I visited the salon on 2.5.26, asked for a pedicure and a manicure. I wanted gel and French tips on both. The place was crowded, felt cramped. I didn't like the towels in the window and on the floor. The pedicure technician did an amazing job. The foot soak was warm, she handled my feet with care and was very gentle . She removed the polish and added gel French tips. I had gel on my hands, but it had grown out a bit. The technician looked at my nails and said I didn't need any cuticle work- no manicure. They put foil and remover on my nails, and buffed off the old gel. While waiting to get started, I noticed some cuticle that needed to be removed, the technician David- sighed and looked around like he couldn't do it. Then mentioned- did you want to get a manicure? I said no, can you just remove this hanging piece? I could tell that he was put off by my request- hands on his hips / but he snipped it off for me. He painted , filed and completed my nails. When I got home and had more time, I realized that I didn't like them . They were thick, not smooth- too much polish causing them to bulge at the tips. I returned the next day- explained my concerns and basically was told " it's polish , this is how they should look". After repeating myself a few more times, they agreed to fix the ones that were bad. Their offer to repair wasn't genuine and they didn't offer a refund or a discount. They agreed only after I stated and restated- she literally tried to tell me that they were ok. I told them to just remove them . I was asked to return to David- he said nothing to me the entire time. He removed them and missed a few areas, which I pointed out. He addressed them but he wasn't pleasant- he sighed a let out loud breathing like I was bothering him. My overall experience at this shop wasn't a good one and they need to focus on their customer service skills. If you enlarge the photos, you can see the large build up on the tips. I used to go the nail salon nearby, but I found out they closed down! I thought I'd give this one a chance for a walk-in and hoping they'll take me in with no problem! It didn't take too long, they got me seated right away for a mani and pedi. It probably took about 10min before they're able to start on me, but both Le and Tracy (I think that's her name) took their time on me once they're settled. The vibe is nothing different than other salons I've been to. A mix of chaotic and relaxing LOL. I love that they gave me the price expectation before starting, so it wouldn't be a surprised and they hooked it up with a design. The only reason I didn't rate a solid 5 is because of it is not the most sanitary salon if I am comparing it to many salons I've been to. The quality of the work for the price they charge you is reasonable, however. I'll definitely come back again! read more

Not disappointed I decided to have my treat day and was closest to this nail spa! Place was packed but lucky for me they were mostly headed to the check out. I showed up in time for the weekly employee meeting and was glad to see they are respectful to their employees and take their comments into consideration when making efforts to maintain a good workplace. Such poor customer service! I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone I know. This was my first time trying them, as I live in the area, and my 3rd try to get my nails done this evening. My regular salon was closed; I attempted a 2nd salon, they were booked solid. Finally saw Hiram was opened and I called and asked if they were very busy? The receptionist said, they were opened and taking walk-ins. I should have known when she did not answer my question. I took a chance and drove there since they were also on my way home. I get there and discovered they were full; nail stations and pedi stations. I asked the receptionist how long of a wait for a mani-pedi? She replied, about 20mins. So, I waited about 30min, she calls me and directs me to a nail station. I sat there and was waiting for over 45mins. No one ever came to the station where I was waiting to tell me anything! She does not know me perhaps but it's always a Caucasian woman. Never any acknowledgement or apology for disregarding my appointment. I will not be back to be insulted again. I went there just for fillings and they charged me 2 times more than they charge for new nails. I will not go there in future.

The technician that did my manicure, which had powder dip and needed to be removed. She removed almost all of it but the old color of blue showed through 2 of my new red nails which were also powder dip. I was not happy with that and when I mentioned it, she did not offer any remedy. The technician that did my pedicure was okay but did not get all of my dead dry skin off my feet. I was frustrated about it as both of these services are not inexpensive and we as consumers always want a great outcome. Both women were very nice and personable, but I will not be returning to Hiram Nails. read more

If you're looking for poor customer service and mediocre work, this is the place for you. Most of the staff, including the owners, one of the receptionists, and many of the nail techs, are rude and dismissive. I waited over an hour for service despite having an appointment, and this wasn't the first time. It felt intentional. There was no communication after I called ahead to confirm my appointment. On another occasion, a nail tech was visibly upset with my polite feedback about how I like my nails done. She told me, verbatim, 'I'm done with you. Don't ever sit in my chair again,' while the owner laughed and continued serving other clients. This will be the last time I give them my business. The poor quality of work isn't worth the horrible customer service. If you go, expect nasty attitudes and long waits, even if you have an appointment. I would much rather feel like a valued customer, not just another face in a revolving door. read more

