I love Nadia Cakes! I've had them as occasional treats for the past two years, and every time our cupcakes are moist and the frosting soft (i.e. fresh.) My favorite is the cheesecake cupcake with berry compote. Please note that is a refrigerated cupcake, so it is in a separate display case and easy to miss. Some of their cupcakes are considered staples that they carry every day, but many are daily specials. Check the online menu or call ahead before you come in if you absolutely have to have one of their specialty cupcakes. (Personally, I know that any time I drop by they will have something divine.) My husband agrees that the cupcakes are always moist and delicious. I've read a few reviews where the complaint was they were too sweet, but I don't want a savory cupcake. The frosting is buttercream, and never gritty, so I don't find it too sweet. Honestly, if you don't care for sweets, don't buy a cupcake. The ambiance is charming boutique. The only reason that I deducted one star is that I noticed a market decline in customer service over the past year. From 2011 to 2012, the staff were absolutely delightful, well-informed, and friendly but efficient. By the end of 2013, there was an almost surly feel by some, but not all, of the staff. Has there been some turnover? I recall one instance where I actually left and came back later so I could be helped by someone else. They have a history of excellent customer service, so I think perhaps they need to emphasize attitude and customer service when training new employees. Great service by knowledgeable staff is one of this bakery's charms, and I hope that is preserved. Maybe the owner could use mystery shoppers to provide constructive ways that customer service can be improved by the few staff who need help in this area. UPDATE: The owner contacted me to learn more about my experience. She seemed truly concerned that customer service needed to be improved. Since, then, I have returned to Nadia's several times, and always received excellent, friendly service. The way a business handles complaints matters to me. Nadia's really came through and improved. It's the same welcoming boutique atmosphere that I remembered. Thank you, Nadia's! I have still never once received a cupcake that wasn't moist and delicious. I sure love Nadia's cupcakes. The brownie cupcake is so delicious!! Just might be my favorite, but then again there's the Red Velvet, the Chocolate one with white chic chips on top, the chocolate strawberry. Hmm... I would say that they are all pretty bomb! I've came here a few times and their cupcakes are pretty tastes most of the time. Sometimes they could be dry but that's rare. I'm a simple girl so I like the vanilla or chocolate. I haven't had the chance to order a cake yet but that's on my list for the year. I'm on a mission to find my favorite bakery in the av since I'm such a foodie but so far nadias is doing good things. read more

Not a big fan. The cake part is consistently dry and the buttercream too sweet. I have tried Nadia's on different days and times but the results are the same -disappointed. The staff has always been nice, though. I wish it lived up to the hype. read more

I was looking for cake vendors for my wedding and I thought of this place. We got in touch through email, emailed them back never got a response back. It was a blessing that I did not waste my time trying to reach them after waiting for months for a response back. Anyways, there Cakes are way to expensive for how they taste. I found another cake vendor in Valencia. It's affordable, it's taste delicious and the best part is my fiancé who is picky tried for the first time and immediately was obsessed as was I. The first time I saw the cakes and cupcakes I was amazed. Absolutely beautiful! They are so moist and delicious! Never tasted better cupcakes in my life. I highly recommend Nadia Cakes! We were lucky enough to get a 4 pack of their awesome "My Bloody Valentine" cupcakes for Valentine's day. Brownie on the bottom, Red Velvet on top, filled with fudge and topped with a heavenly Belgian Chocolate cream cheese frosting. Heaven! read more

Not sure why this place doesnt have 5 stars. My wife was having a bad day a couple days ago, so on the way to the gym i decided to stop buy and get her a cupcake to cheer her up. They had quite a few to choose from. I ended up getting a 4 pack and since it was kinda warm out, they had no problem keeping them until i got out of the gym. And YES...they were delicious. Always delicious!! I recently bought the Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream, Brownie, Coconut Rum, and Triple Chocolate cupcakes and they all were amazing. The flavors are spot on and the cake is so moist. They do offer a military discount which I love! Only issue is that they are $3.50 each when bought individually, otherwise I love this place! read more

