    Jajjangmyeon and spicy calamari noodles
    Queenie L.

Very good! Had to come here again to try out some of the soju flavours that I've never had! I got the mango and strawberry flavours. Ps post a google review or tag them in your story for a free drink (blue lemonade). Anyways, the mango tasted alright. It was a fake mango flavour - something like mango candy. The strawberry I felt was a bit better and went down easier. Also the noodles are only 5.99! The spicy calamari noodles were good! The noodle texture was chewy and springy. The dish is served cold which was nice to balance out the spiciness. The Jajjangmyeon was good too. Noodle texture was perfect and I liked that they have large pieces pork mixed into it! The chicken was very good! Not what I was expecting. The glazing was thick but the chicken was still crispy. Only thing was that I ordered the honey garlic flavour but I couldn't really taste any garlic much. Not a big problem thought because it was still tasty!

Jjangmyeon is really good - one of the best with good price. Plenty of seating too. Chicken portion is huge!

me and my boyfriend's favorite Korean restaurant for affordable and delicious food. Jeong (?) and the younger server are always so friendly and accommodating.

If you're looking for cheap eats, this Korean restaurant is the way to go! $7.99 to choose between 3 noodle dishes and if you add $2, you can get a small dish of bulgogi on the side. Plus, $4 somaek to end the night really reminded my partner and I of Korea. I used to come here more often and it used to be really busy and loud. We came here on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. An underrated place if you're looking for cheap eats!

We were fortunate enough to snag a tiny one by the pool tables but it wasn't big enough for food and drinks so we ended up moving before ordering food. We shared a small plate of nachos and a chicken wrap with fries. I don't recommend the guacamole, as it wasn't very fresh and just had a weird texture. The food was very average in my opinion. At least they have a decent beer list. They had karaoke and there was a steady stream of people waiting to take their turn on the microphone. Those folks were much braver than me, that's for sure. I love that they still have pull tab machines, those are always going to take some of my money, if for nothing else but the nostalgia. I ended up winning a few bucks, so that added to the overall positive experience. Service was ok - there seemed to be a bit of confusion over who our server was, but once that was resolved, we had no issues. It was fairly loud but not so much that we couldn't still carry on a conversation. I'd probably go back, because there are not too many places in the area that still have a pool table.

There's free parking outside, just register your license plate when you enter the building. I went with 2 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we got lucky and only had wait a few minutes for a table. It was decently loud inside but it was still easy to have a conversation. The waitress we got was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I'm also super envious of her memory because there's no way I can remember who had which drink without writing it down for so many tables throughout the night!!! My friend also asked for a drink recommendation for the last round and she gave a great one. There's a lot of selection for drinks, as well as food. I really like their shared plates of finger food like tater tots and onion rings. My fish and chips were also very good. The table beside us ordered nachos and it looked huge and very delicious.

Aside from the time warp location, the food is easily 4*s, and honestly, I'd say it's better than White Spot as a comparable. The clubhouse sandwich contained actual turkey breast, not the deli turkey breast slices a lot of places use. That's an easy win right there. Very reasonable pricing to boot! It's basically a sports bar/pub grub menu set up. Pool tables as well. Lighting is on the darker side, with friendly and courteous service. They chat with you since they're curious as to how you know about the place. It's definitely not on too many peoples' radar for sure. They seem to like their hockey, as there are a couple of jerseys hanging. Guy Lafleur, Paul Henderson's autographed jersey from the Summit Series 1972, and a couple of others. Located in the basement of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is literally the Land that Time Forgot. I'm not exaggerating. Come and have a look for yourself. Free validated parking if you eat here. Recommend that you go for a stroll in the upper and lower levels and the courtyard whilst you're here. Maybe come in the evening during Halloween. You won't need to spook yourself out at a graveyard. This mall will suffice you plenty.

We mainly tried the items on the happy hour menu. We had the pork tacos, fully loaded potatoes, and fried chicken. They were all pretty decent. The fried chicken tasted good but only come with 3 pieces so the price for this item seemed a bit steep. The fully loaded potatoes were okay, didn't look that fully loaded but flavor was good. 1 order of the pork tacos came with 3 tacos and flavor was good so this is probably the best out of the 3 food items we got. We also had the sangria crush and the spicy marg. The sangria didn't taste like sangria to me tbh maybe cause it has fireball in it. It wasn't bad. Just not what I was expecting. The spicy marg is pretty good. Also that there was a drunk patron getting aggressive at the establishment this night. The staff handled it really well while keeping the customers safe!

As Son of TIKI DAVE would say, I didn't need to go, but I wanted to go. Yes, yes, Alec, I wanted to go. And the reviews lived up to the hype. What a wonderful spot halfway between the airport and downtown. I left it up to the bartenders to choose my drinks... Against my better judgment, I went with the bartender's recommendation to try the Painkiller because they touted it better than the Soggy Dollar Bar in the BVI. Well, I've been to the BVI but never the Soggy Dollar Bar...yeah, I know. But this drink, that I would normally think too sweet for my taste, was amazing. Now, I have to go to the freakin' Soggy Dollar Bar to compare but I'd bet this one was better. For my second, I again, left it up to the knowledgeable bartender to guide me the way. And he served me up with this perfectly amazing and glowy amazingness that is the Rememberer? Which is off menu. It was amazing. And did I mention it glowed? Ambience and service is amazing. I showed up on a Saturday night at 10 and I was worried after reading about it that I'd have trouble getting in but it wasn't a problem at all. The cocktails are generally on the sweeter side, but they're also surprisingly strong. We ordered the Zombie (3 oz), and there's a reason it's limited to two per guest. It tasted sweet and tropical, but it definitely sneaks up on you and can get you tipsy pretty quickly. The drink prices are quite reasonable, especially compared to the food. While the food is decent, I'd say the cocktails are the real highlight here. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and full of tropical vibes, come for the drinks and the atmosphere rather than the food.
