I had a terrible experience with the professionalism of this business. I decided to not move forward with the service and cancelled 24hrs in advance as per her policy. Her policy says that if you book on a Tuesday, then you have to cancel on Monday before the time of your appt (which I did). But on the day of my appointment she called me and said since she was closed on Monday so the cancellation wasn't valid. On the day of the appointment she tried to pressure me into getting the service and said either I get it or be barred from booking again. I wasn't going to make such a big decision by being bullied. As a result they kept $400 of my $800 payment. I was prepared to lose the $200 deposit but the $400 was excessive, fraudulent, and in poor taste. If you are on the fence and fearful she will pressure you instead of tending to you or even offering less permanent options as alternatives. For example, I asked to do airbrushing instead and she rejected that request. I asked at one point to push my service out and she said that if I did so I would loose my deposit essentially pressuring me to go through with the service sooner than I wanted to. If you change your mind she won't let you book again. That's ludicrous! Finally after reading my first review, she called to harass and badger me rather than doing what a respectable business owner would do -- follow their policies and make it right. read more

This was my first time here. I initially reached out on FB Messenger and asked Nady B if they did Henna tinting. She said yes, it was $30. When I got there, I had a young lady named Alexis. I asked her about henna tinting and she said no, they did a vegan based tinting, not henna and it should last about 2 weeks. She said it was $15 for tinting and $15 for waxing. I paid the $30. So far, they are beautiful. If it lasts 1 1/2-2 weeks, I'll go back. The Beauty Bar was clean and the atmosphere professional and friendly. Definitely worth the drive and price. read more

I'm just going to post the pictures and let them speak for my review. I'm appalled at how THE OWNER NADY responded to me, even got rude and disrespectful, and ultimately said she wasn't going to allow me the "complimentary" necessary touch up, all because I texted a loved one that one brow was completely different from the other without telling her first (mind you I'm going through all of this real time trying to process it all and figure out what's next, and being that it's MY MONEY and my well-being, my face, etc. of course I'm going to let loved ones know what's going on...she was mad that the I sent the text to her on accident because I was texting my loved one at the same time, although I explained to Nady that nothing I said in the text was wrong or mean, it's simply stating a fact that my brows are different, I never called her a name or dogged her in the text, and I was going to let her know the same thing as well about the brows looking completely different). And I MADE SURE I was respectful and polite, because I didn't want her to feel like I was attacking her or her work, I assured her that I think she's a great brow artist, but I didn't like how mine turned out. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I will say that maybe I just caught her on a bad day, maybe she was trying to finish quickly, I have no idea. But how she chose to respond was appalling and unprofessional. Based off of her Instagram page and the awesome work that she's done for others, Never in a million years did I think this would be my experience. If you go to her make sure you are very clear about what you want and don't want. I showed her a picture and thought that was okay, but when I sent her the email letting her know that my brows weren't what I asked for (which was for them to look at least similar to the picture I showed) she said that she uses an eyebrow mapping system regardless of what pictures a client shows. I wish she would have let me know that she wasn't going to do it similar to the picture I showed her, because I would have chose to not continue. Why would anyone pay $600 for something that is the complete opposite of what they asked for/wanted? I don't even have enough space on here to tell the full story, but just know that no one should ever have to receive that kind of treatment, especially when they are paying their hard earned money and still making it a point to be polite despite their frustration, disappointment with the result, etc. There are more good reviews than bad, so if you go to Nady just be clear about how you want yours done. The place looks very nice and the decor is pretty. Update: she said she prefers phone calls over email or text so just had a phone conversation to see if there was anything that could be done to a least fix the right brow, she repeatedly told me that I was a liar and that it's not completely different from the left brow (please look at the pictures for yourself). So unfortunately in a nutshell, because of our negative interaction, I'm stuck with these brows. Tried my best to talk to her in a civilized manner, she ended up hanging up on me because I wasn't going to allow her to call me a liar. It's a classic case of perception/misunderstanding here because the brows look better with me lying down on the video she recorded after doing them, than they do when I am sitting/standing upright....but regardless, it doesn't excuse her unprofessionalism in the way she spoke to me, cursing, etc. Not once did I use foul language and I'm the one stuck with messed up brows and out of $600. I don't even know where to begin but, when I say I had superior service. I have been following Nady B for approximately 2 years and love her work. Honestly I couldn't afford it and sometimes she had specials but something would always come up. I would always see artists that had trained with her at the Nady B academy and they too would have specials but again life just kept happening and I wasn't able to take advantage. So I saw a post where her daughter was running a special and I jumped on it. I had to wait approximately 4 weeks for my appointment but it was WORTH it. The day of my appointment I was so scared because is it going to hurt, are they going to be too big. All kinds of things ran through my mind. I got there and professionalism all the way from the time I hit the door. I had to fill out paperwork regarding my health history. Then I met Jazz, a total sweetheart, she was so polite, professional and patient. She explained everything in detail to me regarding aftercare. She was so gentle I was able to relax and trusted her. This shop is gorgeous. Everything in it is just beautiful including the employees! I got my eyebrows done by Lex. Check her out on Instagram @browsbylex and look at all of her work. She took care of me from start to finish and blessed me with these lovely ombré powder brows. When I say I almost cried because they turned out so lovely. She followed my natural brow and they fit my face perfectly. I can wake up without worrying about doing my brows because they're stunning when I wake up. I would highly recommend this shop.They offer a variety of services from microblading to lash extensions, they even have a tattoo artist. They have amazing artists that are very talented and great at what they do. I'll be coming back to get my lashes done. read more

