I absolutely love this place! It's the best nail salon in Delco, in my humble opinion. I usually make an appointment with Linh for my refills. I have seen majority or the nail techs tho, are they're all great!! Today I had the pleasure of sitting with John for my acrylic refill and design, I was a walk in today and Linh was busy. I got a gel pedicure, acrylic refills with gel polish and a design. Lenny the owner is so warm and friendly, as are all of the staff! Upon entry, the staff was not welcoming at all. i opted for the the spa pedicure, and possibly getting a polish change for my nails. The lady who serviced me handled me rough, like pushing my toes hard and pushing my feet into the water making it splash. and the work was sub- par. I had to correct her 3x bc she was leaving my big toe slanted . idk if she was tired or what. The polish was horrible, it looked lumpy or something on my toenail. i told her to just take it off. Then on top of that, i told the lady to get the mgr for me bc i did want to get my nails done. She never called him, so i had to get his attention when he came back into sight. Today was my first time going here. I was greeted by a very friendly young woman who was prompt to help me. I was seated right away even was able to get a spot next to my sister in law. We both had very friendly ready to go nail techs. I had Zoila. I requested to have my feet soak for about 5 minutes rather than starting right away she accommodated me. No attitude or rushing. She was warm, friendly, competent, and efficient. The salon was bright, cheerful and spotlessly clean. I recently moved back to the Philly area and heard great things about this nail salon. I've been coming to this salon for the passed 2 months and every visit I've booked an appointment. I'm always on time, they do great work, and I always tip. I had an appointment today at 930 but my morning became hectic and I wasn't able to make the appointment. I planned on calling to let them know but the receptionist called me first. I let him know due to my morning I wasn't able to make it, can I reschedule. He told me since I missed my appointment this morning he isn't going to make another appointment for me and I can come in as a walk it at a time he thought was appropriate. So, I told him that time doesn't work for me I can only get my nails done early AM. I then asked him "are you refusing me service?" He said yes. His argument was that due to me missing my appointment, his tech now misses out on money. Im in the hospitality Feild, so I understand his standpoint. BUT refusing a guest a reservation and then telling the guest to continue to support the establishment at only a time that ONLY satisfies the EMPLOYEE is not hospitality and is extreme when the guest has a good history of showing up and supporting the establishment. Mind you, this is the ONLY appointment I have never made in 2 months and I get my nails done every 2/2.5 weeks. If he wants to dictate when people can show up, has a problem with cancellation or rescheduling, then there should be a cancellation/rescheduling fee of some sort to at least to make up the tip for the tech. Because you're not going to tell me when I can and can not get my nails done. I'm sure they won't be hurting without my business but good work doesn't make up for treating people like that. read more

I chose the salon because it is next to the massage location where I'm headed. I know it's the mainline, but really lady is that' what your business is doing. I wonder why they accepted the appointment. I provided my name and number. The gentleman confirmed both. They could've called me to cancel if there was an issue. I arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment for promptness and was prepared to wait outside because of possible COVID restrictions. I do not recommend this salon if you value your time and enjoy being respected. Obviously, I can't comment on service Thankfully there's another salon 3 minutes away. The man at the front handed me the basket with the colors, and a woman stood there and stared me down while I sorted through them. After a couple minutes of sifting through the extensive number of subpar gel colors they had, the woman asked, "Are you done yet?" I asked if I could have a few more minutes, so that I wasn't rushed into choosing a color that I'd have for weeks. The woman stormed off to the back and sat down on one of the pedicure chairs and never returned. The gel manicure was done scarily quick. I will not be returning again, as I feel the nail technicians here rush you so that they can have more time to go on their phones. Terrible, lady cut my fingers, and made my cuticles bleed, the nail polish was already chipping and having indents, the lady was rough when filing and made me cringe a lot. My cuticles looked terrible and very dry my nails were chipped and uneven. I just think if the spa was professional I would be more happy with the outlook and overall result. read more

Was there on Sunday 7/3/2022. Three techs were working. My mom and i went in for pedicure and dip nails. I sat in the pedicure chair with my feet in the water for 1hr and 15min.... It was okay i was not upset or anything. But when she finally got to my feet it was rushed. Then i got a different tech for my nails. He put the wrong color on, did not prep my nails. So know they are lifting 4 days later. Not to mention my mom was done an hour before I was... i was there for 3 hours and 45 Min.... Not to mention we also had appointments. And we got the SAME thing i got tips added to my nails... and my moms ended up being 12 dollars more. Doesn't make any sense to me. Ohh and all my nails are crooked. read more

