The beef rib kalguksoo was flavourful and the meat was fall off the bone. I really enjoyed the texture of the noodles and would love to come back and try their clam kalguksoo too. I really liked the sautteok - the chewiness of the rice cakes are always my favourite. I think the chicken was fried nicely. It comes with spicy sauce that you can dip on the side and it wasn't too spicy which was nice. I love that it comes with a side of pickled radishes too.

Four stars seems like a good standard. Food was great!! I feel like I got a couple of my favourite ban chan including potatoes. My friend was treating me to this lunch and I thought it seemed reasonably priced. We had galbitang and LA galbi - both were delicious leaving us happily stuffed. Only thing that was kind of bothersome was the flies buzzing around which you hope went nowhere near the kitchen. Other than that, looking forward to trying other dishes like the fried chicken.

Nadri Restaurant Known for their beef rib soup and fried chicken. Located beside Hannam Supermarket (North Road and Lougheed Hwy). Tuck away in the corner of the mall. Big portions .. great for sharing , Food connects us all.

As some have alluded to, Nadri's seating area resembles a foot court. That said, you can rest easy knowing that all the seats are in fact for the restaurant. I recently had a chance to come to this restaurant after looking for something to eat during a shopping trip; I was in the mood for something with broth, so I ordered Nadri's Galbitang which turned out to be a great choice. For about $22, you get a fairly sizeable soup with three massive bones, a selection of side dishes (with refill), and a bowl of rice. The flavour was refreshing and nicely balanced, and the portions, while not massive, were fairly generous. My only nitpick is that the meat was a bit tough, but that was just one bone so I won't be too harsh on that. Service was quite good, and I found the staff were fairly responsive. Of course, North Road has no shortage of Korean restaurants so Nadri's has stiff competition, but I would still recommend coming here if you're in the area for groceries and shopping. If you're looking for solid Korean food, you can't really go wrong here. Other customers seemed to be ordering the fried chicken, so that will be something on my list next time.

This cozy spot is located within a mall, and it looks like a food court setup. But don't worry! The staff will greet you warmly and all the seating available is for Nadri customers. The original fried chicken was delicious! Perfectly light-feeling on the batter, with tender chicken on the inside. It was flavoured well - not too salty. The pickled daikon on the side was refreshing to reset every bite and cut through the fried food. The champong with beef rib was so yummy too! Perfect dish for a rainy December to warm me up with the spice! I asked for it to be less spicy and it was good, but still a bit too much lol. Trying to work on my spice tolerance... The beef was soft, though it took some work to take it off the bone. The seafood assortment was good, and it all came together well! I'd love to come back and try their jajangmyeon and dumplings combo. Yummy!!

Tasty visit to Nadri today. The restaurant is located inside another mall in the Hannam market complex. It is a little hidden but it's on the ground floor. The dishes we tried were all very delish but the service was lackluster. We found it hard to get the staffs attention even though it wasn't busy during our visit and had to go up to the front to ask for utensils a few times.

I keep coming back to Nadri.. it's so good here! This time I got the honey garlic and original chicken, and topokki with an egg! The chicken was divine yet again. They are consistently amazing. The honey garlic sauce was very light, but I loved it that way. The original is still the best original Korean fried chicken I've ever had. The topokki was good too! Rice cakes were perfectly chewy and soft for a soft mouth. It came with what I would describe as flattened fish balls.. those were okay too! The egg is just a regular hard boiled egg. Flavour was what you'd expect! Service was great as always.

Half and half original + Nadri KFC, bossam, and gamjatang

A random Google search led us to this great hidden gem at the bottom of the Korea Town Centre. It has a nonassuming food court atmosphere, but quality is so much more than you'd expect. My favorite dish of our meal was the red gamjatang with dried veggies, which might not necessarily stand out on the menu, but I highly recommend it for those who want to branch out from the usual soondubu or spicy chigaes. Gamjatang is comforting and nostalgic, full of flavor and depth without being hot-spicy. Bossam had a great gelatinous texture. One thing that felt missing was some pickled radish to go with it. KFC was crispy and airy, kind of the texture of popcorn chicken. The Nadri flavored KFC has a Sriracha and vinegar based sauce, which was actually well balanced and not too tart. Some of our chicken pieces did honestly lack a bit of meat, but they were still addictive anyway. Wish I could give this place more like 4.5 stars, only because of a few little tweaks that might be nice. Overall would bring all of my friends here and mention it to anyone visiting Burnaby.

