Luxury Salon at its finest! I am not from the area and was searching for nail salons in the city of Anaheim. I choose Genmies Nails through all the Yelp recommendations and I am so glad I did. Excellent service, hospitality and accommodations. This is the first salon I have ever been to where they allowed me to watch anything I wanted on their TV! And after a 2 hour drive, I wasn't about to decline that offer. Overall, I loved my pedicure, the cut, the color and the deep tissue massage. Trust me when I say this, you will always remember your experience here! Next time I am in the area and in need of a euphoric spa-like service, I will definitely make it a point to return.

This review is long overdue! I came into Gemies Nails exactly a month ago, and the retention has been amazing. As someone who works in the service industry, scheduling appointments--and actually making it to them--is always a gamble, especially with nail salons where you never know how long services might take. Last month, my roommates and I decided to get our nails done last minute. I called, and they were able to accommodate all three of us and our requested services within the same hour. When we arrived, the ladies working were super welcoming and sweet. They even let us choose a movie to watch during our services, which was such a nice touch. Jade was my nail tech, and what really stood out was how she took the time to explain everything she was doing during my acrylic overlay fill. Since I wear acrylic overlay on my natural nails, my nails tend to grow downward as they get longer. Jade explained how she placed the nail apex to support the longer growth while still keeping my nails aesthetically pleasing. I really appreciated her taking the time to explain this--otherwise, I would've had no idea. The services were completed in a timely manner, and the quality and pricing were both great. I got a fill with designs, and my two roommates each got full acrylic sets. We all finished at the same time, which was an impressive bonus. Overall, I loved my experience and would definitely come back again. Thank you, Jade!

I cannot say enough good things about this nail salon. The staff communicates if they are running behind and takes the time to really do a good job on your nails. There isn't anything they can't do. My pedicure was so relaxing and the massage was amazing. My nails came out so cute and so did my daughters. It is very quant nails salon which makes it very relaxing. I loved my experience there! They were all so kind and welcoming. They let me choose a show to watch, lol. I had an image of the nails I wanted and dm'd them on Instagram. They were quick to respond and took me in the same day. My nails came out so pretty. I feel the prices are very reasonable. They were very gentle, especially after I told them that it had been many years since I got a full set. My nail tech did it better than the picture I sent her, they both did a great job! I also got a pedicure with gel. The place is cozy. I wish they had a better chair for the pedicure because I was kinda fighting for my life to sit up, but other than that, the entire experience was lovely and I will continue to come here. I forgot to mention, they did a cute photoshoot after with my nails loll it was so fun read more

Luxury Salon at its finest! I am not from the area and was searching for nail salons in the city of Anaheim. I choose Genmies Nails through all the Yelp recommendations and I am so glad I did. Excellent service, hospitality and accommodations. This is the first salon I have ever been to where they allowed me to watch anything I wanted on their TV! So happy I found this salon for my pedicures! The location is super convenient with plenty of parking, and the salon itself is cute. They shape my nails perfectly, the colors they have are vibrant and accurate, and they last a long time. I've never been cut here, which has been an issue for me at other salons. I am late to review but I really wanted to say these girls were amazing! I called them for an appointment while I was in California visiting and they took us in last minute and the experience was amazing and so relaxing. They were sweet and let us choose a movie. I loved the vibe, when I visit my mom again, I will definitely be stopping by! They gave me everything I asked for and I loved how she cleaned up my nails after. First time coming here and the service was amazing! First of all, they were the first to message me when I inquired on yelp and I was able to set my appointment with them. I arrived about 20 minutes early and they accommodated and saw me right away. Jade did my nails and she took her time with them! She really paid attention to details. Ava did my pedicure and the hot stone massage felt so good! Also, the chair was very comfortable so that's always a plus :) Overall I had a great experience and am very satisfied. So glad I found this place! The ladies here are so welcoming and nice. The place is cute and clean and had lovely presentation boards to show the myriad of colors and options they offer. I was glad to see the sterilizer at work, which made me feel comfortable about the tools they use. Mia, my technician, explained every step as she went and told me what to expect, which was great service. That they offered me water and the remote to select what I wanted to watch was a lovely bonus. I got gel-x with extensions, and it took about 40 minutes and cost $55 (plus tip). i had a friend that follows this place on insta and they kept showing up as recommended on my feed as well. my previous salon has not been giving me consistent good results for what i'd pay. this place has been very good ever since i booked the appointment. good communication over price ranges and design. reminders before my appointment. and when i walked in i just knew i was in good hands. Mia did such a good job with my nails. she was very friendly and kept making sure i was ok with the design throughout the whole process. will most definitely be coming here from now on. the price is fair for the quality and availability that's given. read more

