Went here on a Friday to grab some coffee and do some work for a little while. There is an extensive coffee list and I was impressed to see that they had two regular drip coffee options and two decaf drip options. Not everyday you get this many choices for drip coffee! The drip coffee is a little more expensive, but you do get one free refill. I didn't end up getting any food, but the baked goods looked fantastic and the food coming out of the kitchen also looked pretty good. The place was pretty busy when I first got there around 10, but then cleared out to just a few people coming and going. The wifi held out strong for my Zoom meeting and getting some work done. Overall, good coffee, lots of variety of food and drinks, and staff was very friendly. Decent place to stop in Marshfield for work, study, or just meeting up with friends.

Great, little trendy coffee shop with a zillion syrups and options. Plus terrific breakfast and lunch options. We had the sunrise sandwich and pancakes. The pancakes are gigantic, so you only need one. It's busy, so be patient! Good for kids, too!

Stopped in here with a friend for coffee and ended up having breakfast. Very friendly and helpful service. Food and coffees were exceptional. We will come back for sure.

The Daily Grind is still a nice non-chain coffee shop, but it's lost something over the years. It's still a homey-atmosphere, still has the same handwritten chalkboard menu, still has good vibe place of a spot to sit and chat with friends. But it doesn't have the same friendliness or welcoming feel, at least for my non-resident senses. The coffee drinks taste watered down so stick with the brewed coffee. The hot chocolate is still okay, but doesn't have the richness of flavor and isn't worth the price. On the other hand, the food is still good and worth the wait, although depending on the kitchen staff working on the day you order, it can be heavy-handed on the salt. I guess that's one way of making you order more coffee. The service has been the most disappointing thing. If you're a local you probably won't notice, because the locals always move to the head of the line. That's not an exaggeration -- but maybe it's because they're always there, but locals walk in front of you, drop off their money, chat with the employees who spend time chatting in return even while taking another person's order -- be prepared to be relegated to the end of the line. In short, it's the occasional visitors like me that get shorted on service. It's barely civil and staff act more like it's an interruption to their social hour. And cleaning your own table to help out so others can sit down? Don't bother. They won't thank you for doing it. Getting the guest wi-fi password for this spot is another adventure in "who the hell are you?" looks from the staff. Stop in, but lower your expectations. Come for the plain coffee and maybe a sandwich, but don't expect to be blown away by the customer service.

Breakfast, Sunrise Bagel, Hash-browns, sausage Pattie's, vanilla latte, strawberry refresher.

20mins for food to be presented, hash brows burnt (tasted like burnt popcorn), strawberry refresher was straight apple juice with water. I guess if you love sausage Pattie's this is the place to be. Friendly people, just wish the food was worth the price. Nice atmosphere though, it looks cute.

enjoyed a drink one drink was hot the other drink was cold. I joined them after this picture with an iced drink of my own.

A very good place to go iced coffee and fresh hot coffee of the day was a way to go we will be back. The service is really good. People are nice. Try to go twice a month but sometimes finances make it hard to go.

A cozy small, coffee joint that has delicious breakfast. I had a tasty scone and a tomato basil bagel, along with the grinder meal. The atmosphere here is warm and feels like home, unlike the colder commercial feel of chain coffee shops. I like what their doing here

Inside you'll find a gift shop offering Wisconsin-themed items, along with a fridge that has different meats and sausages. There are conference rooms that look like they could be rented or used for small groups. In the middle of all this is the coffee shop. The coffee shop itself is not a large operation. There are some very nice seating options that include high tops, tables, and couches. The windows let in a lot of natural light. There is merchandise that includes shirts, coffee, and accessories. There were a few other people inside, and everyone was having quiet conversations. Got a nice greeting from the baristas. It looked like one of them was in training. Ordered a couple of London Fog Tea Lattes (a little lavender, a little vanilla, extra foam) in a mug. I would normally get a piece of pastry, and prefer a scone, but they didn't offer those, so I skipped that. The senior staffer was doing a nice job helping the trainee with the recipe and process. It seemed to be a helpful and caring relationship between the two. After a few minutes, we got our drinks. We usually just get the drink in a mug, but our drinks were made in a small coffee urn, and we were able to pour them after they finished steeping. That was a nice option. The drinks had nice flavor with the extra foam. However, they were just barely warm. We decided to drink them, but I did mention this to one of the staff afterward. It's a nice place to hang out. Next time I would definitely mention or ask for my latte to be hotter (around 130°F to 145°F).