It was a relief after a long workday to get here. Despite it being busy and a wait to be serviced, the space is very relaxing and clean. Having been a frequenter of Nady when she was with the nail salon in Fairlane Town Center I was expecting nothing less. I was serviced by Keiona and received a wax and tint on my brows. She's excellent and I recommend asking for her if brows or makeup is needed. I will definitely return there and use her services in the future. read more

I had an amazing experience at Nady's. My mom use to go to her when she was at Fairlane and we still go to her now. The shop is very relaxing and in a great neighborhood. There is parking behind the building but is limited, don't worry because there is plenty street parking. The customer service was amazing. Her family is very active with the salon so there is a family presence right when you walk through the doors. There is an array of different beauty services that Nady provides. I had an appointment on December 18 with Nadyb but on December 17 at 7pm she called and canceled on me saying that she came in close contact with someone who had Covid and couldn't do my eyebrows and had to Quarantine and reschedule me. I thought it was weird bc she clearly sound like she was at her salon but safety first so I say it's fine just reschedule me. She then reschedule me on the January 1 but my test results came back positive of COVID at 7am on 1/1/2021 and called her right away and she's going to say I'm not going to get my deposit back and if I want to reschedule I would have to put a another deposit since I missed my appointment that first deposit is going to her bc people are using the COVID as an excuse and my first deposit is bc I cancel on her. Clearly she doesn't care about other peoples Health and want me to show up even when I have COVID. Sorry but I won't be supporting your business and will let it be known. It's not fair that I waited almost 6months and you treat me like this! FYI it's not cool taking peoples money when they are sick as well too! I hate money hungry people like her! So heartless! This place is a total joke. I have gave it two chances but it will not get a third. People who are reading this review. If u get your eyelashes done here, you will be highly dissatisfied majorly dissapointed. And sorry as hell u went back for a second time like I did. Big mistake. My lashes were messy and went every which way and were sideways. I didn't get any complements on them because they looked like shit. They don't care if you are not happy with the service. The owners treat you like shit and tell u don't let the door hit u on the way out. If u want a crappy eyelash job please see lily she is is the shittiest eyelash person to ever walk this earth. I was so ashamed and mortified of this crap job I got. I regret giving that $20 tip. Damn! A bit of a travel for me, but sooooo well worth it!!! The salon is beautiful, clean and everyone was pleasant! I had my eyebrows threaded & they came out perfect, especially considering I had not let them grow out and there was not much to work with! :) I made an appointment with Nady for micro-blading, but after talking with my mom and hearing she wanted hers done ( she has little to no eyebrows ), I decided to give her my appointment so she could have hers before me. if i could give this place negative reviews i would, what place bans a loyal customer cause of a childish receptionist? my best friend came in to his beauty bar to do her lashes for almost a year and everytime she did the receptionist would post things on her snapchat talking about her. and the beauty bar had the audacity to call my friend and blame and ban her when she didnt even talk to the girl. moral of the story the receptionist was mad because my friend was dating her ex that left her 3 years ago... lmfao very childish environment i dont recommend this place unless you wanna be talked about. read more

READ THIS BEFORE VISITING/BOOKING APPOINTMENT! I did not have a good experience here! The owner, Nady, was cursing at her staff and yelling at them in front of her customers. She was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The tension in the salon was so high that I ended up having a panic attack and tried my best to stay calm. The lash tech who was working on me became very stressed out and nervous. The end result were painful lash extensions with the ends being way too long because of how much Nady stressed her staff out. When the tech tried to talk to Nady, the owner was completely disrespectful and began yelling at the tech. I highly do not recommend this place and I am very confused at the positive reviews. My friend and I found Ramsey 313ink on Instagram and stalked his work for a while. We both wanted the same tattoo that had delicate lines and circles. So much of Ramsey's work is intricate and barely bleeds out! So we booked our appointment! Everyone was so nice at the beauty bar and everything was SO clean. Ramsey is super cool, easy to talk to and you can tell he is a perfectionist. I got a rather large tattoo on my rib cage and fell asleep during it. The way he held pressure and the needle was so smooth and consistent. He was amazing. I LOVE my tattoo and I will be returning. read more
