Pedicure- My husband and I came here together early on the weekend. I had made appointments ahead of time and we were seated right away. I loved the range of colors they offer. We both really enjoyed our pedicures and I thought they did a great job. The woman who did my nails was so nice. The chairs were comfy and it was such a nice way to relax at the start of the weekend. I would totally get a pedicure here again! Manicure- We came back here together and this time I got a manicure while my husband got another pedicure. The woman who did my manicure I think was just having a bad day or might have ben distracted. She was really rough when it came to pushing back my cuticles and even nicked me a few times. My fingers were bleeding during the manicure just a bit. It quickly stopped but wasn't off to a great start. She did a great job at massaging my hands and I love the shape she filed my nails into. When it came time for top coat she accidentally spilled the whole bottle and it got my my hands. Again, I think she might have just been having an off day. Overall, I was happy with the color and they looked nice but wasn't the best manicure I've had. I know nails salons work so hard which is why even though my manicure wasn't the best, I still wanted to give them 4 stars because I'd come back for a pedicure.

I've pretty much decided I am going to just do my own pedicures because I can do a better job. The skin around my nails were not clipped and trimmed up. Like at all. I Can paint my own nails at home. It's a typical salon inside, and I was greeted by a receptionist. The nail tech was nice. And it's very conveniently located near my house.

About a week ago I came in to BKS nails, They were super nice when I walked in. I originally asked…read morefor an Acrylic full set and to get what was on my nails soaked off. They recommended dip, or should I say told me that I was going to do dip...Anyways. They soaked off what was on my nails and I showed them the inspo picture of what I wanted. I wasn't given a yes or no answer if they could do them, I will say they were more on the complex side. Well beings nobody told me they couldn't do them I assumed they could. Then another lady comes over to to start on my nails, I asked for nails that had french tip with design, which is why I was confused as to why my base was the same color that I picked for the french tip. Well I let her continue because I was thinking maybe I am wrong. She continues, her coworker proceeds to tell her that it isn't going to work and then she says that it is. Then, JUST NOW. She finishes the dip and NOW i am being told they cannot do the design that I wanted, they didn't have the color or the correct type of tool/paint to do what i wanted. Why wasn't I told this in the first place? I am now just irritated and had been at the salon for a little over 2 hours just severely irritated. I work in the service industry so being rude to workers is NOT in my nature but this was completely wrong and then still proceeded to charge me $72 for the base color on my nails when not once but twice was I told they couldn't do what I wanted because of THEIR WORK. The tools I understand but because she put on the wrong base then I couldn't do anything. Not a place for anything complex and clarify with them before letting them do anything.

Dat gave me a pedicure and my favorite part is always the massage. Usually when I get a pedicure, the technician slacks, but he took his time and topped it off with gentle but strong hands. Bonnie gave my significant other a bomb pedicure and made his feet look like I would want to touch them again. ;) thank you for such great services and for creating my now home salon.
