Please don't go here! Save your money an go somewhere else! This place is awful! I have tried getting a good manicure all over town and found this place and the service was terrible. I didn't get the whole service of a basic manicure and my nails started chipping the next day! The edges were terrible and nails were jagged. Went in to have my acrylic nails removed that were done horribly at another shop. There was no wait and we got started right away. The man who did my nails name was Mike. He got a bowl of acetone and it took about 30 minutes to soak the old nails off. Then he put an acrylic overlay in my natural nails like I asked. He was very gentle, speaks very good English and he even had a conversation with me! I also got a polish change on my toes to match my fingernails. I didn't catch the ladies name that changed the polish on my toes. There were only three employees in the shop when I was there and they were all three very nice and they did a great job for a great price. I will definitely be back. One more thing, I feel that they could get more nail polish colors to choose from. They have a lot but most of the colors are light colors and dark colors. I LOVE bright colors ! read more

I can't give them 0 stars, or I would. I WOULD NEVER EVER GO HERE EVER AGAIN. I got gel on my nails. My nails finally grew out long and thick before I walked in. I walked in 20 minutes before close. She (whom ever was working ) was in a bad mood from me coming in and I should have known then to not get my nails done. ( it's business and you're making money for a living, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE) I live in Honolulu and was visiting family. She Used a NAIL FILE MACHINE to get gel off my nails.. NO, at that point I was so stupid not to cuss her out and walk away. I don't know what was into me. I was hopeful thinking she knew what she was doing. When you get gel, you do not file them down. The whole point of gel is to keep preserve your nails from breaking. There's a solvent you have to soak your nails in to get it off, she used a NAIL FILE MACHINE on them. YOU DO NOT FILE GEL OFF YOUR NAILS!!!! All my nails have broke in plus I did the fade and it looked like shit. I did a black fade, and she didn't tell me she couldn't do that. IF YOU CANT DO SOMETHING TELL THE CUSTOMER, INSTEAD OF THEM GETTING UPSET THAT YOU CANT DO IT ! She took 30 mins on my nails. I will always stick to my lady here at Pearl ridge, Honolulu because she puts her heart and SOUL and 1hr 15 mins to do my nails. But because my sister in law INSISTED on paying to get my nails done I went here. Customers are not numbers, so be loyal to who come in the door and you'll get much better reviews. Do not go to his place! I walked in today with a friend for two pedicures. We picked colors and sat with out feet on the water for 30 minutes. We got frustrated and finally spoke up and told them the water on our feet had went cold. The man told us that it would be 10 minutes with no remorse or that they were sorry about the wait. After finally getting attended to, one lady asked if we still wanted our toes done because we clearly were upset about the wait, we said no thank you and she immediately went to attend to another woman without even saying sorry! They are under staffed and have horrible customer service skills. Don't waste you're time or money here read more

Walked in and asked how long for a fill in and pedicure. They said 30 minutes. I sat there with my feet in lukewarm water for an hour and watched them start working on two ladies who walked in after I had been there about 30 minutes. Ten minutes later I asked are you ready for us? And was told no still preparing. I was so hot in there I began to sweat. It's like they wanted to run the minimum to cut cost. No cool!! Long story short we sat longer and was never called to sit down. They are extremely understaffed! The manager has a horrible attitude! She does not care about her customers at all! She had the nerve to ask my adopted 8 year old if she "staying" with me. My friend and I went for a relaxing splurge. We decided to leave instead. Greeter was hanging out at the back of the store. Instead of walking up to welcome us, she talked to us from back there. Then consulted with the only girl working on nails about which massage chairs worked. ( there was also a guy working. ) She asked did we want to sit together. Well, yes! It seemed the only two working chairs next to each other were occupied. Within a few minutes we were called to be seated but as we walked toward our chairs it was obvious this place was NOT clean. We just decided to go somewhere else. I just think we would have been upset by the time we left. Ugh. read more

Horrible customer service! Horrible work ethic! Horrible job done twice! My nails are snagging on my clothes. I had to ask him to polish the front edge of my nails. A nail salon owner should know this without being told. Shame on the two of them for using their supposed lack of understanding of the English language to rip people off. Lucky for them, my peace-loving husband was with me tonight or I would have given them what for! They deserve to go out of business and they will, if they continue such shoddy business tactics. I'm sure they got a good laugh after we left...stupid Americans...they pay us twice for same crappy service. Well, never again! I gave you a chance to redeem yourselves and you took full advantage! You even tasted and kept my home baked cheesecake that I gave you in return for your time... and still had the audacity to ask for payment! I don't believe your OPI polish is any better quality than the ASP brand I let you use (free of charge) on my nails. And IF your policy is to stand behind your service and promises ONLY when a customer uses YOUR polish, then by God, make that clear from the beginning! And who uses a grinding power tool to remove the old gel polish? That cannot be good for my nails! Never again! They are overpriced. My last visit was the worst and the last. I needed a new set and when she took my nails off, instead of soaking them she tore them off and damaged my natural nail bed. Talk about a painful experience. In addition, when she put a new set on, rather than putting new tips on the nail she used my natural damaged nails. This caused the natural nails to separate and look terrible. I went back to request someone fix them but they wanted to charge me and was rude. Never again. Service is poor and they don't care about the quality of service they a providing. read more
