This was my first and LAST time going to this alteration shop. I dropped my pants off on Saturday with the expectation of picking them up on the following Saturday. I arrived at noon and she told me they was not ready because the ticket said 3pm. You had my pants 7 days and your excuse is, I'm 3 hours early! When I arrived at 3:30 to get my pants that she charged me $32 dollars to hem, they fit the same way they did when I dropped them off. I know she did not do anything to my pants and I called her and let her know how displeased I was with the service and would NEVER come back there EVER again. read more

I took a dress there to be altered. The dress was a $100 dress from Amazon & kind of bordering on costume quality. It was for my daughter's wedding (it was a costumed wedding). I loved the dress & was prepared to spend up to $400 on a dress initially. I was thrilled to find this for only $100 & was prepared to spend up to $100 on alterations if needed. It was needed & that's exactly how much the alterations cost. I dropped the dress off a week or so before I needed it & we arranged pick up for the day before I needed it. It was to be hemmed & taken in on the bodice. When I went to pick it up, the bodice was perfect but the hem seemed uneven on either side of the split front skirt. I'm not sure if it was the shoddy construction of the dress or the hem job or maybe I'm crooked? But she had me leave the dress, I came back 2 hrs later & it was fixed satisfactorily. Due to the nature of the dress, having multiple layers of tulle, having an imperfect hem line was not a huge deal to me. read more

My first time here getting a few clothing items altered. The owner Na did a wonderful job. Prices were descent. I had a dress shorten, pants hemmed, dress strap taken in, and sides taken in on a jumpsuit for $49. They do same day pants hem if needed. I love their hours. They don't close until 7pm. read more

Especially one time when I wanted my gi altered. She said it will be ready in almost a week, but I asked for it in two days and to my surprise she made it happen. Caveat: I am very, very particular about clothing quality, I spend on quality clothing, and I have high expectations for my tailors. The work done for me wasn't terrible, but it wasn't excellent either. I brought in a high-end ballgown to be hemmed. When I first got there at opening time, the store was not open. I waited 10 minutes and a woman arrived (and apologized). The gown had a stripe pattern and the new hem did not keep a straight line with the stripe... which doesn't indicate attention to detail. (The gown I brought in was perfectly hemmed in alignment with the stripe... so it wasn't the fault of mismatched/poorly hemmed fabric to begin with.) Finally, the gown I brought in had hem tape on the interior, to keep the hem smooth and to somewhat protect it from where my shoes would be hitting it as I walk. I asked for it to be done the same way, but instead, I received back a skirt with a dressmakers hem (and no hem tape). In short, the gown was hemmed to the length I wanted, so I guess I achieved what I needed - yet I received back a lower quality piece of clothing than the one I brought in, and one which may not hold up to normal wear as well. read more
