I was visiting back in Vermont early October 2024. I went to this nail salon because I had taken my mother there before she passed, several times. While the older gentleman started on my pedi, he scrubbed so hard that he ripped the skin and was bleeding, I yelped and he went across it again! Then moved onto the manicure. It took this man 2 1/2 hrs for a mani pedi...2 woman came an hour AFTER me for mani pedis and they were done and out of there an hour BEFORE me. The other note to this, that cut lasted for over a month before it would close up. No one apologized, and then he pointed to a note on his table that said cash for gratuities...he actually thought I was going to tip him for the hatchet job! If I could give a negative star review, I would. This place is atrocious. I have been here twice. The first time, the owner refused service to a black woman who walked in and then proceeded to speak to her clients in the chairs about the woman's race and how she probably wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. The second time i went back, only out of desperation, and she refused service to my friend because she bites her nails. She proceeded to tell her that her nails "looked scary." WORST pedicure in my life!!! Nails cut uneven, cut in so far on the sides of big toe I will end up with ingrown toenails. But that's what keeps you having to go back.... Had to cancel my appointment with my regular amazing pedicurist. I thought what could hurt, have the polish removed slight trim, no color, no massage. Just clean me up. ‼‼‼‼‼WORST SET OF NAILS EVER. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON.‼‼‼‼‼‼‼I went for the first time today and had confidence in them due to the reviews but no. No no no no no. Had an 11am apt didn't get into the chair until 11:25, he didn't even start my nails for another 15 minutes. Barley put my nails on & had to replace an entire hand after starting to file. Placed my left pointer finger on extremely crooked & I asked him to redo it 3 times & he did & it still ended up crooked AF. Asked for coffin & he put on the acrylic powder FIRST & then attempted to cut and file my nails into the coffin shape, that resulted in the acrylic cracking (shocker) and having to replace MORE NAILS. Then for no reason at all repeatedly cut off and redid my left pinky SEVEN TIMES YES SEVEN TIMES. FOR NO REASON IT WAS FINE. And then during the process of redoing my pinky files my nails for an hour. Just files them. They're all crooked still. Made me bleed he filed my nails for so long. A normal set of acrylics takes 45- 1 hour and he filed my nails for an hour ALONE. Took 2 hours & 10 minutes to get a set of yellow nails done. It he stations are unclean & he was acting like I was the first set of nails he's ever done IN HIS LIFE forget being licensed. Also did not speak a single word to me just grabbed my hands and pulled and even when I tried to be helpful and give him a hand he slapped it cause it was the wrong one. Not like I knew as he wasn't saying anything to me. Then the manager proceeded to tell me that instead of the normal 40$ set mine was going to be 55$ cause I got the coffin shape. I'm sorry? Nina the person in charge at this nail salon is rude and sneers at customers. I had a 6 pm appointment tonight for a gel manicure and pedicure. I arrived a few minutes before, to be met by many women waiting to get their nails done. I asked Nina how long would I have to wait since I had a 6 pm appt. she gave me a snarky mean grin chewing on a candy bar and said she had no idea, everyone there had an appt. which I believe to be an untruth. I've watched them accept walk-ins as they arrive, now I realize the appointments are NEVER honored. I said "can you give me an idea, so I can decide whether or not I can wait" and she literally sneered at me like I was some kind of idiot. I smiled at her and said, "I see." And walked out the door. I have watched her do this to many as I sat as a customer (spending $100 per appointment) tonight was the end of the line. I will never go back and neither should you! read more

If there was a negative rating available I would give it. We do not recommend this business. My daughter and some friends went there to get nails done for prom. They scheduled appointments weeks ago to fit it in between other commitments. Only to wait to be taken 45 mins past their appointment time, and the owner was such a bully, so mean and rude as hell. She yelled at my daughter when she was trying to explain what she wanted. She was waving her arms and telling her she'd just cut them off if she didn't like them. My daughter was intimidated and scared of her! The girls laughed as a reaction basically of not knowing what to do and she started yelling at them again telling them to not laugh and it wasn't funny. No, you're right N Nails, what's not funny is your deplorable customer service and abusive behavior! The nails are not evenly placed or shaped nicely, they are extremely thick, raised 1/8" up off her own nails, and the tips may as well be a ski jump but MOST importantly they hurt! They should not hurt or feel like they are pulling her own nail off. She has gotten nails done elsewhere many times in the past and they have never hurt her or looked this horrible. The owner kept telling her this is how they had to be, and no, that's not true!! Clearly the owner does not listen or respect her customers, nor provide a quality or comfortable product. $65 for a shitty job and terrible experience. Yay! Way to go N Nails! We returned to talk to her about it and see if they would fix them or give a refund so we can get them fixed because they hurt her. Owner locked the doors before they were supposed to close and refused to have a civil conversation as any professional business owner would have. I've since read other reviews people have made and this is not an isolated experience, it seems the norm for this shit hole. I am appalled at what I've read from others. She said no refunds but I'm sorry, you can post a no refund sign all you want but you have a responsibility to provide a product that doesn't hurt people and you are liable when you do hurt them. Giving them one more chance to make it right tomorrow when we return. But don't make the same mistake the girls did today, save yourself from a horrible experience and do not patron this business! read more

Made an appointment over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment, they said they were a 1/2 hour behind and asked if I could come back. I agreed and came back in a 1/2 hour. No one looked up or ever checked in with me again. I sat for another 1/2 hour (so now 1 hour past my appointment time) and ended up leaving because at this point I was sitting with four other clients waiting....... Poor, slow service and the rudest individual I've ever encountered owns and tries to operate this shop. Argues with customers, often doesn't bother to answer the phone so that it's nearly imposible to make an appointment. When I did finally get one for Gel nails and a pedicure, owner insisted on doing it herself while she continued to wait on walk-ins and answer dozens of phone calls Nails and pedi took 3 hours and she complained the entire time that I should have come Monday or Tuesday instead of the Thursday appointments he had booked! Two other friends complained recently last week and 2 weeks ago of waiting hours while she flirted from phone call to customer to customer to screaming at staff to walk-in. Work is good but there are a lot of better run salons with polite, organized staff. Nothing special and certainly nothing relaxing about this place. read more

Worst experience at a nail salon I've ever had. I had an appointment at 12 for a pedicure and when the man finally called me back it was 12:50. He turned the water on, then walked out the door got in his vehicle and drove a way! I sat there for 5 minutes then said excuse me, can you tell me what's going on??? The nasty lady started yelling at me that she was coming. I explained that I had been waiting for an hour and would like to know what was going on. She told me an hour wait was nothing. Really???? It is to me, I have a job and if I kept my customers waiting an hour, I wouldn't have any! Just totally unprofessional. Don't know how they can run a business like that. Tried to make an appt and was told she was putting me with someone else because she never knows what I want( was a fill) and it takes to long and would make her late for the next customer. Might I add three times I asked for a new set and the last time she even said she would book an hour for me. That day she was running over a half hour behind and didn't have time to do a new set then complained how hungry she was. It's not my fault she's slow or behind but I seem to be the one to suffer.
