I recently went to Nachi's for the third time, and my stylist was Tranace. Each time, she took excellent care of my hair, gave me great styles (two-strand twists the first time and silk presses the other two times) and was just in general, great. She is a master of her craft and not only did a good job in the salon, but gave me advice on how to care for my hair after. I highly recommend this salon. I went back.... I'm glad I still have hair on my head. I wanted a short style and sew in since I'm deathly scared and scarred from hair loss due to hair glue and bonding. So why do I have glue in my head and I paid for a sew in? "Lord, girl we need to roll up there" and "You need to sue her" are the responses that I got when I went to another hair dresser to fix the p.o.s. Job that she did to my hair. You're wrong for this one. I still have glue in my hair THE NEXT WEEK LATER. I hated my hair, she told me she'd call me back to fix it, I called her... texted... crickets were better at responding. Sigh... another hair dresser bites the dust. Let's not mention the roaches by the sink where hair gets washed. Can someone recommend a professional hair dressing environment where I won't get there at 8:30 and leave (LITERALLY) a full work shift later that knows how to do hair and won't break my bank??? I shouldn't have to be at a hair shoppe for 8 hours to pay you for shoddy weave and then have GLUE from a SEW IN. Maybe Mimi and Trenace are better weavers... either way, I won't be back. read more

MY #HairDisaster Some lessons are learned the hard way... On Sunday, January 17th, I went to Nachi's Beauty Salon at the suggestion of my daughter. I wanted to get my dead ends trimmed and the hair at my neckline tapered. My daughter and her friend had a previous hair appointment with Tranace, and came back with good results. While, they wear their hair straight and curly; I wear my natural hair in a two-strand twist out style. Tranace used shears to cut my hair, but she never sectioned my hair to trim the ends as I had informed her. The way she cut my hair was reckless, and the results were disastrous! After washing my hair, she quickly braided it in cornrows (it was to hide her bad cutting ). Since my hair was still damp, I sat under the dryer for 15-20 minutes, paid for the mediocre service, and left. On January 17th, I took out the cornrows, so I could twist my hair. I was shocked to discover that the left side of my hair was shorter than the right side, she left very little hair at the nape of my neck, instead tapering it as requested. She failed to just cut my dead ends and thoughtlessly cut hair. Basically, I paid for a botched up haircut, and threw away my money on substandard salon service. In retrospect, I realize as a Senior citizen, Tranace DID NOT take the same time and effort with my hair as she did with a customer, who came before my arrival. That's disrespectful and shady. She spent less than twenty minutes to give me a reckless/raggedy hair cut and shampoo; and I spent more time [@20 minutes] sitting under the dryer. I have no respect for people, who care more about getting my money than providing good service and showing me respect! WARNING: IF YOU DON'T wear a perm, get color, or need your straight hair trimmed, I advise you to stay away from this establishment!! In the future, I will be looking for and reviewing shops that specialize in natural hair care and styling. Until my hair grows back, I will be wearing coils for a while--thanks to a family friend. read more

Pros- Owner is very nice, down to earth and good at what she does. Inexpensive service. Cons- Unnecessarily Long wait times, while she talks to her home girls about male drama. After the long wait I hoped my hair would at least last, it didn't. 24 hours later it was undone. The shampoo lady was extremely unprofessional. Low quality hair products. So based off some reviews and after getting an INSANE price at another "special" salon..I ended up here and I'm kinda glad I did... My stylist, Mimi, sat down with me to discuss the style I wanted and which hair to get to make it happen which I loved. She didn't look at me all crazy because I have natural hair-bonus! Anyways, in the end my hair came out looking better than I could have imagined...Mimi definitely has skills..love the razor cuts she does. Doesn't really matter which stylist you get because all the chicks were walking out like they had shelled out some serious $$$$-yea the hair looked that good..whether relaxer, press, weave, couple tracks whatever! ...which brings me to: prices! Completely reasonable..don't risk those bootleg $50 weaves or pay with your first child elsewhere :P but Laaaaawd have mercy the wait was loooooong. I should have known better to not go in on Saturday regardless of making an appointment..ah well I look good.. but I don't have 6-7 hours to waste sitting around so I'll be looking elsewhere that keeps an appointment book! read more

