    Blue Matcha

Cute cozy cafe to work at! The inside of the cafe is a warm, cozy, and older/vintage vibe (not quite sure what the word to describe it is). A lot of their furniture is wooden, with brick flooring, and it just feels like a warm place to be. Their menu has some interesting items, such as the blue matcha (that I got), and some food as well. Both my friend and I got the blue matcha and we had divided opinions. I personally didn't enjoy it as I thought it tasted too much like grass (but I normally love green matcha), meanwhile my friend LOVED it. Service was alright here.

I stopped by Nabulu on a Friday afternoon just before the holidays to catch up with a friend. What we got: - Americano - Oat Vanilla Latte Final Thoughts: There is a sign at the front that says to head to the back if you are working, which creates a nice separation from those here to chat and those that need to focus. There are a couple 2-seater tables towards the front and a bigger community table in the back. That being said, it was still quite cramped and my friend and I ended up sitting down on a stool and a bench that also had some games stacked on it. I wouldn't come with a group larger than 2 as I don't think we'd be able to find seating, but Nabulu is open until 11pm which most cafes aren't so this is a good option if you need a cafe later in the day.

The interior of this place was so gorgeous. It was lively and there were separate spaces to work and hang out. Lots of delicious pastries in the case and the hot latte I got was well made and not burnt. Saw some really cool latte art!

Nabulu Coffee started as a specialty coffee trailer...which now has a storefront! They are located at the old location of Creeds Coffee Bar (Creeds moved down the street). They share the big space with Typist Studio, an art and gallery event space. They have a variety of caffeinated beverages for sale as well as baked goods. There is scattered seating throughout the coffee shop as well. I stopped by Nabulu Coffee around noon on a weekend. The place was not too busy and I ordered a flat white. The pastries on display also looked extremely tempting as well. My coffee was made within a reasonable time and my flat white was made well. The space was big but the seating throughout had a unique touch. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a quiet space with great coffee if you'd like to get some work done or hang out with some friends!

It's really close to this shop I grab my glass from (you should also check them out, they're the best) so I would most likely stop by here again. I ended up trying their matcha coconut drink because of the promotion they had (buy one get one free, it was a good deal). The drink itself was refreshing, creamy, and had a nice balance between the earthy matcha and the sweetness from the coconut. It did feel lighter than expected, maybe because of the coconut base. The atmosphere also stands out, it has that nostalgic vibe that people seem to associate with the brand. The drinks are a little pricey without the promotion, and the sweetness might be a bit much depending on what you order (it was a tad bit sweet). But overall, I'd come back to explore more of the menu.

I know that the ube trend is taking over but PLEASE before you advertise your product as such, DO YOUR RESEARCH and make sure that you are actually serving the thing. I'm Filipino and not only did I feel so offended by how this tasted, I also felt like I should be refunded. First of, the ube mixture was RED. I don't know where you're getting your ube mixture from but ube is PURPLE. The powder was chunky and did not at all taste like ube. There are benches outside and counters where you can stand and eat, giving it a casual, quick-stop kind of vibe. It's also part market, so you can browse a selection of goodies while you're there. I tried the Antico Parma sandwich and it was delicious--definitely a spot I'd go out of my way for again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.
