I found Nail Garden & Spa very clean & quiet on my first visit and was very happy with Mary's attention to my request. My nails looked great and since I came in early on a Sunday I was out within an hour. The next time I visited, I'd waited too long and one nail was lifting. Since I was a walk-in I was assigned a young man, who even though I showed him the lift first, used the drill and hurt the nail badly with the lift. He did apologize but seemed less experienced. A few weeks later I called and made an appointment asking for Mary again and was told 1pm. When I arrived 5 min early I let the front desk know I'd made a 1pm appointment with Mary. I was asked to sit. After waiting for a half hour I asked how much longer and was then told that there was no appointment on the book for me. Mary stood in front of me, asked me what time I called and asked two other technicians if they'd made an appointment and was told no. She then told me I had not made an appointment. I asked if there was another technician available and was told no, but could I come back at 3pm. I felt like I was being called a liar, was uncomfortable and left. This nail salon is off Macdade near sonic. If it wasn't for Yelp I would have never known it was here. Thank you Yelp. Another winner in the books. Open until 730 on Fridays. Staff was super friendly. Plenty of staff that I didn't have to wait for a pedicure. Cons - no credit card (can't blame them as fees are crazy). but they take cash, Venmo and Apple Pay. It used to be a great place with the old owner but within 2023 the new owners ran it to the ground. The nail clippers came out of a wrinkly old sandwich bag, I doubt it was sanitized. I got the worse pedicure ever. read more

Ok let me start with some facts. They don't take credit card. Either cash, zelle or cash app. They charge you extra to use more then 2 colors. Which gets pretty unnecessarily expensive especially when it's just color not a design or any extra effort. Their pedicures are very good. Callus remover is not an extra and most of the time, they do a very good job. I mostly go there for a pedicure. If I do my nails it's just the basic style and 60%/40% chance it is the worker's best effort. read more

I am not the type to ever leave a bad review but If I could leave zero stars for this place, I would. We just moved to town so I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I went in for a full set + pedicure. I paid $90 and walked out. Three days later, THREE, every single one of my nails started to lift at the bottom except for my thumbs. I work from home so I'm barely ever doing much but typing. I go back in and they give me a new set while telling me that me typing is the reason the nails are lifting after 3 days...here I am again, 5 days later with 4 nails lifted. DO NOT GO HERE. They also do not sanitize the nail equipment they use. Save yourself the time and money. read more

I came in for the first time today and absolutely loved it! I was serviced right away and noticed a lot of people pouring in by the time I was leaving and they were all taken in a reasonable amount of time. My nails were done so quick but so well, the tech asked how I liked my shape and length. Also, he put on the two different colors I was indecisive about to let me choose and I thought that was really nice. Overall a really great place and would recommend to anyone! read more

absolutely horrible. worst experience ever. I have been getting mani/pedi for many years. I tried this place in a pinch on Monday. it is now wed and my toe nail polish was chipped so bad I had to take it off today. I got dip on my nails that was supposed to match toes. it def did not. You can see thru the nailpolish. That to even tho it is dip, is seriously chipping on the edges. My cuticles don't look like they touched them. Over all nothing good about the service I received. And it was $20 more then anywhere else I've been. I normally go every 2-2.5 weeks. So I don't expect it last forever. But it lasted less than 48 hrs Before it was all so chipped, it looked trashy. Cost me $100 for basic mani/pedi. And now I have to go this same week to my reg place and pay all over again. Never again. I do not know how this place stays in business. read more

Came here for the first time today and will definitely be coming back!! It's so hard to find a good nail salon, but came across this when checked online! The place is clean (including the bathroom). The employees all wear uniforms, mask, gloves, and the lining of the pedicure bath was changed between customers. I did not feel as if they were rushing on me, despite a couple customers waiting. Frequently asked if the water temperature was okay, color/shape was okay. I even got a glitter waterfall on my big toes. Reasonable prices too! Can't wait to try getting a manicure here! read more

A nice touch is that they give you a bottle of water (8 oz) for free. I'm not much for designs but I did get one on my first visit. I loved it. Sorry no picture. Only one criticism. This was the 3rd time having gel polish removed from my toenails but the first time I was told it cost 5.00 extra. Makes sense since it is time consuming but now I'm wondering if I was charged the other times. They are closed on Tuesdays but open on Sundays which is how I found this salon right down the street from me. You get a 2.00 discount if you pay in cash and 5.00 off on your 6th visit with a card you have stamped each time you spend 15.00 or more. That's a bonus I can appreciate. read more

I normally come here for pedicures and they normally do a good job. But today I came here to get a full set and a pedicure which I made known as soon as I walked in. I was seated for my pedicure 1st. I had my 10mo in hand. At the end of my pedicure a nail tech asked if I had someone to hold my baby and I said no. They turned me away and said they could not do my full set because she may move too much. I understand if we have to do one hand at a time which takes longer but do not take me through one service to turn me away for another service. I will never come back here. Waste of time. read more