Getting to the salon wasn't too difficult, some street parking wasn't too difficult. The salon had a cute and modern vibe to it! I was instantly seated by Tammy and she got to work. They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

Then a corner was taken off one of my toenails, half of them are uneven, parts of the nails don't have enough glitter flakes, and my large toenail didn't get filed or taken off properly and looks like I have stuff under it. I paid for a deluxe but there was absolutely nothing done that was in addition to a regular pedicure....no paraffin wax, callous removal, etc. When we were finishing up, I asked Lisa if I could use the restroom. She said yes but when I asked the Bosslady where it was she said they didn't have a working bathroom. Interesting. I will not be returning.

I was taken to my seat right away, given a complimentary little bottle of water and baggie of chips. The massage chair felt great, they were clean and safe wearing gloves and using a disposable cover for the foot bath. After showing a picture of what I was looking for they brought me shades of the color I wanted and were able to do a matte effect. The spa is always clean and majority of the cast members are professional be courteous. This is my happy place and I look forward to my monthly treatments! I switch between the mindful traveler, pedicure and massages. I get my facial with my med spa membership. I see Martha every 3 weeks for my nail and feet treatment. She is sweet, professional, gentle and detail oriented. My 16 year old pup crossed over Rainbow Bridge. Martha coordinated with her team members Danielle and DJ and we're so thoughtful and gave my family and I macaroon & citrus bath steamers with a hand written card. I buy Disney gift cards at target with my target card for 5% off and the grand California hotel valet parking (normally $75) is complimentary with $125 or $175 service (no tram or walking). Your reservation confirmation will tell you the exact amount. Please tip the valet cast members, they hustle and provide great service. Whenever I had concerns or feedback, cast members listened, weren't defensive and was receptive and understanding. They take care of you and want you to enjoy your experience!

They are thoughtful and full of sweet touches, from the Disney piano music offered during my signature massage to their phone call a few days after the service when I was trying to buy their sold out arnika lotion in the gift shop. They had found it online and wanted to let me know where to buy it. The locker room is luxurious with lots of amenities, including 2 showers (they have on-wall shampoo/conditioner/body wash), 3 bathroom stalls, 1 steam room, oodles of lockers which have your robe and rubber slipper shoes and space to put all your stuff during your treatment, and all of the self-care goodies near the 2 sinks (mouthwash, body lotion, makeup remover, hair spray and gel, clean combs and brushes, an aromatherapy machine) as well as flavored water. They use nice towels to dry your hands, and they have body towels if you take a shower. The lounge space is co-ed, with loungers, chairs, 2 flavored waters, 2 types of small bite-size pastries (blueberry bread and cranberry orange scones), and they offered me hot tea. The wall nearby appears to be stained-glass. Wowsers, what an experience. It's absolutely worth it. Spend the money on yourself, indulge, and you will never regret it. I'll be back for more treatments!!

Service is ALWAYS top notch. The kind ladies here always take their time and are so talented. If you have any questions or recommendations they always accommodate to your requests and needs! The whole salon is so clean and I love the overall feel and vibe of the place. Seats are super comfortable as well hehe.