When we said hot they informed us they were out of hot lids so we switched it to iced (no biggie but why not tell us before?). For our 2nd order we also had to repeat what it was and if we wanted it hot or iced to which we ordered it frozen (wasn't asked either time if we wanted it frozen but other Biggbys always ask). When we got to the window we were told they were out of an ingredient for one drink which we told them it was okay. They then asked what the other 2 flavors for the drink was as they couldn't find it and we told them (no biggie turns out it was taken off the menu within the last month or 2). We paid then was told they were out of an ingredient for the 2nd drink. My husband picked a new drink and got questioned for all of the specifications again. Took awhile to get but I suspect it was just her there (no other customers in drive thru and I think inside was also empty). When we got our drinks they weren't labeled and our frozen was made iced and our iced was made frozen. I think this girl was new and might have needed more training and not put on solo. Also, maybe some new headphones or microphones if the employees are struggling to hear people order at the drive thru even after speaking up, slowing down, and saying 1 thing about the order at a time. Not mad or upset at the girl, I just think the location needs a bit more help.

Initial review of Biggby Marshfield , WI: I have been a…read moreBiggby customer for years. I prefer their coffee over any other coffee shop. I have seen it go through different owners and management. Of course when you are a customer for as long as I have been you are bound to see the good and bad. Recently I saw the ugly. My mom and I have been frequent customers of Biggby especially during Covid and after that as a break from the demands of her having an ill husband and me from having an autistic and severely anxious son. We really enjoyed our time together and our Biggby frozen drinks. Recently we went to the restaurant and did our normal order. We got up to the window and paid and gave a tip as we always do. We asked for a receipt for our savings apps. My mom noticed the receipt said no whip or garnish on one of the drinks. I kept peering in the window to flag a barista down. No one in sight. I am disabled so I took my rubber cane tip and tapped on the window. I didn't want to do that hard so I tapped a little harder on the metal shelf. I got a baristas attention and waved her over. I explained that the order on the receipt was wrong and wanted to let her know so that they didn't have to fix the order. No issues...drive on our way. When we got to our next stop I noticed a message from Biggby. The owner accused me of using a stick like object to bang on her place of business. I couldn't believe what I was reading. As a result of that, I was banned from her business forever. I did nothing wrong and was instantly accused of banging on her business. Couldn't be further from the truth. I went home and cried because of how I was accused and spoken to. She took away something that my mom and I have shared as a special time together especially since my dad died in January. Yes, there are other coffee shops. I just wanted to let people know what kind of person the owner is. She then tried to deface me on Facebook accusing me of not being accepting of the Pride movement. That is absolutely not true as I have close relatives who are gay and transgender. If you are not in agreement with her beliefs and views, apparently you will be blocked. Anyway, the coffee is usually really good. The inside atmosphere is a bit loud with the music, and so many of the baristas over the years have been super! However, a bunch of the good ones quit when the current owner bought the place. Because I was banned for nothing I did wrong, I give this Biggby a big thumbs down. **owners response** To anyone who has read this understand there are 2 sides to every story and this one has a crying 14 year old employee on the other side. Susan was not gentle at tapping a shelf. She banged on a glass window so loud it's on our security cameras. The employees who were working were scared and then berated by Susan. This isn't a one off instance. Susan likes to send in complaints about any younger employees to get free drinks after she has drank almost all of her drink. She has been a customer for many years and in the past has been banned but then allowed back when managers feel bad for her. We have had to warn employees about her behavior and make sure that her special drink is written down with exacting specific details. Way more than anyone else we have ever had. Now we do have many regulars with special drinks and have things they like a certain way and we always strive to make sure their drinks are custom. Unlike Susan, we don't have warn any of our employees about them. We don't have make sure an older employee who dealt with Susan before is the one to interact with her. We as a staff and store are tired of having to walk on egg shells around her and have decided for your sanity and our work environment we will not accept Susan as a customer any more. **my update** Update: Unfortunately when you put a review online the owner of the store can reply and say a bunch of lies about you. I have added some of the pictures I have sent Biggby in the past that are the supposed ones I drank most of and then complained. The point of the picture was to show the huge chunks of ice in the bottom which shouldn't be in a blended coffee. A few others were of thick slush at the bottom that we weren't able to drink. I also included a nice comment a barista made to me. There is a screen shot of my dog that Biggby posted on their Facebook. It was actually a video of my dog going crazy about going to Biggby because they all loved her and gave her pup cups. What the owner said about me was unprofessional and lies. She sent me several messages on my messenger threatening me. I had to call the police because she had me so rattled. I have never had an issue with any employee. When my dad was alive he used to order a "Nancy and a Susan" and got the biggest kick out of them knowing our drinks.
