's always an issue.
