I ended up going back up to the window and talking to the employees working and letting them know how great it was. He informed me that the owner is actually from Texas so it makes since he knows how to execute a brisket well. The elotes was good, I've never had it with jalapeños it was different but I wasn't mad about it. I've been to a lot of different restaurants around the area that chop up their coleslaw very finely where it's kind of like a mush which I'm not a fan of, has a weird texture. Sadly, since moving to Tennessee, most grocery store meat department employees haven't a clue. I just happened to be driving by and saw the sign advertising custom cuts of beer. I decided to check it out. I went inside and it's literally a functioning butcher shop. They know what they are doing here. From the front house staff to the butchers, they've got it covered. And, for their try tip, it was only $12.99 a pound which is a great price, especially since steaks at Krogers are going for $14.99-$18.99 a pound. I was so impressed, that I bought three with that delicious 1/4" fat cap fully covering the one side. I took it home and put it right on the grill. Delicious!
