I just left Nail E! in Tupelo absolutely disgusted and astounded as to how they are even in business. I went there to get my nails and toes done as a treat to myself over Spring Break. I am a teacher so it was much needed. I wanted a polish change on my toes and a basic acrylic manicure on my nails. The young girl in there started on my polish change and she was super nice about everything. She changed my polish and then sat me down with a man who started on my nails. Everything was going fine but I noticed he hardly filed down the acrylic on my actual nail after he painted them on. I didn't mention anything because, being myself, I feel very awkward critiquing someone's work (I regret this now) - He then brings me to another seat after he shapes them and I'm brought back to the other girl again. (I am guessing he could not do the tips like I wanted) - she starts working on them, and again, she's super sweet about it all. Thinking back to it now I never saw either of their licenses on the walls though. When she finishes I just look at them in disbelief because they look terrible. I walk with her to the counter and my total comes out to around $87, I leave a small tip because that's just how I am but I got back to my car and I just could not stop myself from going back in to ask for them to fix them. You could see a hair underneath the acrylic on one of my nails, the painted tips were so uneven, nearly half of a few of my nails were exposed without acrylic painted on. I just wanted to cry. I get back in there explaining everything and I show the girl where you can see the hair underneath and how thick they were and she seems understanding so I just say can you please paint over the top of them just white or something, I don't want to hate them for the next couple of weeks. (me being me, I said I'll pay a few extra dollars or whatever I need to do) - she finishes painting over them (which btw at this point they STILL look terrible) but I thanked her anyway. The owner then walks over and says that will be $15. Y'all I was so shocked! I know I said something and that's my fault but I could not believe they were going to charge me 15 more dollars on top of what I'd already paid considering how **TERRIBLE** they looked before and still did! I brought back up the pictures to show how terrible they were and it's just like she didn't care. I told her I couldn't believe she really thought I owed them more money! She said well if you don't pay that will be on your conscience not mine. I said a few things I probably shouldn't have but I posted below what I wanted, what I got, and what I ended up with. It has been years since I've stepped foot in a nail salon, I will start of by saying that. I had been gifted a gift certificate, and got a manicure and pedicure, though I still had to come out of pocket some, which wasn't that bad to have to do. I got an acrylic set last Friday, and began noticing 2-3 days later the acrylic had started lifting from my nail beds. Well yesterday, I then had two nails pop off, then last night had another pop off (all on the same hand). I went by to see if they could fix them, without me having to come even more out of pocket, but I was told I would have to pay. I wouldn't have minded paying had this started two weeks or so after having this set done because obviously after a few weeks you need a fill in anyways, but this was not the case. Went to Nail E Sunday to get a acrylic set and a pedicure. I loved the pedicure everything was perf there. But when I went to go get my nails done the nail guy was constantly telling me that my nails are ugly and when I told him I have a medical condition that makes me pick at my nails he told me I was lying. Not even 24 hours later my nails fell off and he said he wouldn't fix them because they were a waste of his business and they were ugly. Will not be going back read more

Nail tech was pleasant enough and did a good job. However, the manager/owner needs to work on her people skills, as she comes off as rude. Don't expect any frills at this place. At least it's open on Sundays, unlike other nail salons in Tupelo, which is how I ended up going to NailE despite it's somewhat deserved bad reviews. read more

Would not recommend went in said the wait was 30 mins witch was fine it ended up being a hour before they got to us witch is still fine but what's not fine is everyone was so rude especially the owner or I'm geuss she is the owner it was who everyone was answering to! I was asked to take my own nail polish off then walking out of there my friends nails was lumpy mine looked okay but two days later my nails started cracking a week later my nails are falling to pieces! I have been here several times but yesterday was my last. I try to give a business more than 1 chance. My first visit there was just ok but down hill from there. The customer service is not good, the staff not very friendly. My last visit I was seated quickly. However, the technician that started my pedicure did not complete the service. He seems to have good pedicure skills, but does not seem to be very happy to be at his job. I don't like how they have conversations with the other techs (in another language), but that is most places). My technician was in the middle of polishing and told me that someone else would finish?? What is that about? He literally left and about 5 minutes later another technician came and finished up the polish. However I did not get a top coat. The polish being used was thick and did not go on smooth. When finished they just had me sit in the pedicure chair to wait on the polish to dry. In other salons there are dryers you can slide your feet into. I sat there maybe 10 minutes and was told that I could go. Within 2 hours one of my toes, my big toe was a mess. I went back to the salon and asked if they could repair this and I was just told to have a seat and might I add in a rude tone. No apology, just sit and wait. The salon was very busy but there was one technician walking around, but never came to look at my messed up pedicure. I finally left and will not be back.