Regardless of what they say, do NOT come here without an appointment - especially on a Sunday when they're short staffed. Came at 12:20pm was encouraged to shop, called after 30+ minutes & was told I had plenty of time to drop my groceries off. Over 3 1/2 hours later, I finally left with 3 repaired nails for $18. Overheard another lady say that she waited 5 hrs yesterday & came back today. My guess is that it's busier than usual, because they're one of the few nail shops open on Sunday in this area. I can in to get a manicure on my regular nails. No polish. As soon as I entered I told receptionist exactly what I needed. The moment I entered I smelled a strong chemical.I realized that most of these Vietnamese/Korean shops only want to do the nails that are "top priced".. o t was several workers sitting around chatting in there language. The girl didn't shape my nails how I asked, I told her and she became very irate and pissed off. " How dare I say I don't like her work".. she puts up her nail box, chatting away with the coworker next to her. Then the "Boss" comes over and defends her. " These individuals" are nasty. I typically have a really great experience here, hence 3 stars. They are busy so make an appointment if you go. The reason for this review is that short-haired (it may have had some purple in it) younger girl that does pedicures committed a HUGE error while doing mine yesterday. It had been quite awhile since my last pedicure, so I got the most expensive one they have, and didn't mind waiting since I didn't have an appointment. All was well until it happened, she was trimming my nails and cuticles and discovered a hangnail on my big toe. Instead of cutting it, as you're suppose to, she pulled it. OUCH! Since then, my toe is now swollen and incredibly painful because of her error. Please PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEEEE let her know you NEVER ever EVER pull a hangnail. I am literally LIVID. usually when I got to Hiram nail spa I have a good experience but I haven't been there in about a year. I went back a few days ago to get a pedicure and I paid $20 extra for the gel. Within 3 days the polish almost FELL CLEAN OFF my toes even though it's supposed to be no-chip polish for at least two weeks for the extra money. I no longer go here even though it's 5 min from home. An appointment is pointless because you will still wait 45 min or longer before your service begins. They rotate walk ins into the appointment schedule and give the walk ins their services with a lot more urgency than the scheduled appointments. It's ridiculous and backwards. Feeling very disappointed with the outcome of my nails done in this place. This was my first time getting a pedicure and manicure and the results were horrendous. The people there are nice but the process felt rushed and not pleasant, I had to ask for them to cut them shorter and overall I felt like they weren't interested in doing the job correctly. I just can't recommend this place, it is a waist of time and money that is not even worth a try. I left feeling very upset with the results and experience. If I had to chose to get my nails done here or by myself. I think I would be much happier with the results of me doing the work. i literally never leave reviews but i'm honestly so upset with my experience here. I had an appointment for 11am... didn't even get sat until 11:40. Judy was my nail tech. After putting the acrylics on me, she kept getting up to attend to other customers. I had already waited 40 minutes after my appointment time, and then for her to keep getting up to do other people's nails was so disrespectful. She rushed through doing my nails and cut the nail without asking me if I liked the length, so they were WAY shorter than I wanted. Once she was done, I looked at my nails and was so disappointed. There was paint all on the sides of my nails, some of the nails weren't coated enough (you could see through the paint), and other nails were super bumpy and not smooth. After speaking with a manager they offered to redo them, but I had already spent almost 2 hours there at this point and had no more time. They didn't offer a discount or anything which is unbelievable. Judy took 2 seconds to "fix" them and seemed really mad that I went to the manager. DO NOT recommend this place!!!!!! read more

I had an appointment for 4pm on a Sunday evening for a gel manicure. I arrived in time and wasn't seen by a mail tech for 45 min. The tech rushed through my paint and my manicure consisted of soaking my nails in acetone and the mandrel to remove my old SNS. she didn't cut my cuticles or massage my hands or anything extra. The polish seemed a bit thin as you can see through it and it has waves in it. After waiting so long to be seen I didn't feel like complaining and having her redo it so I left. By 720 the next morning the gel on my thumb had already peeled back and chipped off. I spoke to the reception and she was very sweet and offered that I come back to have them fixed. I arrived on Friday morning at 950am (they open at 10am) to have them repaired - by this time 2 of my other nails had polish that was also peeled back. I waited another 35 min to be seen for something that took 5 min to fix. this time her fix was to just paint over the nails that are peeled back and do an additional clear top coat on the others. I told her "I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job, but if you paint over them, they're still going to be peeled back because you didn't remove it." she disregarded and kept painting. when we was done she got up and walked away and said "when the light goes off you're done." When the light went off there was polish all over 2 of my fingers and they were still peeled back on my thumb where I specifically told her it wouldn't be fixed. I drove 28 min one way twice to still have my nails look bad. I do not recommend. I won't be coming back Positive note, the receptionist is very nice! read more

I used to exclusively go to Hiram Nail Spa but after my last experience I will NEVER go back. I had my nails done Friday and had to go back today (Monday) to get them fixed. I got a new, full set of acrylics that had already started lifting on all but one of my nails. I was sat at the gentleman who did them originally and he was instantly annoyed with me. The "fix" he performed was subpar leaving all of my nails uneven and when he filed my nails, he filed half the French tip off that I then had to ask to have that repainted. After finishing, he told me he was going to charge me next time he had to fix my nails like it was my fault they all lifted? And he cut me with his drill bit at BOTH visits where bleeding was present which he did nothing about. I had to get one of the owners to fix one of my nails after leaving his table and when I told her about my experience the only solution she offered was to make sure someone else did my nails next time. $62 for a full set of French acrylics and I'm left with one of the worst sets I've ever had. Lots of my friends have came here as well and they haven't done any visible damage to their lashes. all my life I have always had long, thick eyelashes, but I wanted to have some extensions to accentuate my look. Me and my friend come here every two weeks to get a pedicure at 4:30 on Thursdays and ask for specific people, and we are never seated at 4:30 and never get the people we ask for. OVERPRICED, no social distancing, no plexiglass, no gloves. I came to this salon July 5th and they were practicing social distancing and other safety measures. Today August 2nd they were at full capacity in every chair, no plexiglass anymore, and nail techs in pedicure and nail stations didn't use gloves. This salon is SMALL. They have no prices listed anywhere in the salon, they they start to charge you for everything possible. Length, nail shape, tip removal is required for every SNS which they charge you for and don't tell you until your second visit. I made an appointment and was ignored during in the middle of my pedicure, their display color was completely off from what they applied, I was told it would be 10 minutes for tip removal and I was left alone while Mary the nail tech disappeared in the back for 25+ minutes. I came with my mom who was done before they even removed my tips. I've been extremely disappointed on my second visit and will not be back. read more