This soup is my go to! Very delicious and flavourful. Portions are huge best to share. Staff is friendly and attentative. I have tried a few things on the Menu and they are all delicious.

https://www.instagram.com/vanleo.eatsfood1015/ Now this a tucked away gem - was it worth the treasure hunt? It sure was! The signature beef rib soup was so tasty ! Meat was soft and fell off the bone with ease - the broth smelled and tasted great , definitely boiled over time - Tofu soup max extensity - this was so bomb for the spice lover within me , was it hot enough ? Not exactly , but it definitely had a kick too it ! - portion was generous - and don't forget to enjoy your rice with it :) We also had the fried chicken , I somehow didn't get a picture of it , but the boneless snow cheese is the way to go ! PS: there is a bakery with treats right beside Nadri - but that's for another review :) - I will definitely be back to explore the menu more !

Amazing pork and kimchi dumpling, the portions are small but the Bossam is super good would come back for the cold beef broth. The waitress was also very accommodating ensuring our needs throughout the course of the meal. I would only comment that this would be on the higher price bracket if you're taking someone on a date. The location was pretty interesting to find as it's hidden in the right hand side lower parking lot of the Korean village.

Had their dried radish gamjatang recently and it was memorable. Soup base was quality with its flavour and consistency, ingredients were complete. It is old school soup rice dish with no cut corner. The banchan were all made with love and seasoned beautifully. You can tell they have seasoned expert cooks navigating the kitchen. Wish Nadri was closer to home.

Came here due to a friend hearing about it online. Said it was a great place for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and boy was he right. It didn't have the greasy aftertaste that fried chicken usually leaves behind. It was lightly coated and crispy with the inside being juicy and tender. We ordered the half and half (Sweet & Spicy, and the Honey Garlic), we also ordered the Nadri's Galbi Tang (3 large beef ribs in beef soup) each and it was so good. I especially liked the sweet wasabi sauce that came with it. It complemented the meat nicely. I'd definitely recommend this place if your looking for delicious, authentic Korean food. The place at first might seem out of place, as it's in a "food court" type setting; but the only seating there is for Nadri or the bakery just right next to them. If you have trouble finding this place like me and my friend had at first. It's at the bottom of the complex, to the very right side.

Overall, their weekday lunch special is good value. Though their food on my first visit wasn't especially memorable, their spacious interior + modern ambience + efficient service + good value and free parking brings them up from 3.5 stars to a 4 stars rating since this is a place I would definitely consider visiting again to try other dishes. There is a bell on the table if you need attention from the servers, and they are usually pretty efficient and fast when it is rung. We saw that there was a $9.99 combo deal and everyone at our table was shocked. We all ordered that. The combo comes with your choice of a noodle dish (Jajangmyeon or Black Bean noodles, Korean udon, or Spicy Cold noodles) and a Beef Bulgogi on the side. I ordered the Jajangmyeon with the Beef Bulgogi and it was great! I enjoyed the nice chew from the noodles and the Black Bean sauce was flavoured well. I was pleased to find chunks of pork in the noodles also. The Beef Bulgogi was a little watery, but tasted sweet and tender. All that food for $9.99. That's unheard of in this economy and in these times! Amazing. We'll definitely return as we saw other great deals on the menu also!

We chose the gganpunggi (sweet chili chicken). Jjajangmyeon was ok. Nothing too special about it. Good portions. The gganpunggi was also a good portion! However, I found that it was mostly batter, and since they use a mix of tapioca starch and other as breading, it gets jello-y when not completely cooked. Same goes for the sweet and sour pork. I love their coating and the flavour is great, but sometimes I just get a coated piece of fat which is a bit off-putting. We also like the japchae, but find it has a bit too much onion for us. Ok cold nights we like to get the 88 noodle soup. Hot, peppery, slightly spicy. Goes well with the pickles they give you.