I had an express pedicure with crackle nail polish, which they charged me an extra $5 for! It was done with one coat , Color was uneven and was not placed on my whole nail and my nails were unevenly cut! I had been going somewhere else for my bi-weekly dip manicures, but one Saturday afternoon I showed up at my normal salon to find a sign on the door saying "Sorry, temporarily closed." I couldn't wait another week - my nails were already too long to type, and that's pretty much my job - and it's hard to find a salon that's open on Sundays, but I searched around and found Nail Garden & Spa, which is actually closer to me than my original place. I went in and they were able to take me right away, since they had many more nail techs and a much bigger place. The color selection wasn't as wide as my original place, but I enjoyed the experience and end result so much more I ended up not minding. It's easier to pick a color if there are fewer to choose from, anyway. At my old place not only did I get scolded if I asked them to actually cut my nails, I always felt like they were rushing me, and there were only two techs that could do the dip manicure so I could end up sitting there for two hours. Here they take their time, make sure each nail looks good, ask me several times during the process if I'm happy with the color, nail shape, etc., do an amazing hand massage with exfoliant and lotion, and depending on who you get (or if you need it) they'll even apply some cuticle oil. My first time there the tech accidentally nicked my cuticle with the little sander thing - it happens, I wasn't upset - but rather than pretending it didn't happen at all, he paused and cleaned it up with some alcohol and cream. I really appreciated that. They also give you a free bottle of water and the topper, I think, is that I usually go with my sister but even though we usually arrive a few minutes apart, they know we like to sit together and they'll even ask other clients to shift over a seat so we can. I really like this place, and once summer and open-toed shoe season hits I'll definitely try out a pedicure. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! first off, I made an appointment at 11 am. I was early, and they made me wait until 11:20 to service my WHILE TAKING OTHER CUSTOMERS BEFORE ME. Then, attempted to use a CHEESE GRATER on my feet! EW!!!!! (Which if I'm correct is illegal and can get them shut down for that) And lastly, provided the worst toe paint job I've ever seen. I called them and asked for a refund because I dont see why I should have to waste MORE of my time going back to fix it and sitting there uncomfortable, and am going to have to go elsewhere, and they would NOT refund me because I didnt "let them fix it". My 6 year old could of did a better job. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my whole life. Btw don't plan on using ur credit or debit card then only take cash app, Venmo, and Apple Pay and u can't write in the notes that u got a service u have to write "thank you" AKA there evading tax . Made an appointment and was excited to hear they had same day appts. Was a few mins early for my appt, and stood at the reception desk for 5 minutes before even being spoken to. Then I was directed to a pedicure chair where I sat for 45 minutes. No one spoke to me in that time to explain why the delay. No one. There were easily 7 people working. After the third time the massage chair shut itself off I asked why they day they're by appt only when they don't keep their appt times. One person asked me to ask someone else who said oh I'm almost done. Had you said that 45 mins ago I might have made an appt to come back. Crappy customer service! read more

I've been there three times since they opened, and I've really enjoyed my experiences! The only reason I gave 4 stars is the last time I was there, we were in the middle of a heatwave and their air conditioning wasn't working. While the guy gave us bottled water, I was dripping in sweat. They didn't even have the door open! But the girls are very nice, and my pedicure was exceptionally done. She spent an hour doing my nails and did an amazing job. I didn't feel rushed at all, she really took her time which was nice. The place was very clean and the other staff members were very nice. my friend and i had wanted to try a new place to get a full set because M&A nails was closed and it was my only off day. it was a very clean shop and the employees were nice enough BUT i'm pretty sure they use MMA monomer (liquid). it dries fast, and it's gummy and abnormally strong. it's illegal for nail salons to use because it can cause rashes, tremors, pain, swelling, and worst of all can expose you to PERMANENT health issues. when the acrylic was being applied to my friend, her nails started burning- she told the woman doing her nails and she immediately sprayed my friends nail with a spray bottle which was handy on her desk as if it wasn't the first time she's been told. THEN my friend asked why it was burning and she paused and made up a story about how her nail was thin and that's why. no matter how weak or brittle my nails have been i never had an experience like that. when i went to pay someone came in because her pedicure chipped after 2 days of having it (just a warning, my polish seemed old). my friends nails came out fine. i asked for coffin shaped as usual but it wasn't coffin shaped, the nails were not even, and then i realized when he put the polish on that 1 of my nails was significantly shorter than the rest. when i got home- first i filed them to make sure they all looked like they were supposed to be on the same hand and then i saw that the acrylic ran into my finger and its been red, hot, and painful since i pulled it away from my nail. both of our sets were $30 ($25 for full set + 5 for shape). i couldnt even bring myself to tip. save your money and go elsewhere. edit: okay fair enough. still doesn't explain why my nails were all uneven and why my cuticles were untouched. not a $30 service and especially not with your bad attitude. read more

I felt like they were rushing to finish at the end of my manicure. The people are nice except when they are talking back and forth very loudly.
