This nail salon has been in the Elyria community for 15 years. Sometimes there's a 2 hour wait but I can see why with the kind of work they do. The manicures are okay, leave you feeling clean like usual but admittedly nothing too special. Full sets are beautiful, they offer all sorts of shapes and things for deco. 600 different gel colors including temperature sensitive color changing and chrome. However, if you're looking for a good pedicure this is the place to go! 3 different kinds of pedicures starting at $30 and they have matching gel polish and toe polish sets so you don't have to find the closest match. read more

Typical nail salon in a mall; large space, well staffed. Not a ton of colors, but lots of pedicure selections, starting at $30. Friendliest staff and relaxing atmosphere. The best mail technicians are the owner Emily and her daughter Vivan. read more

Not worth it. He charged me $30 for a terrible job. The paint was a mess, the nail art he did without my permission (and then charged me for) looked messy, and he ended up damaging every single one of my nail beds. My nails had tender spots for months after. Don't go here. They just want your money. They don't care about you. After I went back to ask them to fix the nails, he just sloppily painted over them without taking the previous polish off. They looked embarrassing. read more

This place is the worst!! I got a deluxe pedicure, along with a gel refill. I paid $90 and probably received the worst job I have ever. My nails all crooked and the pedicure was horrible. The paint on my toes looks like I painted my toes with white out, literally and it was extremely painful. The guy filed my toe nails down way to low. I kept telling him how painful it was and he didn't really change what he was doing. The next day the polish started to chip off of my toes and under three of my toe nails there's now blood :( I went back to tell them about what happened a couple days later and they were so unsympathetic and told me "sorry no refund". There are so many other nail salons in this area, please do not give these people your service. I don't normally complain about my nails even when they don't look great because I get them done every two weeks but this was ridiculous. read more

Got a pedicure with my mom here yesterday. Was very pleased! Not only did I walk out with fabulous looking soft feet but I was super relaxed. Love the massage chairs. I wish I knew the name of the women who did our pedicures...they were both super nice and did great work. Anytime we need pedicures and for as long as Nail City remains in Midway Mall...this is where we will go. What a great day! read more

The staff here are very nice and all, but this is probably one of the worst manicures I've ever had. I even came back a second time thinking it was just a fluke and that I picked a bad polish, but I now think it's actually an all the time problem here. I only ever use OPI, and it is pretty clear to me that they must be doing something to doctor the polish at this salon--like putting some additive into the bottles. The polish bubbles all over. Both my friend and I had the same problem and we used different polishes. Only chance I'd ever go back here is if I were to bring my own bottle of polish with me to ensure it wasn't fake. It's nice that they're open later than the other nail salons around town since they're in the mall, but it's not worth it in the end--I'm going to have to remove this polish and redo it myself. The prices for a mani/pedi here are prety fair. I did not have to wait at all when I came in, at around 12:30pm on a sat which was a plus. While I did get a great outcome, the only thing that I didn't like was during my pedi I was reading a magazine (cause it was that or watch elf on tv) and the technician kept wanting to talk to me about the movie-I could barely even hear her talking and I just wanted to enjoy the pedicure and massage chair while reading my new cosmo, oh well. I may go there again if I don't find a better place to try. read more

When I first started coming here they actually did a pretty good job. Then I ended up getting some nail art done and it was terrible. I had asked for bows and the nail tech just painted two triangles with lines coming out of them. After I brought it to the attention of a different nail tech I was told to come back the next day at 2 PM and he would fix it for me, no charge. I came back the next day at 2 and the line was out of the door and he never ended up fixing my nails. Ever since I had this experience they've started to go down hill. All of their good nail techs have left. You're left with two who don't listen to you and one who has no clue what's she's doing. Not to mention it's far from the cleanest salon I've been in. Last time they rang me up incorrectly and made a huge fuss about it like it was my fault. Don't waste your money here. read more

Terrible eyebrow threading. The technician threaded my eyebrows 2 days ago, and although she appeared to be experienced, she actually left multiple cuts which were only visible the following day. Both eyebrows are now red and painful. I've been treating with Neosporin and hoping they don't scar. read more

I here only because I'm new to the area and have not been able to find anyone that does a good pink and white gel powder. The girl who did my nails jelly is actually good . Unfortunately the manager is rude and inconsiderate but the place is run down and looks dirty . I overlooked that because my nails came out good . I went today and was told there was a wait for Kelly and to write my name and number on the sign in sheet and come back in and hour and a half at 7:30. They close at eight . I went and had something to eat to stay near by even though I have many others things I need to do. As it got closer to 7:30 I called to tell them I'm on my way back . A man answered who said he's the manager and told me not to come back there were 2 people ahead of me and I couldn't be done today . He was rude . I explained to him that I was told to sign and come back and to leave my number . I asked him to look at the sign in sheet . He refused . He wouldn't even listen to wait I was saying . I would have sat there and waited but they told me to leave and come back . He was so rude I told him I wont be back at all, Unfortunate for the nail tech he made her lose a customer . read more
