Love this place and supporting a local family business. By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The decor is minimal but the place is extremely clean and well maintained. Staff here are friendly and polite. We enjoyed all of our food, including the fresh guacamole to start. I had a vegetarian combo for my main with a chalupa and a quesadilla. The portions here are very large and everyone in my group had leftovers. We also had margaritas-- these are a bang for your buck. Even the small size is pretty big! read more

Absolutely wonderful Texas fajitas for 2! We really enjoyed these and had 2 to go boxes with leftovers for lunch the next day! Their homemade hit sauce is delicious and so are their tortilla chips. The server was very attentive and it's a small place but everyone is enjoying themselves. A small bar at the back is popular and stayed busy while we were there. Best steak fajita I've ever had...this is my go-to dish to order at Mexican restaurants. The one I had for lunch today was exceptional. The quality of the steak was terrific--lean, flavorful and tender. The sauteed veggies were plentiful and tasted very fresh. The beans that came with my dish were wonderful, too. And a cute little side salad plus the corn tortillas left me full and smiling. Friendly, sweet service. Very reasonably priced. And Nachos had the most spic and span sparkling bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant. Altogether, a five star lunch experience. We'll be back!! read more

The restaurant is located in a shopping center near the Food Lion. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the place as soon as we walked into the restaurant. Our server was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the chips and salsa. We purchased the cheese sauce which was very flavorful. We ordered chicken fajitas which came with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole. We also had the Hawaiian fajitas, (beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops, peppers, onions, and pineapple). The scallops were huge. We also had the Camarones a La Crema (grilled shrimp with sour cream and cheese dip sauce). The entrees were huge and everything was delicious. We were planning on eating at a different restaurant tonight's get but didn't want to wait in a long line so we decided to eat at Nachos. So glad we did we had the best authentic Mexican dinner. I got the Hawaiian fajitas there was enough food for two people. The rice and beans were even good. Be sure to order the guacamole and queso it was so good. Everyone was happy with their meals. We will be back next time we are in Atlantic Beach. read more

Everything was wrong and the waitress argued with us. I ordered a bean chalupa and a bean burrito because I am a vegetarian. I was very clear about no meat. It came with ground beef. Another member of our group ordered soft shell tacos. They came with hard shells and a piece of plastic in it. The waitress argued about what came on different items and refused to let an adult order chicken tenders from the kids menu, despite offers to pay double and requests for an adult version of chicken tenders. The food is inconsistent between visits, every single order in our group of four was wrong, and the waitress argued about everything with us. The food is bland too and not worth the money. Disappointing. None of us will be back. read more
