Totally reminded me of Ebisu in Japan when I visited there this past year. In terms of their beauty and skincare, there are products from Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan. Definitely lots of sun screen and whitening serum products. As for toys and collectibles, there are wide variety of blind boxes, miniature collectibles, trading cards, and plushies. Lots of Japan imported snacks and drinks for sale. I was very intrigued with their in store claw machines and novelty toy blind boxes. They even have wooden musical boxes for display. Overall pretty cool spot. Staff super friendly. They just had their soft opening a month ago so the store is well stocked and very clean. Will be back here again to buy more goodies for myself!

They…read moresection off a part of the parking lot for an entertainment stage, food vendors, and inflatables and they open up the inside of the former Rite Aid for some carnival games (punching bag and stick catcher), artists, merch vendors, some tables and free play console games with a Smash tournament I believe. There's also a photobooth inside too. Outside, when we went to the Natsu Festival, there were large Poke'mon inflatables of Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Bulbasaur for photo ops, which is cute. Also very funny that the shopping kiosks still have the Anaheim Garden Walk signs still on them. I guess that's where it came from. It's honestly like a super mini 626 Night Market, or more accurately a super mini Anime Impulse considering there's an indoors vendor area with lots of vendors focused on anime and other "nerdy" franchises, with some artists mixed in too. I did see some cosplayers as well. It's just the inside part can get quite hot and stuffy with the weather and the number of people visiting inside, hopefully they up the AC when the hotter summer months hit. Prices are reasonable and fair considering they are night market prices and that entry into the event is completely free. Parking can get a bit crowded, but the farther you are away from the festival, there's more spots and the plaza itself is quite large. Lots of vendors giving out free samples and are super helpful and very into hawking their goods and wares. Great to have this sort of event very close to our area and no need for me to travel out to Arcadia or into DTLA or something.

There were a decent amount of food vendors, but the food was pretty hit or miss for me. The spiral potato with sour cream seasoning was WAY too salty. I actually had to bring it back and ask for one with no seasoning at all. We also tried a beef skewer that took a pretty long time and wasn't very good. The chicken kebab from Kebab Land was probably my favorite thing we tried. We also got popcorn chicken from Popin Chicken, but it was pretty dry and I probably wouldn't order it again. One thing to know is that a lot of vendors only take tap, chip, or Apple Pay. I had a Visa gift card that needed to be swiped and couldn't use it. Some vendors also charge a small credit card fee, so I'd recommend bringing cash. The biggest issue for me was the raffle at the end of the night. They kept pulling numbers for people who had already left, so it dragged on forever. Since you have to be present to win, I think they should have had everyone who was still there put their tickets into a new pile before the drawing. They also ended up giving some raffle prizes away through random activities instead, which didn't seem very fair to everyone who had been waiting with tickets. Overall, it's a cute idea for a local night market and I'd probably come back to walk around and try different vendors, but the raffle system definitely needs improvement. Also, be prepared for a LOT of smoke from the food vendors when you first walk in.

It's super new as the lady working there was still setting up a shelf when I visited and there's a lot of stock still in boxes. NO PICTURES, but no biggie since I took pics of what I bought afterwards. PRO-TIP: Slight discount if you pay by Zelle or Venmo, I believe, so keep that handy. LOTS of snacks here, many which, funny enough I haven't seen elsewhere (even in DuoDuo). With the rise of Chinese snack shops and being found in a very Chinese time in your life, the competition can be a bit tough, but I think XC Snack Shop really stands out. $1 for the Premium Peach Pure gummy snacks and for some vitamin C mikan (citrus) gummies. Those aren't even $1.75 in Daiso, they're almost $3-4 which is insane that they're only $1 here. 2 for $5 Japanese imported Kit Kats when I've seen them go for $6+ when they're not on sale. Those imported ketchup fries chips and Asian Lays chips, and exotic flavored Oreos (I got peach muscat, berries, birthday cake, and matcha) are also like 2 for $5 where I've seen them upsold for much more. The deals and values are just too good here. If I have to get "souvenirs" or bring something more unique or fancy to the office, this will be my go to. They also have blind box items and other cute character goods in the front, including keychains and a lot of Keroppi toothbrush holders for some reason. And in the back they have things like green oil for aches and pains, motion sickness pills, hemorrhoids cream and other imported over the counter pharmaceutical goods, which worked out great for our friend who was feeling a bit ill before our dinner.
