During my gel pedicure, the massage felt very repetitive, as she kept massaging the same area of my feet, as if rubbing it raw. She also repeatedly looked at the timer and her watch and was yawning throughout the service, which made me feel like she was tired and ready to finish. At one point, another client was talking loudly on her phone. Megan seemed annoyed by it and tried to engage me in the annoyance, but I chose to just brush it off and enjoy my service. My manicure with clear polish also felt rushed. Unfortunately, the gel polish on my right pinky toe has already come off, and I don't have the time to go back to have it fixed. Despite the experience, I still left a good tip because I appreciate the effort and wanted to be fair. I do like Luxe Nail Salon and would consider returning, but I hope the quality and attention to detail are more consistent. Perhaps Megan just needed a little more sleep or maybe she does a better job when she has more time to chat/gossip and connect with her clients.

When I asked for assistance, the manager, Lin, became involved but handled the situation aggressively--standing over me, interrupting me, and creating an uncomfortable, hostile environment. Prices continue to increase, but the quality and professionalism simply aren't there. Don't be misled by the name Luxe--there was nothing luxurious about my experience. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Heather was efficient and effortlessly a perfectionist. She has been one of my favorite pedicurista so far, although my nails weren't as opaque on the entire nail as I was hoping they would be, the massage and attentiveness to detail on my nail care made up for it. I had chosen a milky off white for my toes and a couple areas had more polish than others, although hard to tell from far away. I would absolutely love to come back and give it another try!

Lynn was very reassuring and did a great job reinforcing the nail with dip and I assume some strengthening polish, plus gave me advice on when she thinks it will grow out long enough to cut it and get rid of the split. I wasn't in any pain and my nails look great! I was so nervous because I know some nail techs can be rough, but I left so relieved. The massage chair felt great, they were clean and safe wearing gloves and using a disposable cover for the foot bath. After showing a picture of what I was looking for they brought me shades of the color I wanted and were able to do a matte effect. After she removed the nails I asked her to just do acrylic French tip and I would pay the difference. When she was ready to polish my nails she tells me to pick a solid color because I am too picky and that I need to pay $60. Excuse me! Why is she insulting me and why is she charging me for brand new services. If I had known she wasn't going to honor her word I would have never returned. I have never walked out without paying but that was the day. She then calls me and tells me I need to pay $40. I end up paying her for the sake of ending the back and forth but let it be known that NOT only did she insult me, she ripped me off and lied to me, as well as harassed me. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the bottom of my nails. But I will upload one for reference. And I WILL block everyone's number because clearly Lyly didn't care about her customer's privacy when she sent me the screenshot. NEVER going here! Lyly is horrible. As a customer service business you need to give the customer what they are asking for and act professional.

All the tools and equipment were sterilized, and I felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. I recently tried a Gel X nail set for the first time while I was back home visiting family and the experience was so amazing! Julia was so friendly and made me feel at ease right away. As someone who usually skips extensions and designs, I appreciated her thorough explanations and gentle approach. She carefully prepped my nails, applied the Gel X tips flawlessly, and created an amazing orange-toned design with citrus fruit elements. Barbie nails by Gina were sick. There was like the Barbie flower from the logo from 2004 (her idea) and her pearl charms accentuated the pink hues of the nails. The set lasted 5 weeks and showed no signs of lifting, peeling, or chipping. The charms also stayed on for the full duration. Would bring my wife again. read more

She works solo so there is peace and quiet in her salon. There will never be other customers. She plays really cool music too. It's been really easy to have nice conversation with her.
