I would not go back there. I tried to make an apt for a gel manicure. I had to text 3 different girls. I had to get their phone numbers off their FB page. One girl said she could do us all (3). She took an hour on the first girl. She didn't have time for the other 2. The other people working there are not friendly. No one was talking. The music was a little speaker. The decor is weird and cheap looking. They don't do simple manicures, and I witnessed two people walk in and treated rudely. Aside from having to watch the girl at the front station have a stink face on the entire time, even with her own clients. I didn't even have a chance to sit in the chair. This is the equivalent of a cheap tattoo shop. It ruined my day. No starts for you. read more

This is seriously the best nail salon in town, if not anywhere!! Not only is the quality of their products top notch, the salon is clean and everyone speaks English! I've had my nails done off and on for over 13 years...I've left salons with crooked nails, paid more than I thought it would be because I agreed to extras as I didn't understand what they were asking, or my nails would lift and look terrible within a week....NONE if this has happened with Nail Candy! Their is an endless amount of color options and if you want something special, just ask! They are always open to trying new things! All of their staff continues to learn with special trainings and keeps up with the ever changing techniques and styles! You without a doubt get what you pay for! My nails maybe short, but they are now FIERCE! - (I have to wear them shorter for work) I just LOVED what Jill did for me. She is SO EXPERIENCED (14 yrs. in) and practically read my mind with the design I wanted. There are SOOO MANY different designs, as well as every color and sparkle you could ever imagine! I came to this place for christmas nails and seen a lady named shannon. She kept grabbing my hands a bit ruff and besides the beautiful paint job the body work on my nails was horrible the gel she used was lumpy and the body work on each nail was horrible. When i tried to talk to her about the situation she was very short and rude and referred me to her instagram. You would think when u pay someone that much money they would be more humble. Later i was told that jill was the manager to speak to her and she basically told me everyone was an individual artist and any issues should be solved with the artist. Mabey the other artist there are very talented and nice but i will never find out. That lady shannon ruined it for me. I am also in the industry myself and would never treat my clients as foul as that lady i will never go back to nail candy again because of her. read more

The girl that did my nails didn't talk very much, so it was a little uncomfortable. she does an amazing job though and is very much a perfectionist. I am amazed with how beautiful my nails turned out. this place isn't like a regular nail shop all the girls rent their own tables and each girl has their own phone number. they do try to communicate with teach other to help you get an appointment. It maybe a little frustrating at first, but it's definitely worth going there.The place may also be a little pricey. but if you want nails that are on Point and up-to-date on the current nail fashions like what you see on Pinterest. this is the place you want to go to you. read more

I have been going to this salon since it was Visions, back almost 10 years ago. I have remained a regular customer the entire time for multiple reasons: the excellent quality of work, the friendly staff, the selection of products and the reasonable pricing. I have had Jill, Stephanie, Ashley and Isela all do work on my nails and have never been disappointed. This place is the bomb! My nails are always beautiful. People said the gal in front always has a scowl. Have you gotten to know her personally, probably not. If you did you know she is super nice and shy until you get to know her! If you want your nails done make an appointment they are booked up because they do awesome work. Where do I start? To begin with there is no scheduler. You have to call, or worse, text each tech. Poor service, bad attitude, lousy job, no sense of professional pride. I was told the price was $25-35 on the phone then charged full price onof $35 but only did half the job. When we arrived and told the tech my friend wanted ninja turtles she said we didn't ask for enough time for the appointment. So when I suggested we should reschedule, tech said no, it would be fine. Then she only did half the nail. Each turtle has only eyes and she didnt even file and shape the nails. Our tech had a sour, angry demeanor from the moment we walked in. No one was friendly, looked like the place was under construction, shabby without the chic. No stars, and no reason to return. read more

I went a few times, and I will say their artwork is nice, but the techs are not very friendly. In addition, I was going to a wedding, and she had scheduled me to do my nails and rock star toes for the wedding, but at my previous appointment I told her to cancel the toes because I was going elsewhere for just a regular pedicure. When I went to have my nails done, she argued with me over and over about the rock star toes, and I kept telling her, "I told you to cancel that the last time I was here." She kept insisting I was wrong. I know absolutely that I told her to cancel the rock star toes, and to just keep arguing with a customer is really bad business. read more

First of all the pictures below should speak enough for the type of work this shop thinks is acceptable. Nail candy prides themselves on teaching classes on proper nail form and foundation of basic acrylic nails but when I had mine done there I always had a problem with the nails being crooked on my actual nail, lumpy, v-shaped tips that I didn't ask for because the acrylic dried on the form and she left it that way on top of that the product was so far away from my cuticle it looked like that set that I had done the same day was a week old at LEAST. The nails we're misshapen and so so so thick That I couldn't even fit them in normal finger nail clippers. Spent 3 hours soaking them off in acetone and filing them. I texted to get my money back and just call it good after showing the nail tech and the owner how terrible they were they only wanted to refund 37 dollars of my money because they still performed a service . I was under the impression that if your charging 65-70 dollars on a set of nails you best believe I expect straight nails with no lumps that's not asking a whole lot. You can also count on a unprofessional attitude from owner and nail techs . read more

After going to Jill for years, i sadly had to leave due to poor customer service. The shop had just gotten to the point where they think they are the only ones in town that can do fine nails. She treated me so rudely; she would cancel me whenever it suited her even though it would totally mess up my schedule,yet i was never allow to cancel my appointment . she does great work, but the women there are so rude! A woman i know over heard them talking in a restaurant about how they were the best in town and everyone knows it. Nope, i found someone else who is just as good so wake up ladies!! read more

The nails are NOT worth the money, and are all different shapes and look cheap. I was very disappointed... This is not what I wanted

I went in for a gel manicure on my natural nails. The girl didn't even push my cuticles down. Just put gel right over the top of them. The shaping was sloppy and she left a big uneven rough edge on my thumb nail. Had to clip it off as soon as I got home. The salon was dark and uninviting. Just a few mismatched tables in the middle of the room for stations. I won't go back. Waste of 30 bucks!! read more