Customer service is still good, but the quality of the cupcakes has gone down. I used to stop by about once every other week on my way home from work, but since the last couple of dry cupcakes, I might be quitting my cupcake habit. The cupcakes tasted ok, but not nearly as good and fresh as they used to be. I understand that in the desert it's a crap shoot for baking (I am a home baker who's become lazy), but I feel that a professional baker should be able to add or subtract ingredients to balance the moisture of the cake. read more

As far as cupcakes go this place is as good as it gets!! I have never been disappointed with a flavor! I like to stop once in a while for a cupcake because they are delicious. My favorite are red velvet with creme cheese frosting. Yummm. They are a bit expensive but most places like this charge around the same. The location is very clean and nicely decorated. i enjoy sitting outside and enjoying a fresh baked cupcake. read more

These cupcakes were amazing! I had the lemon drop which was very moist and perfect. I also had the one that had bananas in chocolate and a whipped cream frosting with oreos (i cant remember its name though). The cake part of it was delicious, it tasted like chocolate banana bread. I didn't like the whipped frosting though. I also sampled the andes mint cholocate one and it was really good. Cupcakes were about 2.95 each, which is a good price, ive never seen lower. read more

Just happened to be in Palmdale on business and spotted this cupcake shop with the Foodnetwork logo. Being a lover of cupcakes I stopped in and purchased 4. These cupcakes were delicious, light and cakey, not dense. The frosting was very good as well. I find most cupcakes are over powered by super sweet frostings that I tend not to finish. These cupcakes were very good and I would buy them again even if I can't eat all the frosting. read more

The salted caramel and triple chocolate cupcakes are delicious! The packaging was very nice and the desserts were very nicely displayed.

The cake is good quality but the frosting is not that great. We are fans of Susie Cakes in LA and have no problem spending $4 on a cup cake but the size of their cupcakes are much smaller. I expected a lot more from the person who won cupcake wars. I think it's because they make their best on television but in store for the masses they have to give the easiest thing that can make the most money and that is why I am giving 3 stars instead of less. I am not saying you shouldn't get cupcakes from here but the prices should be closer to $2 a cupcake for the size or make the cupcake bigger. So after everything said and done I will not be returning and I do believe the yelp reviews total stars reflect this business appropriately. read more

I LOVE cupcakes, so when I saw that there was a cupcake place in Palmdale I had to go. At first I tried a vanilla, vanilla one. And it was great! But my husband got a lemon one. We got a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and it was the most amazing cake ever. The top was red velvet and the bottom was chocolate. I have never tasted a better chocolate cake ever. It actually tasted like a chocolate cake. The red velvet is one of my favorites. Both we're very moist and not too sweet. Nada's cakes is one of our favorite treat spot. You must try one. read more

So sad. Something has drastically changed here. I don't live in the area but always stop by when I am visiting. Today I was truly disappointed. The cupcakes were shorter,smaller and dry. The frosting was super sweet. They looked homemade with inconsistencies among the cupcakes. One was well done and the other seemed as if it were not thoroughly cooked. Okay, I have been coming to Nadia's since they opened. I recently moved up north to Redding, ca and the cupcakes there are more expensive, smaller, and made with a disgusting super light frosting. Not one cupcake shop there makes a nice thick frosting like Nadia's. After reading through different reviews, I laughed at people who think the cupcakes are too sweet... it's a cupcake shop, get over yourself. And I laughed extremely loud when someone complained about the vegan options not being displayed nicely. Hahahaha are you kidding me? Anyways, the cupcakes at Nadia's are exceptional. Yes, snobs, I've been to dozens of cupcake shops all over, several LA ones too, and Nadia's cupcakes are very good. Get off your high horses and just accept it. People tend to compare everything to LA for some reason... okay back to cupcakes... I have NEVER had a dry cupcake from here, so I have no idea what the 1% that have are even talking about. Also, the frosting guys... come on! It's outstanding. It's so thick, and there's plenty of it. I love Nadia's so much that I ask my mom to bring me a dozen cupcakes whenever she visits.