Tranace is the bomb!!! I love how she makes your weaves look soooo natural!!! She knows how to layer and know the style that fits your face!!! I just have to give a shout out to Nachi's and Tranance she is the bomb!!! I always get compliments on my hair whether I wear a weave or my natural long hair! She is good!!! This salon is by far one of the best salons in the Metro Atlanta area. I've been to lots of salons/stylist who are either inexperienced or just too dang expensive.... My main stylist there is TranaceSabb aka "TheMiracleWorker" ... When i first visited her my hair was damaged from all the "wrong weave doings" from my other stylist. She suggested deep cond't , trimmed edges and some other remedies that a true professional should know about. I hadn't web able to wear my own hair until I began seeing her on a regular basis. She has nurtured my hair , brought it back to life , and showed me how to have a happy , healthy weave. She's the type of stylist that will make your hair look exactly like the picture u show her OR the image that you've envisioned... Now with greatness you should have to expect that she is quite busy everyday of the week. I've seen her work on some Sundays to please her clients. I have been going to Nachi's Hair Studio for years now. My stylist is Tranace Saab, who is amazing at what she does. Not only can she slay any hair style you are seeking, she's also very knowledgeable of what is necessary to keep your hair healthy and strong. The atmosphere in the shop is very inviting, and you're sure to get a good laugh while you are there. Patience is a virtue and all of the stylists at Nachi's have a fairly large clientele, especially Tranace....so be patient and know that you will look FABULOUS before you leave there. Only get your hair done here if you want to be bald on your edges and spend all day in the salon... very unprofessional and only the owner is licensed.. non of the other stylist are licensed.. this is more like a assembly line for hair.. one person will shampoo another will braid and finally ur stylist will sew you down... no different than getting ur hair done in somebodies kitchen with roaches.. avoid at all cost! read more

I just moved to town and in my experience, finding a new doctor causes less anxiety than finding a new stylist does! I went to see Tranace on a referral from a friend. I was actually past due for a re-install and also needed a botched layering job to be fixed as best it could be.....AND I suddenly had a date that weekend. Tranace was so professional, kind and reassuring on the phone. I even had to call back a couple of days after making my appointment to switch the day because of work. She had the appointment time open, but still....some would have been put out by my having to switch up. Her assistant Champagne was so sweet, and hilarious and I can say too that I love how she braids!! Huge sigh of relief to have very small, flat braids that don't sit up all weird and bumpy making the whole thing look a mess.... but rather nice and flat for a more natural finished look after the install goes in. Tranace....well she was so professional, as I said... and just nice. Seems that should be a given but it's not always guaranteed everywhere you go. I can also say that this is THE quickest install I've every had!! I was surprised and thrilled to be in and out of there, with a take down, wash and condition, sit under hair dryer, little bit of blow drying and install within about 4 hours. I'm accustomed to allll day long. Lol I'll definitely be back to see Tranace. She's wonderful and so was her assistant, Champagne. ;-) read more

This place was clearly the best in the business. I tried another that had lower price, but I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional they were. I went to Nachi's to fix what the other place did, and I was treated like a queen! I have never had such a good experience with the care of my hair. Tranace (the owner) is one of the best in the business! I've gone to her for several years and have never been disappointed in my sew-ins. I get compliments all the time. I like the fact that she makes the sew-ins look very natural and her prices aren't out the roof. I've seen weaves for much more $$ that couldn't compare to her work. She also does perms, naturals, cuts, you name it. Tranace always aims to please her customers. As far as the time it takes, she recently renovated the salon and I've noticed that she's really working to improve in that area as well. I went to this salon with my daughter to get our hair done and the women were so unprofessional. They where talking with a male customer about homosexuality, penis and other nasty talk in front of my 10 year old daughter. Also the stylist that styled my hair did not use any oil sheen when she flat ironed my hair. She was not pleasant at all and I even tipped her. read more