I am here now getting a gel manicure, pedicure and will be getting my eyebrows waxed. I am mortified by the treatment I am getting. I shaved my hair into a trendy haircut with my friend who has CANCER because, she was afraid so I got my hair cut off while she was getting hers shaved off to prepare for her treatment. I was here a few weeks ago when my hair was long. Had the best service ever. NOW I get this b.s. treatment because, my hair is different. I visited here after all the other salons in my area close early on Friday. I also waited to write the review after a few days just to make sure my nails didn't chip. I got a pedicure done by Leo, there wasn't much of a wait and he got right to work. Very relaxing. I do not put Acrylic on my nails so I can't speak for that. The place was clean, quiet atmosphere. Not very big though. I was greeted by staff, very friendly, didn't talk amongst themselves when they did my nails. I did take some pictures hopeful that helps someone else. I give it 4 stars because my toes look great and the place was clean (from what I saw). Some notes: -Might want to bring your own polish, crappy selection and old -The pedicure wasn't exactly speedy but I was in no rush -It is on the small side... -I did not visit the bathroom or backroom so I can't speak for that. After each employee finished a pedicure they must have went on break. They were so slow. I've seen someone do 3 pedicures in the time it took them to do one. I ended up getting up and leaving and they didn't say a word or apologize when I paid for my daughters. When we left our legs were itching so bad. The guy did a horrible job! He cut the crap out of my toe with the cuticle cutter and I bled for a good 3 minutes. He put some painful blue liquid on it and kept scrubbing at it to stop the blood then decided it would be a good idea to paint my French tip nail polish over it so you can see the dried blood on my toe. Before I signed in I asked if they would be able to do my pedicure right away or should I come back later, because they looked busy. She assured me that they would be able to start immediately. As the basin was filling with water, someone came over and I asked if she would be doing my pedicure now, she said "Yes, right away." Ten minutes later, feet in cool water - nothing. I put my shoes on and told the first woman " I told you I could come back if you were busy. Next time just tell the truth" and left. My go to nail salon! They are clean, decent prices, and are very nice and good at their jobs! I normally get a gel manicure and pedicure there! Very professional. I also get my eyebrows waxed there. I have been to many places and they seem to be the only ones that shape them up the way I want! Buyer Beware! I went to this place for the very first time because it had a 5-star rating. Well that was bogus! I had an appointment and when I walked in and told them that they just looked at me like I was crazy. Finally they tell me to sit at a station and someone started to work on my nails. Well after he was done removing the polish/gel he told me someone else was going to do nails in a few minutes. I waited 1/2 hour, finally a girl comes over and I tell her what I want done. I made it very clear not to shorten my nails and to make sure they were square. She insisted on evening them out. Then she stopped and a different man comes over to do the refill and filing in which I expressed not to shorten them! They shortened them anyway. Then he gets up and another girl comes over to polish and do the design. Seriously why did I bother making an appointment? There was no reason to have 4 different people do my nails? Not to mention the place is not very clean, cobwebs and dust everywhere. Most of their nail polish looked very, very old. They are also very disorganized in that they were running around to each different station looking for what they needed. Guy who did my nails did a very neat job, BUT the gel color is not at all what it was supposed to look like. The example nail was a dark red, and when he was finished (when it would be too late to fix) I had bright, cherry red nails. I work in a professional setting and will now have to take important meetings tomorrow with stripper nails. I even said "wow, this is not what I expected" and was not even acknowledged. Aside from this, I was told it would take 35 minutes to do their "dip" gel manicure, and I was there for almost a full hour. I love Best Nails! They are the quick (which I LOVE), the right price and are never too pushy. I've been to salons where they keep pushing the latest money maker on their customers. It is so frustrating! I've been a loyal Best Nail customer for about two years and will continue to support. I've only ever had one technician that I did not care for. Beyond annoying. Made a one o'clock appointment. Got there 5 minutes early. The man in front told me abruptly to sign in, no greeting, he didn't even look up. I signed in and said I had a one o'clock appointment which he did not acknowledge. After 20 minutes I got up and said perhaps this wasn't going to work out and he said "no, no we take you now, sit down" and motioned me to one of the pedicure tubs. I was about to take a seat when I looked in the tub which had not been cleaned and full of residue soap scum. I just stood there and a girl came over to fill the tub and I asked to to clean the tub before she filled it. She did as I requested and filled the tub. I asked her if there was someone to do my pedicure and she said "yes, right now." These people have a reputation when they have kept you waiting for too long to fill the tub and let you wait with your feet soaking because they think you won't leave. After I was left with my feet soaking in the tub for 20 minutes I got a towel, dried my feet and left. STAY AWAY, this place is badly run, DIRTY and as soon as they think you are getting annoyed because you have waited too long they have you soak your feet AND WAIT THERE AS THE WATER SLOWLY GETS COLD. read more
